Wendy suddenly felt the overwhelming sensation that someone was watching her. Oh, now you're just being paranoid, her brain said in exasperated tones. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling...
She looked up - and right into the eyes of Remus Lupin. Her face became extremely hot, but she still managed a smile. Good morning, she mouthed.

Remus nearly fell out of his chair when he was suddenly looking directly into Wendy's eyes. His face turned bright, bright red, embarrassed at being caught staring. Wanting to make a good impression, he grinned (a bit too much; it hurt his face) and jerked up a hand to wave and knocked over his juice. "Oh fu-...no, wait, I don't think I should finish that..." he muttered bitterly, forcing himself to look away in order to clean up his mess.

Wendy giggled aloud at this lovely display of nerve-induced clumsiness. A group of girls sitting a few seats down from her gave her odd looks, but she didn't pay them any mind. He's so cute! Wait, did I just think what I think I just thought? Giving her head a quick shake to clear it of the confusion, she went back to smiling bemusedly over at Remus, who was now cleaning the mess he'd made by toppling his drink.

Sebastian entered the Great Hall and took a look around. The tables were already full of fellow students and nearly all the teachers were sitted at the head table. It was no trouble to tell which house sat at which table. A flash of green caught his eye. Well, more like a wave of green. The Slytherin table was on the far left side of the hall. He made his way to the table and took a sit near the middle. He put on his plate some toast and jam. As he was eating he scanned the table covered in red and looked for Lux.

"How's your guys' morning?" Lily was glad that someone she knew (and didn't have any distaste for) was already sitting down at the table. She then noticed Remus's mess, and giggled. "And, who made you spill that glass, Remus?"

Remus turned furiously red as he continued to mop up his juice (forgetting a simple wave of his wand would suffice). "I believe this arse did it," he muttered embarrassedly pointing at himself with his thumb.

Lily cocked an eyebrow and looked at Remus. "You may have been the one who knocked it over, but I believe something or someone distracted you...Am I right?"

Wendy watched his recovery for a bit longer, then her attention was diverted by an owl landing in front of her plate. She looked up to see that it was the one who brought her the Daily Prophet. Grinning a little, she slipped a Knut into the little pouch attached to the owl's leg, then quickly turned to the crossword puzzle to begin, looking up at Remus every now and then for reasons unknown to her.

Remus felt his jaw harden suddenly; he was not about to broadcast his feelings to everyone in Hogwarts! "Maybe it's none of your business, ever think about that Lils?" he asked tightly with a grim smile before turning to his food again.

Lily was shocked by Remus's reaction. She didn't mean to upset him. Well, I guess I had it coming, I shouldn't have poked my nose in his business. "I'm sorry Remus. I didn't mean to make you upset, I was just teasing you a bit." Lily casted her eyes downward, she didn't want to see his face if her reply made him even madder.

Remus closed his eyes and sighed quietly. "Nah, I'm sorry. I just...I kinda like this girl, and I don't wanna mess up by blabbing about it," he said sheepishly.

Lily looked back at Remus, she felt a little better now that she knew what was really wrong. "You can tell me if you want to, but my suggestion is that you should try asking her to go somewhere on a hogsmead trip. That might be kinda fun."
