Sora felt his scars start itching. They started burning, but not too painfully.... sort of....calmly. Sora shook his head. "What?" He muttered. Then he ignored it. He'd research curse scars later. "What do you plan on doing the next few days?" He asked.

"Oooh...yes I'd like that. Just a random question...have you ever been whale riding?" She started digging into her food, not realizing how strange her question sounded.

Sora blinked and leaned back. "Yes, actually. Well, not exactly whale riding. Dolphin, giant squid and shark riding is more like it. They're pretty similar. I've heard about whale riding before, though."

"Ooh squid riding! That's fun." She quipped, practically inhaling her food. She didn't realize how much she was letting her guard down. She hadn't actually talked to someone in months. "But you just HAVE to try whale riding! Oh my gosh is it ever cool!" Suddenly Lyu realized how she sounded, and slapped a hand over her mouth. "Sorry, I don't usually sound so...infantile."

Sora just smiled. "It's alright." He put down his fork as he finished his dinner. "If you want to find me, I'll be at the library." He said. Sora walked out the door and headed towards the center of town.

Lyu nodded and finished her food. Taking her dishes to the washbasin, her head started bopping to some unheard tune.

Sora sat staring hard at a sentance in the book he had found. "No....." he muttered. "That can''t be true." He looked at the next sentance. He sighed. "Well, that''s a bit of a relief."

Lyu started to sing as she walked outside, headed for the library. She let her voice lift, for once unafraid of what might hear.

Sora memorized what he read and then snapped the book shut and stuffed it abck onto its shelf. He turned and walked towards the door.

Lyu reached the library just as Sora emerged, and she stopped singing. He looked strangely pale. She looked inquisitively at him, cocking her head.

"Hmm...well you know this place better than I do I'd imagine. Tour?" She fingered her pocket self-conciously, playing with the small bag of gold coins in it.
