omg! if this is still being operated then sign me up =P i ahve a story to tell about this!!
I was in Speech class last semester in school, Speech as in giving speeches not speech inparements. We had to do a speech on a persuasive issue and try to persuade the class to believe in what you thought was right. So being lez, I immediately thought of gay marriage. So my speech was great. I had evidence prepared, I had pictures of Rosie and Kelly after they got married. I had things from a site, which was SisterRossetta.com i believe, that showed how narrow minded people are. I read those to the class and asked them if they actually wanted to be that way, since that's how they thought about hte situation. I knew this because of how they answered the questions on my class survey they had to fill out. Anyway, one of the questions on my survey was "Do you have any gay relations?" and some said yes, some no, and then there were the stupid answers. So, for my attn. grabber i was like "Ok I know on the survey I asked, 'Do you have any gay relations?' Some of you said yes some said no. Well I'm telling you, you all know one person. YOu may be denying it, but you do. This someone is very close to all of you and you might've never guessed the outcome. It's me. Yes I am a lesbian, in the flesh." xD you should've seen their reactions! OMG it was great! I loved every second of the speech. With an attn grabber that good, they were forced to listen. It was great seeing all of their faces. Ha but i just thought id share that with you. ^^ Since it was a great experince!

I give you props for that!! I don't think i'd ever have the confidence to be so bold about my sexuality in school...^^
My stand on same sex marriges? Well...right now I'm very in love with my girlfriend and though I know everyone will be saying i'm too young to know this, when I'm with her it feels right...and i really do feel like we're ment to be. I'd love to be able to marry her someday...that's among my fondest dreams. However, i know many people in America simply don't care, they think that being in love with someone of the same sex is compleatly wrong and discusting. I know i can never change the mind of someone so narrow-minded...but i hope that one day my country will at least reconigize our love as a joined union, i suspose that'd be enough for me.
I happily sign your petition...why not? ^^

I have a girlfriend who I am very in love with and wish that I could take on the rights and responsiblities of marriage with her. I know that no matter what ever happens to either of us, we will always be there for eachother. Isn't that way heterosexuals get married? Sing me up.

Same sex marriage is awesome. people cant help the way they feel. although i feel kinda guilty about god. my friend told me that god put women AND men on this earth so that theyc ould join together. not the same sex. and someone mentioned you could go to hell for being " wrong through sexuality" because its a sin. do any of you believe that!? I dont know what to believe anymore...

Wraith-sama Hey all! Im trying to start a petition to legelise same sex marriages. If ya wanna sign it, just post here. If youre looking to mock or criticise anything about this then try PMing me dont post here coz thatll mean you signed the petition I think there is nothing wrong with the same sex marriages after all we're all human and we all deserve the same rights to marriage. So sign me up!

Same sex marriages rock!!! They so should be allowed.... And, for all the gay fearing folk out there, you'd think they would appreciate gay couples wanting to commit becuase that means we arent out there trying to "corrupt" their sons and daughters!!!! Not like most of them NEED corrupting, they do it all by themselves just fine. Marriage is an expression of love and commitment, I should think that people would respect that sort of thing and let anyone who wants to get married, get married! Well... except for people who are really young... That should wait just a while..... Really young meaning like under 18......

I dont know what to believe anymore... Well, those same people should look in their bibles becuase I think it says in there to love is to be like God.... So, if it is love.... Then what's wrong about it? We are not here to judge each other, when we die we will be judged by God, and I think he/she will probably count more the things we have done in our life than the people we spent our lives with. So, if you are a good person than I doubt that you have much to fear for your good deeds will speak much louder than the sounds anybody makes in the bedroom! wink

People have the right to love or marry or consumate their love with whomever they wish as long as both partners agree to it...(rape is a bad thing). I don't understand why so many people are against it. I think it's because they believe it's out of the ordinary. Oh well, time's change.
