Saraphina rolled her eyes. "Honestly. Do you think I would trust this child with the book if I didn't think that she would use it wisely? Aneisa is a good person. I sense no desire in her to betray us."
Aneisa's eyes grew wide and she took control of her mouth again. "Of course I wouldn't! I've always admired your race, even when I didn't know that you were real. I certainly wouldn't do anything now. I WANT to help you. For Pete's sake, I risked life imprisonment for trespassing, breaking and entering, not to mention theft last night all for your kind, and this is the thanks I get. you trying to roast me alive? And I AM human, at least during the day. Why on earth would I want to harm my own kind?"
(Ummm, FYI, he's trapped in stone and dirt up to his neck. He wouldn't be able to move anything below his neck, including his wings.)

Give it to me-I'm the only one here who knows how to use it-I learned from the Archmage, I need to find Goliath She then closed her eyes and stated screaming-within moments a human version of the merged Gargress was there. She climbed out of the stone prison that was now to big for her. "I've got to have it-I've got to free the last of our clan...it's the least I can do for not being there. Goliath will hate me but hopefully he's safe along with the others-now if you'll excuse me we have to cheak the rookery for damage. She bliked twice then in Serrenedy's voice said
"Er-We'll be right back"

Alex still was still a little mad about being almost encased inside stone. "Well, how was I supposed to know any of that?! If I was to let myself be shown in public, I would have been considered a nutcase! Now, would you be a dear, and remove this stone casing?" He asked as his muscles began to ache as he tried to break the stone casing.

A well aimed hit from a lazer and he was out "Don't thank me,you souned like Goliath for a moment,but it was most likely wishfull thinking and withg that she blikked

Aneisa rolled her eyes...or at least, she would have had she been in control of her body. "What a pair we ran into, huh Sara?"
"Indeed. Now, if you two can behave yourselves, I don't see why we can't cooperate. It seems as if we're all after the same ends. But if you make me case you again, I'll make sure you don't have the gun and I'll make sure that you won't be able to get out of it either." She then turned to address Alex directly. "Now, we know why Demona wants the book. What's your purpose with it? And what's your name?"

Alex churned inside the stone, and looked to see if there was any sign of weakness on her. "I wanted that book to make sure it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands. Naturally, I can't read it, but long translations allowed me to decipher a section of the book, and it said that there are only 2 methods of releasing the gargoyles from their stone prison. One is impossible, and one is very difficult." He told her.

Aneisa raised her eyebrows. "I see. Well, if what you say is true, then I suppose I can't truly blame you. If you promise to behave yourself, I'll let you free." Raising her hand again, she let the rocks surrounding Alex fall to the ground, freeing him. "Now then. It seems we all have the same purpose: we all want to free the gargoyles, or at least, what's left of them. I don't see why we can't work together, do you?"

"There were no eggs in the rookery" Serrenedy informed them "Thanks to Demona-thir is no more rookery-we're still looking for mer mate, a big blue male, a little green male with web wings, a realy old male, and a red male-those were the ones from her clan that weren't at the castle when it fell but only her mate knows where they are" The now Gargress said. "Hey I have an idea-scince we don't know a thing about each other lets all say our human name, Garg name, fave colur, and any nicknames if we have then.-I'll go first

(I think you missed on dear. You've got Goliath, Lexington, Hudson and Brooklyn, but you missed Broadway.)
Aneisa rolled her eyes and gave a short snort of laughter. This was rather ridiculous, given the situation they were in. But if a few moments of ridiculousness was what it took to get the ball rolling, then so be it. "Aneisa. Saraphina. Blue and purple. Anie or Neisa. I'm not sure if she has any official nicknames, but I've been calling her Sara."
When she was done, she turned to Alex and raised an eyebrow as if to say 'your turn'.

(Oooookkkkkk. My bad. I went back and re-read, and yeah, the only one you missed was Bronx. My only excuse is I worked the overnight Wensday into Thursday, and I'm not used to that. My brain must have been a little out of it. sweatdrop )
Aneisa smiled and rolled her eyes at Serrenedy's enthusiasm, then laughed out loud when she proceeded to slap herself in the face. "Well, outside of the two of you, I haven't seen any other gargoyles. Well, not living ones, anyway. Of course, I don't know about you two.... or four as the case may be, but Sara and I only bonded the other day, so it's entirely possible that they're out there and we just haven't come across them yet."

Alex stretched out his wings, and sighed. "Well, of course there wouldn't be any eggs left in the rookery. The last time gargoyles were alive was in the viking era." He looked to the castle, and was still surprised at how he found Goliath. 'Apparently, we have 2 options. The first is to raise the castles of all the stone grgoyles above the clouds."

Aneisa had to agree that the male did have a point. If gargoyles had been turned to stone 1000 years ago, the chances of finding any eggs here would be rather slim.
Her eyes just about popped out of her head when he told them their first option. "Um, yeah. Since I'm thinking that would require raising at least, what, four castles, if not more. And honestly? I have no idea how we'd even raise one. So, what's the second option. And Serrenedy has a point, bud. We've both told about ourselves, it's only fair that you tell us about yourself," She smiled.

Alex just looked to the group, and sighed. "My name is Alex, and I feel like that's all I need to tell. We have work that needs to be done." He said as he unfurled his wings, and looked to the moon.
