Seth woke up a bit surprised not to find Alex next to him. "Alex?" He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and threw the covers off of him. "Alex?" He looked into the bathroom and out into the bar. "Ok so maybe...shes not here?" He smiled at the deduction and went back into the room. Shedding his cloths he walked back to his duffel bag, he still hadnt unpacked... Odd. "This is home isnt it?" He contemplated the question as he dressed himself in simple blue jeans and a black shirt. "Slept here a couple times and i do technically own half this room..." He looked around as he said that, the room was a bit girly; but if it works it works. He went out into the bar and flicked on the open sign, but then noticed it was already on. "Alex where the hell are you." He thought a little worried.

There was a sort of thud from above the ceiling, knocking a set of stairs loose that went up into an attic type room. The sound of shuffling and mumbling could be heard from the stairway.

Seth looked up at the ladder confused. He never noticed that little hatch, but whatever. "Alex?" He called up questioningly. After a moment he just said screw it and climbed upstairs peeking his head into the attic. "Hello?"

Behind a pile of boxes an arm waved. "Over here." Alex called. She picked a box up and moved it before standing up to smile at him. "Just getting some more crates for teh back room, along with something else."

He smiled in her direction. "I dont like waking up alone ya know." He walked over and grabbed the crate she had moved. "So the back room?" He said looking down at the box. "You know this attic is pretty big. It would make a nice room." He shrugged as the brain to mouth ended.

She nodded as she grabbed a second crate and an old file. "Yeah, I thought about it a couple of times, but since it was just me here for so long I just used it as a storage room. I use to keep a bunch of faction related things up here, haven't touched teh stuff though for some time, till recently anyways." she smiled. "I got a question for you by the way. If you were given the opportunity, would you get a UH ID?" she asked.

He turned his head to the side and thought about it. "Well techincally the only reason i dont have one is because through some miracle the justice systems has upheld my civil rights and they didnt forcefully find out my power. Then seeing a si didnt know it i couldnt properly register, but i think the whol...." He realized he was rambling. "Yeah i need to go register now that i have an idea what my power is, some of the bars suppliers are starting to act a little funny. By the way we cant go to Decreasing Buzz anymore, they got robbed by a U.H. So now they only sell to humans." He sat on the crate and just looked up at her, his eyes were full of confusion and a small tint of anger...

Alex frowned slightly. "Well thats no good. I'll walk down and have a talk with them, see if I can't work out a deal." She shifted teh crate a bit and handed teh file to him. "This is the paper work used to register for a card. It's a quick fill out so you don't get stuck waiting all day at HEC for a card." She gave a funny sort of smile. "Best not to ask why I have them." she explained.

He looked at her and frowned. "I do hope you dont think im ignorant of the things that go on here. I know about the meetings, the cards, the loaned money... I dont care but i want to know if its always going to be a part of your life...because if it is.." He didnt know how to finish that statement or if he could. "I love you, but all this with the H.E.C and the Faction i dont know..." He picked up the crate he was sitting on and just went downstairs.

Alex stood up in the attic alone for a bit, letting what she said sink in. It wasn't the first time left her because they didn't approve of teh things she did. This felt a bit different from those times though. Losing friends didn't hurt that bad, however, hearing teh one person she actually cared about even make mention of it cut pretty deep. She let out a breath and looked back into the corner of teh attic at the stack of files she had been hiding from the HEC. Records on other UH's registered or otherwise, some gone missing, some deceased, some in hiding, all of them faction members or formerly so. Moving she came down and set the crate down as she closed up the attic. She was silent still, making sure that what she said would come out right.

Sitting the crate down he sat down next to it. He couldnt believe he said it, but he did and there was no taking it back. Seth didnt feel in danger here but maybe it was a fear for Alex's life more than his. If some took... "I need to be telling her these things." He got up and went out into the bar area looking for Alex...When he saw her he was silent trying to figure out his emotions.

There was a slight shudder of her shoulders before she bent down to pick up teh crate and went to put it away. She paused when she saw Seth, and averted her gaze to look at teh floor as she went into the back room. She looked a mix of guilty and sad as she passed him. 'How am I suppose to give up on something that I believe so strongly in...'

Seth reached out and grabbed her and stopping her. He kept looking past her and began to speak. "Alex i love you, i know why your doing this. Ive watched you do it for a long time. But now im here your a aprt of my life, perhaps the biggest part. What am i supposed to do if something happens to you? Do you really think i could live without you? Your my best friend and the one person i love..." A tear slid down his cheek and he stood motionless. "Please just be careful, i wont ask you to stop. But just be careful." He let her go and then walked back to their bedroom.

Alex didn't look at him as he spoke, but nodded in silence. She set the box down as soon as he let go. Taking a shaking breath she turned and walked in behind him and hugged him, leaning her head against his back. "I'm sorry Seth. I promise that the things that I'm involved in now-a-days...It's nothing dangerous. I gave that stuff up awhile ago." she paused a moment. "Thank you for understanding, and if you want, I'll explain what I do now."

He placed his hands over hers on his stomach, looking back at the top of her head. "Its your business, i just want you to know i dont resent the jobs. I just resent the danger they put you in. I watched a man get a bullet in the head just for walking down the same side of the street as an H.E.C CEO. If they will kill a man for that, they will kill you for less." He had stopped crying and wiped away his tears. "I just want you to know how much i love you. So much so that death wont keep me from you. And no i dont mean in that weird, 'can i please have five more minutes alone with the body' kinda way."
