"Eat, sleep." Yuu yawned, his jaw making a loud cracking sound when he did. "Oh, gross. Sorry. Ah, if you're lucky, you can find a group of idiots and make friends, so at least you're not alone in the boredom. Then there's always games. I've got an Xbox 360, but I don't play it much. Too busy with those first two." He got a goofy smile on his face. "Ah, sleep; my first and love."

"The hell you say!" He said indignantly. "You're either crazy or insane if you think so. Sleep is second only to food. Unless you're dreaming about food. Then it's a tie." It was fairly obvious what Yuu's main interests were, and a wonder he was in such good shape, considering.

Definitely me. "Mmm, never mind. That was one of those ignore-able bits. Excercise is all well and good, providing it doesn't in any way involve me. I fear I'm a bit lazy when it comes to physical exertion. Are you into the whole excercising thing? Hope you didn't want to room with an athletic type, 'cause that I am most definitely not, if I can help it." Yuu stood up and stretched his arms out in front of his, arching his back to get the benefit of maximum stretchyness. "Have you looked around ampus much yet, Akiyama-kun? If you want, I can show you around a bit, if you're bored enough." He offered.

Ryu stepped onto her 'new destiny', her short purple hair floating in the breeze. Her amber eyes glinted in the sunlight, turning a cat yellow. They checked out her new home-to-be.
It looked pretty shabby to her.
Oh sure, it was big. Reeeally big. But it was badly made. She already missed her all-girls school. Well, that was filled with squealing, gossiping, lipgloss-applying girls. Girls who only cared about 'fitting in' and 'being popular' and 'looking sexy'. "I mean, what the hell?! If they care about that, then they should go somewhere else! My youngest sister is smarter than them, and she's just starting middle school!" Ryu did miss her little sisters. Well, one of them. The other one was just a blond b****. But Sakura was an adorable 12 year old, starting 7th grade. She wished she could have watched her sister go into middle school...
Ryu had drifted veeery deep into her mind and only snapped out of it when a skateboarding dude fell right into her.
"Oh, hey man. Jeez, I'm sorry. Lemme help you up." The guy had auburn brown hair, green eyes, and an outfit that was completely gray and orange. Ryu raised an eyebrow. "Weird." She took his outstretched hand and pulled herself up, almost pulling him down.
"Thanks." She said in an uncaring voice.
"Eh, no problem. What's your name? I've never seen you before. And you were totally spacing out."
"...I'm Ryu. And you?"
"Oliver. I'm told it's a weird name. I moved from America a while back."
"Did you like it there?"
"Not really. We had an a*****e for a president. The only good thing about him was that we could make fun of him."
Ryu looked at him strangely, then broke down into gasps of laughter. She wasn't sure why she was laughing so hard at such a basic joke. Maybe it was because she hadn't laughed in so, so long...
