"Ahhhhhh!" Strake screamed as a battle cry. He came soaring down with his sword facing down words. The sun kept shining off his sword so all you could see was his silouette and a shining blade. He came down at the speed of gravity and lunged his sword through the elder phantom that Rikku and Luniya were fighting. He used the force of the throw of his sword to do a backflip and landed 10 yards away from his sword. He quickly ran up to his sword and pulled it out of where the phantom was floating. "You girls missed me huh? Nice to see you Rikku, I'm glad to see...you..."Strake could barely breathe, the phantoms power was very strong to him, because he was very thick with demon blood.

He could no longer hide his demon form and his fox ears and tail appeared, as well as his vicious teath. His skin grew a short coat of fur colored an orange color, with the end of his tail, hands, feet, and nose colored black. "Heh, I don't think they realised they were fighting such a thick blooded demon, I haven't really had fur for a while...well, I have more energy to fight them now...still...feeling a bit...light headed." Strake said as he drew his sword, which he was using to hand to carry. The end of the sword was resting on the ground.

Strake had not a moment to react and would've gotten his, but he had teleported, however this time he was hoping for this result, he quickly rose his blade right up through the elder phantom, causing it to vanish. "Ughh, that was the worst experiance of...my...Life!" Strake said, puking on his last word. "I'm not sure if I can handle them, expecialy being surronded by demons, but I'll try my...best." Strake had trouble speaking again, the air was too thick.

"It's about time," Zo murmured when the writhing dark mass began hurtling his way. He backtracked and swung the chain experimentally to the left, smiling with the resultant hissing sound and the smell of hot iron. One loop wound around his shoulder while the other tightened on the swinging arm, giving him more steering control.

Zo swung toward the mass, temporarily set aglow as every individual disc on the chain burst into blue flames that blazed white upon hitting their target. He swung once more, summoning the ability of the blade, "Elemental flame, hearts blaze, purify!" Upon his command the length of chain began to shimmer with heat and power, dancing over his body as though it was alive. At first glance it looked like a chain but just from the corner of the eye, it seemed to whirl through the phantoms like a sleek white dragon, reducing the phantoms into nothingness with the merest contact with the purifying flame.

"Oh, now things are getting interesting, ok lets split up." Rikku ran after a phantom of her own, with a high flying kick she knocked the phantom to the ground. She jumped on top of it and sat on its chest and just began to beat the crap out of its face. It forced her back up and Rikku ran in for some quick punches and dodged with feline like grace and speed. I got to bring on my 'A' game now. Rikku thought competitively, she knew that she was no where near as strong as Strake at this point, but watching her friend just effortlessly blow away that phantom made her try alot harder.

Luniya watched Strake change. She thought it was incredible. Then she saw Zo and Rikku attacking. She looked at her allies closely.Well I suppose it's my turn. Luniya ran towards a group of about seven or eight phantoms. She stopped right in front of them and then jumped high into the air, it's almost as if she was floating for a while. In mid-air she clasped her hands together and water started to form between them. She spread them wide as possible and a long stream of water appeared, at least forty feet long. She threw her hands toward the ground and the water came crashing down on the phantoms with extreme force. When she landed back on the ground she realized that she actually killed some. She was pretty satisfied with what she had done.

((Sorry, school is getting kind of hectic with testing and all so I'll probably be posting a little less the rest of the week.))

"Ughh." Strake fell to the ground and he was unable to mantain his dragon for. "Quite a bit of energy I used up huh? Beam of energy, flying, teleporting, I really got to train on those." Strake said his head towards the ground. "But I'll stick to what I KNOW!" Strake said jumped at an elder phantom that was about to attack him as he said the last word. He slashed his sword right through the phatoms center. "These phatoms are getting a bit boring, you think if I explode they'll go away?" Strake joked.

"You'd think that the dragon would have been the leader...I do think I remember something about a phatom attack from history class back at the academy. Something about a group of 7..." Strake rushed off to the back of the phatoms as he recalled another event from his history class.

Finally that boy figured it out. I wonder if he knows...no there is no way. I'm so glad he got my stronger gene against phantoms. Of course his mothers gene would have been better, phantoms wouldn't affect him. Dart thought as he cleaned the counters. He could feel his son's energy and knew what he was doing.
