Jenna was panting a bit when she reached the light, and she gladly sat down beside him. Like she always did, she looked at the map as he held it and tried to decipher it's meaning. She waited patiently for him to do so, she was no good at determining what it meant. This was her first treasure map adventure after all.

MacCloud looked it over. "It reads, 'Gold, Gems and wealth beyond mesure will be kept hidden here until...'" The next part was a bit smudgy so MacCloud was having a hard time reading it. "Well, I think that means it's here somewhere."
MacCloud stood up and looked around the cave. It wasn't too big or too small. It seemed the right size for a cave. The firelight gave it an odd glow along with the "Jenna" flower.
MacCloud then looked back at the map. He held it up to Jenna's flower to get a better look. "'Until two of pure heart take the right step.' What does that mean I wonder?"

"...two of pure heart?" she asked, giving a confused look.
"Well...having a pure heart...I would guess means having a kind and good heart...but how would the treasure know if someone's heart was pure?"

"I guess the treasure must be magical in nature." MacCloud didn't always belive in magic, but there were time when it was and could be the only explination.
"Let's say we are two of pure heart, what's the 'right step'?" He had to guess they were because they had gotten this far. MacCloud thought Jenna must have a pure heart and maybe he did too. Though, he would have guessed he did which just proved the point.

"Hmm...maybe we have to step in the right place somewhere. Like...a secret panel or something." It was the only thing she could think of. Unless it was something figurative, and not literal.

MacCloud looked at Jenna and then to the floor. "That's a good idea, lass." He then walked over to a spot that had the MacCloud crest on it. The one where the found the map. "Okay, now you step here too."

"Okay..." she said, walking over and gazing at the crest on the ground. Then she placed her foot there, and waited for something to happen.

Now that the two were standing on the spot the floor opened up and they both fell into a smaller cave. MacCloud stood up and looked over to Jenna. "Are you okay, lassie?" He then looked around. The room was filled with gold, jewels and other treausres. The male stood there with a smile.
Also, MacCloud noticed a light coming from the wall. It looked like the outside. There was a back way out as well.

Jenna let out a gasp as they tumbled to the ground. It didn't hurt, it has just surprised her. She looked over to MacCloud, nodding her head as she answered.
"Yeah, I'm fine..." Noticing his smile, she then looked around too at all the treasure. Her eyes widened and she too smiled. "Wow...."

"Aye, wow. We hit the jackpot." MacCloud nodded. He got up and found a crown. He placed that on Jenna's head. "There you go my lady."
He then saw something on the map. He read it outloud, "You may only keep one thing each. Leave the rest for the next two pure hearts." MacCloud nodded. "Aye, take one thing and I will too."
MacCloud looked arond for a bit until something caught his eye. It was a nice sword. It had a dragon ivory handle. "Aye, this I will take."

She smiled and gazed up at the crown on her head. She couldn't see it all quite that well, but it gleamed and glittered, and she could tell it was very beautiful.
"Thank you," she said and continued to look around the cave room.
After MacCloud had read the remaining bit on the map and taken a sword she decided what she would take.
"I'll take this crown then," she told him, smiling.

"Aye, it does look beautiful on you. And you look beautiful in it." MacCloud nodded. He then put the sword on his back and the map in his mouth. "Out to the light we go."
MacCloud climbed out of the hole to see they were in the forest again. It was dark and very hard to see beyond the trees. No wonder no one found the back way in. It would be hard unless you know what you were looking for.

She blushed briefly as he complimented her, although she didn't have all that much time to think about it, because he was off and headed towards the exit. She followed him, happy to be out of the cave, yet sad that their adventure had to come to an end.
She stepped out behind him and looked around.
"Wow..." she said, "I wonder where we are..."

"Aye, good question." MacCloud said as he took the map out of his mouth. He then looked around and pushed his way through the trees. Then he saw it. Right there in front of them was the wishing well. MacCloud cracked a smile and began to laugh.
"I guess we went far, but not really far." He then took the map and went to the well. "I think I need to put it back. For the next two." Which is what he did.

Jenna laughed with him when she realized where they had come out at. It was a very good thing they hadn't gone far though. At least they wouldn't be lost. But she wouldn't really mind being lost, she knew that MacCloud would probably help her find her way home.
She went to the well with him and helped him put the map back.
"Yes...I wonder who will be next. That was very fun.." ^^
