Jarred hugged her back, squeezing. "You know you wanted to be saved. And they haven't killed me yet, have they?" Jarred grinned, though Sara didn't respond.
He whipped his PDA out. "I got even better. Lemme see it." He said, pulling a cable out of the PDA's side.
/20% capabilities Sara's voice sounded from the PDA, quieter than usual.
"I know I know, I only need you for a minute."

Pen held out her arm and closed her eyes, assuming he was going to do something such as blow it off. "Just make it quick, please."

"Umm...O.k." Jarred said, not exactly sure what she was talking about. He found the port he was looking for, and plugged his PDA in. It took a bit longer than usual, but his PDA beeped, and then powered down. He returned the cord and PDA.
"There you go, Pen. It's effectively been shut down to nothing but movement. No trackers, no bombs, no nothin. Just a metal grip."
Arch watched the process, eyeing the PDA.
"Huh, ah thihnk ah maiwght baih sohme mahwr stahwck. Seihms Bahwdehn's taihkin 'yeh 'uhmahns pretteh faiwhr."

Pen peeked open an eye. "You're not taking it off?" She pulled her arm back and moved it around some, before pulling the glove back on.
Ora leaned against the wall of the ship, and chuckled. "I need to take ten years or so to get more accustomed to technology. I keep missing out on the new toys when visiting other worlds."
Their conversations were interupted at the sound of a little girl's voice. "See? Told you so." At the end of the hall, Haldis stood with Lux, and a large group of Kore soldiers behind him.
Lux chuckled, and then began to laugh. "Oh if this isn't a lovely reunion.

"Nah, no need. It's a nice job, just got too many traps. Figure just turn 'em off till I can get 'em removed." Jarred shrugged, smiling.
Arch raised an eyebrow.
"Fehrawr?" Arch laughed. "Ahwl beh daihmnehd, ahwld dawhg, hehwl yeh doihn 'eah?" Arch was laughing, the picture of mirth, but his hand stayed firm on his rifle, his finger riding the trigger.
"s**t! It's the damned voodoo kid!" Jarred said, spinning around, flak cannon at the ready.

Lux gave Ruby a wink, which led her to kind of shrink behind Arch. "Same old same old, Lannen, I play with mortals and they screw me over." His eyes fell on Ora, and they narrowed slightly. "Haldis, I suggest you hide."
His eyes moved to Jarred and Pen and he chuckled a bit more, "Ah, I see where this is going now. And as all of you are aware, your plans conflict with mine, and so someone is going to have to be leaving unsatisfied, no?"
Lux, pressed a button on a device hanging against his ear. "Derek, if you please."
At his word a few turrets lowered from the cieling above them, although instead of firing bullets, a green colored gas shot out. Lux's men casually placed a small device in their nostrils, Lux didn't bother, being more or less unaffected by the poison.

"Suhmohne shuht 'ihm." Arch growled, his wings bursting form his back. His wing span filled the area they were in, and when he began flapping, it sent the gas shooting down a separate hallway. He took the opportunity to start shooting out the turrets.
Jarred, after realizing: 'oh. Wings.' Turned his Flak Cannon on Lux, sending a shot down the hallway after him.

Ora grabbed Ruby and pushed her to the ground, away from any gas residue. Lux blinked to the side, it was one of the powers he could still use. A good number of his men, however, were a less lucky and were ripped to pieces by the flak. "How's the book, Lannen? A good read?"
The turrets although shot up, were still leaking a good amount of gas. "Arch, that gas touches her and you know what happens, we need out of here now." Ora said, trying to shelter Ruby.
"Shoot them in return." Lux said to the men behind him. They took aim and fired. But the bullets plinked off of a doorway, torn from the wall and hovering in front of them. Pen's control of the door wavered slightly, before she tossed it towards the men and their guns.

"Ahwl giht 'ehr bahck tah ******** spun, falling, catching a bullet to the chest. He managed to fire a few pistol rounds over at the guy shot him, making him duck or cover.
He tried to stand, but fell down to his hands, coughing up blood.
"Mm, lung." He grunted.
"Ora, wehl fahwl bahck tah yehr shihp. Wehl deahwl wiht theh kihd'hn Lux lateh."

Pen's eyes went pure silver for a brief moment, and the soldier who happened to shoot Jarred, flew up into the air and began to ram into a wall repeatedly.
Ora nodded, and had to pull Pen back towards the group and away from smashing the hell out of the soldier, where she could grab onto Jarred as well, and blink the three of them back to the Star's Light.
She assumed Arch would take Ruby.

As they got back on, Eric was swearing repeatedly as the footage of Jarred getting shot got to him.

((I had a post with Eric ******** with the Haze, being as I thought we were above the Erebus and get everyone off without folks getting shot up. I submitted the post and saw that you responded, with Jarred getting shot. I was disgruntled.))
