Seto was quite ready for the test, as he always was. In this case, he needn't have bothered to glance at the text himself. Though it was certain the others did not know, as they were gone and it had been kept out of the news, he had lost consciousness when they traveled into Atem's past, and he had fallen into his alter-ego.
It had been a rather strange experience, as the whole time he had forgotten all about his second life as Kaiba Seto, CEO, and had simply reverted to being an ancient priest.
All his actions seemed to have a strange sort of reverbrance at the time, which had been making his a great more irritated than he usually was most of the time. The actions were natural, and yet a copy at the same time.
But once he had returned, he remembered all that- meaning that all his studying as priest had given him a memory of past Pharaohs.
He'd still had to study the ones following Atem's reign, but that hadn't been to hard.
He sighed to himself as he reflected on how most of what he'd just thought had been about Atem, either directly or indirectly. Even the bit about Yugi, Jou and the followers. He grumbled to himself, running his fingers through bangs that fell into place again immediately afterwards.

Feeling eyes on him, Yugi glanced up to Ryou, and smiled softly, his ''don''t worry about me, I''ll be ok'' smile. He didn''t want to trouble his friends..... He glanced around the room. It was still very early, and not many people were there....
He paused, eyes on Seto. It was strange.... Yugi couldn''t put his finger on it, but..... there seemed like there was something different about the brunette.....
.... or maybe this whole thing was just driving Yugi crazy. He sighed quietly, looking at his book again. Besides, if he was going to distract himself, he at least should do it to something RELATED to the book, right?
Yugi''s head was lowered, golden bangs covering brilliant amethyst eyes, thus hiding the slightly glazed, inward-turned veil that fell over him.
*Once again, Yugi receeded to his soul room, and looked up at the door, hand pressed lightly against it. He had done this more and more recently, but.... he closed his eyes. He could feel, hear, something behind him.... something like Atemu....
Was it his own memories of him that was doing this? Atemu was gone, Yugi knew it, yet....
....yet he was there. It felt so real; as if.... Yugi slowly opened the door.... and stared. It couldn''t be. But it was.... there, as it had always been.
The ancient, intricate door to Atemu''s soul.... stepping forward, Yugi pressed a hand against it. "Atemu...?" He found himself murmuring. Perhaps, he was wrong, but.... Slowly, Yugi opened the door....*
(*=happening inside Yugi''s sould room. :3)

((Yey I'm finally back! Just in time to go to school tomorrow stare . But I'm a little confused. How many days have we skipped?))
Onuris pondered the question for a moment. "Hmm, yes, I suppose something should be done...and I think I know exaclt what to do." A barely visible smirk crossed his normally emotionless face as he shifted his gaxe momentarily to Atemu, "That would be an excellent test to see how he performs on the field, don't you think? Find this person for me immediately. I want to know who they are, where they are and anything else about them you can find."

Ryou just shook his head. He knew Yugi wasn't fine, he was just trying to hide again.
White-haired and skinny, there we go, perfect target. Whoop de fricking doo. Things were steadily sucky right now, screw the test, he wasn't even going to take it.
"Screw school," he muttered quietly, marking in the pupils of Bakura's eyes darkly.

((Um, from now on, Yugi will be in purple, and anything else will be in black. I''ll edit my old posts and stuff too. Hopefully, that''ll make things easier. x3
As for time.... um, two days- the day of the test.
So, after the scientist left, it''d be two days later that Yugi tried to open the soul room door. :3))
"Yes sir, immediately." The scientist replied, bowing low and dashing off.
In two days, there had been several leads.... but the most likely was sent to the CEO.
Motou Yugi, of Domino, Japan.
The file they had managed to collect on him was sent, awaiting his next orders.

Atemu was in yet another training sesson, not that he was particularly surprised by this, he had been training virtually nonstop for the passed few days. What he wanted to know was, what was he training for? Whatever it was, surely it should be taking this long. He was perfectly capable of handling nearly anything, and he felt that by now he had done enough to prove that to them. He figured that it was about time to get the show on the road.
But they were in chrage, not him.
And so, he stood once again in the observatory, which now had a new window he was forbidden to touch, practicing his magical skills. That''s when he heard it.
Atemu...?
It was extremely faint, barely even audible, but he was sure he had heard someone call his name. THe voice was young, a teenage boy. And it had called to him just as he was about to attack, distracting him and throwing off his aim. His shadows missed the target, hitting one of the enchanted mirrors(where they had gotten them, he had no idea) and ricochetting off of it. Had he been a fraction slower, he would have hit himself.
He turned around, ready to give his best glare at the least to whoever had distracted him. But there was no one else in the room. And although he couldn''t see beyond the window, he knew only authorized personel were allowed into the room, and therefore none of the people in there could have been young enough to have been the speaker. Any doubt of it he had was erased by the fact that he didn''t sense the aura of a teen anywhere in the facility, let alone the other room.
He decided that his mind had been playing tricks on him. Perhaps he was overtired from training so excessively.

Onuris was scanning through the email that had just been sent to him. The most likely candidate to have solved the millenium puzzle was a young Yuugi Moutou, sixteen years old living in Domino, Japan, and attending the city's local public high school. He inspected the teens picture. At least he would not be to difficult to locate. And, by the looks of him, he would be no problem for Atemu to take care of. The task was easy, but there was no reason to overdue it, this would be the first time he would have to function in public.
He pressed the button on his intercom, "Get a plane and Atemu ready immediately. He's going to Domino, Japan to complete his first task. I want him on his way as soon as possible."
Yes sir.

For a second, Yugi thought he caught a glimmer of something, some sort of emotion.... but all too quickly it was gone. He sighed softly, resignedly closing the door. In all likelihood, this was just the result of his desperate desire to be with his other half again. Sadly, he returned to his soul room, and, in reality, opened his eyes.
He looked around, and, seeing class still hadn't started, stared back down at his book.
Well, at the least, he shouldn't fail.... he knew quite a bit because of how he struggled to make up for his lack of attention by staring down the book daily.
The plain was stocked with personell, gas, and any items that may be needed during the trip, saving the last bits for setting up luxurious accomidations for the Onuris, and at last escourting him and Atemu into the plain.
They would arrive late the next night, he was informed.

Atemu sat in the plane anxiously awaiting his arrival at wherever it was he was going. The location didn't really matter to him, after all, this was exactly what he wanted. He seemed like no sooner had he been wishing to get out of training and into the real world, that the scientists had come in and informed him of his departure. Go figure.
He looked over at Onuris. They were in the same compartment, but neither had spoken a word since they had gotten on the plane. Onuris simply sat there, back erect and face stoic. That seemed to be how he always was, serious and devoid of any physical show of emotion. The man seemed to remind him of someone, though he wasn't sure who. There seemed to be a lot of things he wasn't sure of.
"Sir...?" He asked, finally breaking the silence.
"Onuris shifted his gazed toward him. "Yes, Atemu?"
"May I ask where we are going? And why? This seems rather sudden-"
"We are going to Domino, Japan. As to why we are going, you will be given more information once we arrive." He replied, his tone clearly stating he wasn't interested in conversing any farther.
Domino, Japan. Well, that was certainly far away from Egypt. Whatever they were about to do had to be of great importance.

((Hi, I'm back. For starters, sorry for being so long. Turns out I didn't end up going camping, so I stayed home and could've posted, except the internet stopped working the day that I was supposed to leave for camping. So I couldn't post. It just started working again today, so here I am. Sorry again, but it looks like you guys didn't get too far ahead, so that's good. ^^))
Jounouchi made his way into the classroom. Though he hadn't studied too well, he felt very cheerful. He had ever since Shizuka had run away from their mother and came to Domino. He didn't want Shizuka to be in his dingy appartment, so she had been staying with Anzu. ((hope you guys don't mind, since no one's playing Anzu anyway. If we don't find someone to play her, can I play her just to make things simpler with Shizuka? I wouldn't make her a main character, but I'm pretty sure no one's playing her)) He would hang out with his little sister all day, becoming much closer to her than he was during Battle City, if that was at all possible. "Good morning Yuugi, Bakura." he smiled. "Ready for the test? I guess I'm not too prepared, but I don't think I'm going to pass this class anyway." He noticed how glum Yuugi and Bakura appeared and decided to change the subject, "By the way, I'm going to be able to afford my own appartment soon, so if things work out, Shizuka will be able to live with me! Isn't that great?"

((Yeah go for it. Not many people like Anzu, so I find it doubtful we'll get someone to play her anyway. ^^;;
But... your taking on lots of characters! I dont mind, but are you sure you're alright with that? heart ))
Yugi blinked, looking up at Jounouchi. He smiled at him, hugging his friend happily. "That's great, Jounouchi!" He grinned up at him. "We'll have a moving in party!" He smiled, hoping such a thing would raise everyones spirit.
He couldn't help but feel guilty- he knew he was bringing everyone down, and he really didn't want to....

((Yes, it's awsome! I think the super long wait was worth it. Anyway, I don't mind taking on three characters, because Shizuka doesn't talk much and since she can't partake in yaoi, she won't be used as much as the other characters. As for Anzu, I know I'd ruin her character, so I won't be using her much. ^^ It's all good. Anzu will be written in blue from now on.))
Jounouchi smiled, "Thanks guys, but lets not start planning a party yet. Just because I can afford an appartment doesn't mean it's going to be easy to find a good one. Anyway, I also need to eventually call Kaa San and tell her where Shizuka is. That won't be fun... but then I'd need to get custody of Shizuka, which is near impossible." Jounouchi suddenly felt bad realizing he had brought the mood down again. He had tried not to think about dealing with his mom the whole time but it just kind of came out when he was talking to Yuugi and Bakura.
Anzu walked into the classroom shortly after that, "Good morning guys! Looks like I arrived late if Jounouchi and Yuugi are already here." she said with a wink. "So, did you guys study hard over the weekend? Sorry I couldn't join you."

Yugi frowned, before hugging Jounouchi happily. "Don't worry, Jounouchi, I'm here for you. I'm sure you'll find a way to work things out...."
He looked up at Anzu walked into the room. "Good morning Anzu! How was dance practice?" He asked, as that was what had kept her from studying with him. Besides, he didn't want to bring her down by admitting how poorly it went, based only on the subject....
At that moment, however, the teacher came in, calling the class to oder, and the test started.
Apparently, all the studying made up for Yugi's distraction; he knew almost all the questions, and actually felt he did fairly well....

Jounouchi was surprised at how easy the test was, 'Heh, "need to study names of pharoahs" my a**. I'm going to kill Honda for making me so paranoid about this test.' Maybe Jounouchi would pass the class after all... 'I hope everyone else is having as easy of a time as I am with this... except Honda...' he thought with a smile.
