Reception was terrible in the cave and particularly bad next to the thunderstone. Most of the message couldn't be made out. "Yo* ne** *o come back. *** **ve's unstable. Too man* *****sions. We're fini*** for now."

Miomoko could kind of make out what whoever was saying, "We're on our way." She said as she hung up and replaced teh cellphone in her pocket quickly. "We gotta go you guys." Miomoko said to Kian, Ana, and the Xatu as she ran back towards the cave's entrance.
Kian still had the pokeball within his jaws. He ran after Miomoko, and caught up fairly quickly.

((OoC: You can't get the thunderstone. Its a massive chunk of ore. It still hasn't been mined out yet.))
"We're coming, Xatu." A red beam of light extended from Ana's ball and picked up her Pokemon. The group made their way back to the chamber where the Magnetron was. The power had gone out and the ceiling had collapsed covering the old passageway. Fortunately with a little work the rocks could be shifted so the surface could be reached. Apparently the Magnetron had left by similar means.
Soon the group was outside of the cave entirely. Saffron city could be seen off in the distance. "You did pretty well back there. I was afraid it was going to detonate."

((I was wondering about that. Alright, I shall edit that post.))
Miomoko smirked, "Thanks." It was the first time Ana and Miomoko had really had somewhat of a, small, conversation. "This little guy?" She said as she took the pokeball from Kian, into her hand and looked at it, "Nah, he's smarter than that." She said, now smiling. Miomoko placed the pokeball back into her pocket, and picked Kian up. "Good job." She said to him as he licked her face, and jumped onto her shoulders. "So where to now?"

"We should circle around and meet the others. It shouldn't be far." The two traversed the hilly area eventually coming around to the cave entrance where the others had gathered. A few of the other gym students were a little bruised and a couple were helping injured Pokemon but there weren't any serious injuries. A small truck was had a moderate number of unconscious electric types who would be shipped some distance away before being released. A quick headcount later and they regrouped and began traveling back to the gym.
"I'm sorry about how cold I was earlier. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I just thought I was going to pass this time."

Miomoko looked at everyone and their pokemon, they all looked fairly exhausted with the exception of a few; who were either, quite strong, or nearly unconscious. They began their way back to the City, "Pass? This mission? Or the psychic test before?" She asked curiously.
Kian fell asleep on Miomoko's shoulders.

(Sorry for not getting this post in earlier. I was running a bit short on time, and also I was having a hard time thinking of what to write.)
Magnemite wasn't letting up in its attacks, though to Skitty's credit, she wasn't giving up either, copying Magnemite's attacks and throwing them back at it. However, the situation seemed to have reached a stalemate. It wasn't going anywhere fast, that was for sure.
Alice nearly slapped her forehead. How could she not have though of this earlier? "Skitty, come back!" she yelled, and Skitty returned to her side, glaring at the Magnemite as Alice tossed another pokeball onto the field.
Kanghaskhan materialized from the pokeball, clearly towering over the Magnemite. The little Kangaskhan looked around curiously, but quickly disappeared into her mother's pouch. Magnemite seemed intimidated by the other pokemon, who was many times its own size. It started to prepare an attack, but stopped short as Kangaskhan approached it, staring down at the magnet pokemon. Suddenly, the little Kangaskhan poked its head up above her mother's pouch, and to Alice's great amusement, pulled a face at the Magnemite.
Alice heard Skitty practically yowling with laughter as the Magnemite beeped and buzzed in anger, not taking kindly to being mocked by a child pokemon. It started to prepare another attack, but was interrupted as the baby Kangaskhan's mother extended a paw and batted Magnemite almost gently away. Still, it was enough to send Magnemite a short way through the air before it came to a stop, still buzzing angrily but regarding Kangaskhan warily as it sparked with electricity. It seemed less confident against Kangaskhan than against Skitty. The baby Kanghaskan disappeared once more into her mother's pouch. Alice watched the Magnemite, waiting to see what it would do.

"The test. So far I haven't passed any of them. And until I can pass at least one I can't go onto the advanced classes. If only there was a precognition exam. I would be able to pass that one. ...I'm sorry. I must be boring you."
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Magnemite's magnets spun wildly as it tried to distance itself from the much larger Pokemon. "I can't say I expected this." said Arc as he came up behind Alice. It takes a lot of skill to handle a Kangaskhan. You might not even need my help." Gallade stepped out from behind his trainers back looking down at Skitty.
The magnesite locked one end onto the ceiling to stay out of Kangaskhan's reach. Sparks could be seen glowing on its other magnetic end.
((OoC: Alice's choice is a little open ended. You can either try to work around its electricity buildup and attack before it can attack or try to block or dodge the attack and fight back before it builds up more power. Or you could ask Ark for help he would certainly be willing.))

Miomoko listened to the girl speak about passing a test, "No, no. Please continue if you'd like." Miomoko had a slight idea of what she was talking about, of course, she assumed that her schooling had been slightly different than the schooling done here.

She shook her head. "It's nothing. Are you going to participate in the League Exam's tomorrow?"
((OoC: Everyone not finished with their missions has 24 hours to post before the mission ends.))

Miomoko wasn't sure if Ana really wanted to stop talking about the test, but she had changed the subject, and Miomoko wasn't about to question it. "Yeah, I was thinking about it." She had realized that she acctually had forgotten about it in all the excitement, but she was, surprisingly, looking forward to it.

Alice and Kangaskhan stared up at the Magnemite now attached to the ceiling, sparks flying around the free magnet. It was obvious it was much too high up to reach, giving Magnemite the opportunity to build up its power. Kangaskhan was glaring up at Magnemite, seemingly irritated that she couldn't reach it, but she made no move.
Alice frowned, perplexed. There was no way to get Magnemite down as far as she could see, so she could rule out getting the first strike in. They had to wait, then. "Kangaskhan, use Endure," she said. Kangaskhan gave the slightest nod of the head and her eyes glowed for a moment before she closed them, shifting her stance. There was no visible change, but Alice knew Kangaskhan would be able to take what Magnemite threw at it now. It looked like Magnemite was preparing a powerful attack. She didn't know how much it would affect Kangaskhan, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

((OoC: Normaly I wouldn't of changed the subject but I'm trying to move along a little quicker so we can go to a point where it would make sense to recruit more members.))
"You really should. I you and Eevee would do well in the little cup. It would be good practice for both of you."
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
((OoC: Try to speed things up. Don't be afraid to make some decision for the wild pokemon too. (I'm considering making a post for what Gaddwick has been up to and I'll include parts where it would have been necessary to wait for more information from the event manager.) Alice should try to capture the Magnemite in the next post. ))
Ark nodded to his Pokemon "Gallade, help them out." Gallade steped forward and positioned itself next to Kangaskhan. The electric Pokemon's eye spun for a few more seconds before releasing a large orb of electricity towards the Pokemon. Gallade's eyes flared for a moment and the electrical orb seemed to slow. A barely visible light screen could be seen blocking the attack. Its trajectory curved slightly and flew through the gap between the two defending Pokemon. There was a thunderclap and the sound of cracking cement as the orb dissipated into the ground. The Magnemite dropped to the ground, feebly floating a few inches off the ground, most of its power spent.

"You think we could do well?" Miomoko asked. She thought about it, and looked over at Kian who was napping on her shoulders.

"Thanks," Alice said with a small smile, turning her gaze back to Magnemite. Its last attack seemed to have sapped all its strength, and it floated close to the ground. Kangaskhan had her eye on it, but it made no move to attack. It didn't look like a further fight would be neccessary.
Alice produced an empty pokeball from her bag, her eyes on the Magnemite all the while; however, it still didn't move. Alice threw the pokeball, and it flew in a wide arc, before it fell downwards and collided softly with Magnemite. It split in half, and Magnemite was sucked inside in a bright white light. The pokeball's two halves rejoined and it clattered to the floor, trembling.
