I see what you're saying but I don't think the people making Smallville are racist.. I mean it's just coincidence.
There were maybe just more white actors avaiable? xp
That just happens to be the storyline. No one's racist..
I mean they don't have to purposely fosu on making sure that all the characters all turn out 50% bad and 50% good... There was less asian actors and less black actors... So they died... I mean, most the other characters died too... xp
My opinion and I stand by it. 3nodding

I agree with you. What if it were white slaves who were freed? Then everytime something happened to a white man it would be racism... stare
And, no, I'm not a racist. My best friend was black. So don't ask.

I am racist at times. I admit it but it isn't like I am going to go all Hitler on another race.

Yeah, well smallville isn't doing that either. i mean they have made altercations of original comic characters in order to divey up thediversity on the show.

It's not necissarily bad. I get racist sometimes at the mexican workers who come illegaly into san diego and take a whole load of jobs and stuff. then don't even bother to learn our language. stressed

It's okay to be like that sometimes. everyone is, I guess. What I meant by not racist was like KKK "git outta town, color boy" kinda think. I want to b***h slap people like that... stare

It makes me sick to know that here in michigan there are still KKK members lingering around.

its all about the setting of the area. b4 it was in a rural area of kansas in which a majority is white. in metropolis there are some diverse ppl in the crowd who pass by once in a while, but they arent part of the main story line

Yeah, i guess its how obsessed you are with race and stuff to actually notice things like this. I just think that WAY too much thought is being put in this.

What do you mean, Smallville's racist... There is a Canadian, an Asian and a Kryptonian... True, they're short an African American and as obveouse as it is that Smallville doesn't like black people. They didn't write him out of the series to get rid of the black man. They did it because the actor playing Pete Ross, wanted to do other things besides Smallville...

-end of mindless rant-

It wouldn't hurt to have more racial diversity, I want it cause it would probably make the show more intresting; but I'm not mad that their isn't.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 16, 2006 2:43 pm

But there IS racial diversity, as in more minor characters, but really who can they really add to the cast as of more racial diversity? Unless they bring back Pete (unlikely by the way) there is no one in the near future who will be having a main appearence with racial diversity

I don't really care if no one reads this, but I think this needs to be said:

Yes, all those things are true, regardless of the fact that you got a bazillion names wrong. But, seriously, give me a break. I am Indian (Hindu) and I absolutly love Smallville. But it's pretty much the same in every country. The magority of a countrys' movies are gonna be based on that particular cultural. For instance, there are practically no American movies in India. So? Doesn't exactly qualify as racist to me.

I think you should recheck your facts, and try to see it in a different perspective, rather than being a loser and just looking at it so narrow mindedly. I mean, I disagree with you, but atleast I am willing to look in your point of you.

Hey i read it. And i am quite confused as to one point. Are you talking to the person who made the thread?
