"She actually is quite pretty," Grim said as he finally got a chance to see her face. She had already began to turn and leave, but Grim had gotten a chance to see her face. Suddenly hearing the click of a pin, Grim got up and looked down the lane through his good eye. "G'job Lolli." he said as he smiled those pearly whites. "That's an improvement, now try and go for for another pin and another." He sat back down and looked through his pocket. He had a couple dollars left, but that would either be for bus fair or to get another slushie on his way back home. He stomach growled, he was hungry all right...But how would he get something to eat? He sat for a moment, thinking about how to.

"She has the face of a frog, and hair like straw." She said, glaring at the dumb girl that had tried to seduce poor innocent Grimmy. "Don't let her trick you."
Than came the rumbling in his tummy. "Your're hungry?" Stroking an imaginary beard, she tried to think of something yummy. "Birds eat worms, and cows eat grass..Grimmy eats fruit. Much like a fruit bat." Pointing out the obvious. "Grimmy needs fruit!" She almost yelled out.
"Now.. Fruit is sold in little boxes.. little boxes filled with fruit... fruity little boxes.. uhmm.. Grocery store~!.. No to far away.. far away fruit.. close fruit.. pink fruit.. Are their any pink fruit? Cherries are kind of pink.. More of red.. " She trailed off into a more misleading tangent, forgetting that Grim was hungry.

Trying to keep up with her rambling, Grim only caught the last bit of her statements. "Well, Strawberries are pink...Are so are Papayas when made into a drink." Grim thought for a moment as he taste buds lingered and called for the refreshing taste of sweet once more. "Darn it! I need something sweet to drink!" he thought as he darted his eyes back and fourth in a confusing manner. His last resort was to turn to the Snack bar across the bowling alley. He was too lazy to make a run for it and asking Lolli would be rude. "Hmmm..." he thought aloud as he pushed the mustard bang out of his good eye.

"Papayas?" Flabbergasted, she had never heard of such a disgusting sounding fruit.
She face palmed. "You were thirsty, right?" Scanning, she looked over at the snack bar clerk, who has lazily cracking his knuckles.
"I have some dollars. I can pay." She poked his nose, and told him to pause. "I'll be right back!"
Cheerfully, she skidded off toward the direction of the beverages.
"Do you have any fruit?" Her face in utter seriousness.
"Nah."
"You sure?"
He nodded.
"Uhm. What about that sign?" She pointed to one that had pictures of fruit on it.
"That's for Icees. Y'know.. Flavor?"
"Ooohhmm." She bit her lower lip, thinking hard.
"Can you put the Flavor in a soda?"
He looked confused.
'He likes fruit, and fruit is a flavor, and I like Soda. So maybe he'd like fruit flavored soda.'
"Like Papaya. Can you put a papaya flavor in a soda?"
"I don't got no papaya."
He started to look agitated.
"What about Strawberries? Strawberry soda?"
He had never had an order like this one, but he didn't complain any further.
"Clear soda please! So you can see the pink."
He grumbled, but he mixed the drink, and handed it to her.
Picking up the Styrofoam cup, she placed a wad of crumpled bills and pennies in it's place.
Eager to give it to Grimmy, she ran back to their stolen lane and forgot about getting her change.

Before she could even twitch to prevent Lolli from going, she was already halfway there. He sighed miserably as he hated people having to do this for him. Reclining back in his chair he stared around the lot. His stomach gurgled with the anticipation of fruit and he quickly lodged his hands up at it. "Thank youuuuuu so much Lolli!" he replied smiling at the drink.

She nodded. Soda wasn't food, but it was the next best thing. Because it was the only other option than going hungry.
Helping was one of the few things she did okay, so it only made sense that she leapt at the opportunity.
"Your'e welcome!" She gave him two congratulatory thumbs-up.

Feeling like his sister's said name, Greed, Grim drank down the drink as it fizzed and sputtered in his mouth. One chug was all he needed to finish it entirely and rest his mouth and stomach. Smiling with satisfaction he grew tiresome. "Shall we play a real game of Bowling?" he asked with a satisfied smile upon his face.

"A real game?" She felt kind of dissed. "You mean we've been playing a fake game?" Furrowing her brow, she pouted. "And games this like is stupid." She stuck out her tongue in disaproval. "I'd rather get my belly pierced."

"Mmmmhmmm," replied Grim to Lolli. He curved his legs up and just smiled. "You can always get the later." he said sounding like a father shooing off the choices of his daughter. "Besides, if you want it done. Grim can always do it for you."

Lolli pondered about how well she'd look pierced. "I think it'd make me pretty." She clasped her fist. "What do you pierce with?" She asked. "A knife?"

"Mm, I think they use something like a..." Grim thought for a moment trying to find a word to describe the machine. "Something like a 'poker' to get a hole in. I think I knife could hurt...too much."

Again she pulled at a lock of her hair, this time from the back. She remembered and read off her 'To-Do list' in the back of her mind, "There's putting holes in an ice-skating rink, being loud in a library, petting the pigeons in the park, poking holes in our bodies, or finishing bowling." The emphasis on bowling was that of a wince.
"Anything sound fantastic? Or do you still want me to pick?"

"Take you pick off you list." he yawned in kind of a bored manner. The day had whisted away, he thought as he found company to enjoy it with. "Entertaining..." he thought as he stared up at the ceiling.
