Lin nodded to Storm, "Those are the barracks where the fighters live, there are fighters that Miyu and I visit all the time over here."

Even though they visited different fighters at the same time, and rarely the same at the same time.

"Yea, there's a lot of people this time," Donovan chuckled at that.

"Well..." Lore bent over to talk to Shiro, "The woman is Haradhel, she is your aunt, and that little girl I assume is Arwen, your cousin. You have quite a number of relatives here too Shiro."

Aliya giggled softly at Ryu, then peered past him at Tao.

"And you must be Tao," she grinned at the griffin, releasing Ryu and reaching her hand out to pat Tao on the head. "You're cute."

She glanced over at Feng. "You're sure she would keep the kids safe? She seems ... I hate to say it, but a little too friendly ..."

She couldn't help but wonder if the griffin wouldn't just go up to any humans that showed up and try to make frieds with them.

Harahel laughed at Kara's reaction and put one hand on her belly. "Yes ... yes. This makes three, though, so at least we're not as bad as Amdir and Aliya."

Arwen blinked up at her mother. "What? Is it bad to have babies?"

Haradhel giggled and put one hand on her daughter's head. "It's a figure of speech, Arwen, don't worry. Now go on, collect their bags, and we'll all sit down for a snack or something and you can meet them all then."

Arwen sighed dramatically. "Oh, all riiiiight," she grinned. She giggled a bit and skipped over to the others, hands outstretched. "Bags!" she said brightly. "Come on!"

Shiro's ears perked up at Arwen's call, and he tugged Ura's hand gently.

"Come on," he murmured, "she can't carry all the bags on her own. Let's help her!"

Ura nodded his agreement, and the two of them slipped out from between everyone, taking bags as they went.

Elnara smiled and handed her bag down to Arwen, then moved forward to help un-crowd the hall.

"This way," Celebor directed her from where he was standing, pointing into the dining room. "There's a lot of room in there anyways."

Elnara nodded gratefully and headed into the dining room as directed and found that it was indeed quite large - seating for at least a hundred, she was certain, and for a moment she wondered how Haradhel managed it all, especially when she was pregnant like that.

Feng giggled and her eyes trinkled with mischief, and Ryu coughed, they both knew about Tao's tendency to love to be petted and part of it was because she had been turned into a pet of sorts.

It was a hand! Tao bumped her head into Aliya's hand as she got closer, because she wanted to really see what was in the basket. She tittered happily at the contact.

"Tao does know how to guard if you tell her," Ryu replied knowing a bit more about how Tao was trained than Feng did, "It's just you're going to have to teach her how to guard children, though it helps that Tao seems to view children as err... I don't know what you'd call a baby griffin but she's been known to try and groom the younger angels."

"So Aliya is having one too? Or she already had one?" Kara asked, she couldn't help but be curious.

"More little ones, on top of your little ones," Wish murmured from behind Kara.

"You two becareful," Lore warned.

He didn't want them to take on more than they could handle, though he had to smile at their helpfulness. It was just like Shiro in a way.

Lin opened the door leading into the barracks holding tightly to Miyu's hand.

"Be careful!" she told the two twins, "Hold onto Miyu because it's dark inside and I don't want to lose you two."

As the basket was jostled by Tao, Adonijah was woken suddenly from his sleep and he let out a long wail of fright that turned into a crescendo of high-pitched cries that only a newborn baby could make.

Aliya cursed softly under her breath and put the basket down on the table, gently nudging Tao aside so that she could pick up her son with all of the blankets. She held him to her shoulder, rocking him gently and murmuring softly to him, and slowly but surely his cries ceased to soft whimpers.

"So we would have to train her," she murmured, holding her son carefully. "I'd appreciate if you could help with that, at least for the first while, while you're here."

Now that Aliya was outside and not holding the basket, Alyse crawled out from under the table and clung to her mother's leg, looking shyly up at Feng and Ryu.

Haradhel grinned. "Just had her fourth last week. Boy. Adonijah. Named after Adonai."

She motioned towards the dining room again. "Come in, come in, all of you ... not much room out here, come on." She headed into the dining room herself and motioned for all of them to sit.

Arwen grinned at Shiro and Ura as she shouldered the rest of the bags.

"Come on upstairs with me," she invited. "This way, follow me!"

Shiro nodded and followed after Arwen. "Come on, Ura," he beckoned. "Follow me!"

The two demons headed off after Arwen, and for the first time Shiro wasn't leading Ura by the hand.

Skye, who had been following behind Lore, stepped forward and took his hand.

"Come, Papa," she smiled up at him. "Haradhel says go that way!" And she pointed at the doorway where her aunt had disappeared.

"We can get mother to help," Ryu replied, "She knows better than we do what Tao is capable of."

He watched as the griffin whinced at the high pitched cry. It was a hatchling and a very loud hatchling, though she couldn't understand why it was crying. Was it hungry? No... no that might not be it, the other one wasn't feeding it, maybe the hatchling needed something to distract it.

She ducked her head under her wing like a bird would picking out a loose feather with her beak. Nibbling at it so it would come out before bringing it back out and tried presenting it to the baby. It always worked before.

Granted it had worked with Second littles and she couldn't tell the difference, a hatchling was a hatchling right?

Feng looked down at Alyse and grinned waving at the little girl, "Hi there, aren't you a cute one?"

Kara smiled at that, well then she would just have to go and visit Aliya and the others. She took Donovan's hand headed towards the dining room with Triton and Cindy in tow.

Lore smiled fondly at Skye as he felt her hand take his, "Alright then," he murmured to her.

He led her in the direction that she had pointed to, it was hard to imagine that there were so many people much that there was room for everyone. Though if the dining hall was to be a judge there was enough room.

Lin opened the door and slipped in, keeping the door open for Storm and Starr before leading the way towards the second floor of the building. Where she knew both Aragost and Elros stayed when they were not on duty. At least she hoped they weren't both on duty, though that was always possible.

Aliya blinked at Tao, and though she understood what the griffin was trying to do she twisted her body gently so that Adonijah would be protected from her.

"No, Tao," she said firmly. "He's too little, too young. No feathers for Adonijah."

Alyse peered up at Feng timidly and pressed herself closer to her mother's legs. Her face turned a light shade of red and she tried to hide a bit, but she smiled faintly and raised one hand a bit, waving one finger back at Feng.
