No one ever really questioned why Teddy didn’t enjoy pokemon. They just quickly took offence and that’s when the arguing began. Teddy always strived to be different, so disliking pokemon sure made him different. Everyone in school had them, and there were many classes that involved the creatures. Yet he managed to dodge it all. Coming up with excuses and allergies.
“Why would I be afraid of those ugly things? They run around pooing, and doing…things! I’ll just continue with my modeling career. I don’t need pokemon. “
Yet another lie. Lately they’ve been asking for him to do a few photoshoots with Houndberry. Such a fierce pokemon with a pretty face. People would ‘prolly love him even more.

Ridley quirked an eyebrow across the table, glancing sidelong at Liam. "If that's what you want, I guess nobody can stop you," he shrugged. "I've always wanted a Pokemon since I was a kid. Everyone else had one growing up, brought them to classes and everything," Ridley reminisced, sounding a little wistful. "Not having one, I kind of felt like an outsider sometimes."

"To each their own."
Liam lowered his eyes, not looking at Ridley this time, instead looking out the window over his shoulder. It was a few moments before he looked back at the two, a small smile tugging the corner of his lips.
"I know the feeling. There wasn't a pokemon center in my town for a long time. Or rather, there was, but it just wasn't practical to go to. Only the trainers headed over there... when trainers DID come through our town. Most of the time they'd just call me to come help them," Liam paused, resting his chin on his fist again, "Taking care of everyone else's pokemon was nice, but it's not the same as having your own, you know?"

" Oh welllll! I'm sorry that I can't relate with your sadness. I shall enjoy my life of non pokemon, and become super rich and famous. " Teddy said laughing nervously after. He glanced down at his tote, which carried the poor houndoom.
Teddy went back to his old self and allowed his imagination to go wild. Even though he already had the rich part down he still managed to think of stuff. Night clubs, glamorous parties. The works! Super hot lover, so they could be deadly beautiful together. Teddy had planned it all!
" I wonder when that ugly girl will come. I want my desert already. " Teddy was getting impatient, leaning over Liam to look for any signs of the waiter.

"I definitely know what you mean," Ridley agreed with Liam, remembering playing with friends' Pokemon when he was younger.
Ridley missed the glance at the tote, too busy looking for the waitress. He was enjoying getting to know these two, but he had bigger fish to fry at the moment, and wasn't sure how late would be catastrophically late.
The girl was balancing all of their food on one tray, the look on her face suggesting she'd heard what Teddy had said. She set it down on the table and handed out their plates, not looking at him.
When she'd gone, Ridley looked across the table at Teddy. "She's awfully patient. I wouldn't push my luck if I were you," he grinned, teasing him. "Not everyone can be so tragically beautiful as yourself."

Liam grabbed his icecream and stuck a large spoonful in his mouth, looking like he might about to have a problem for a moment before pulling it free, swallowing the strawberry substance.
"Mmm...<3" Liam crooned to himself, sticking the spoon back in the bowl, digging it out again, "If I were you, I'd be afraid to eat that cake." Liam glanced at Teddy, smiling slightly.
He had caught the look at the bag. But Liam was discrete. All he did was give Teddy a knowing look, eyes sparkling slightly.

" Whatever. She was 'prolly to nervous to do anything to it. I shall eat it with great confidence. " Teddy didn't waist any time. When he was able to enjoy a sweet snack he made sure to get it all. He accidentally forgot his dinning manners and looked like a fool. The brownie was gone in two bites and he was already getting started on the cake.
" This is really...!!!! "
Teddy reached for his cup of tea after a chunk of cake refused to go down. To his surprise the tea was far from warm, but extremely hot. Teddy led out a yelp after swallowing, his green eyes becoming blurry with tears.
" She is so mean! "

Ridley rolled his eyes at the other two's enthusiasm, choosing to savor his pie. He laughed at Teddy and tried not to watch Liam sucking on that spoon.
"I would say that you deserve it, but for some reason I think that'd be mean," he grinned.

"If that's all she did, I'd count myself lucky if I were you~" Liam half sung, sticking the spoon in his mouth. Glancing at Ridley, he watched the boy eat his pie for a moment before sliding the spoon out of his mouth again, grinning.
"How's your pie?"

Teddy slowed down after his tongue being burnt, the sensation still lingering. Bring the cup of tea close to his mouth he began to blow, hoping for it to cool down soon. While he did this he made sure to look at both of his new friends, actually examining them this time. He didn’t try to be sneaky with his staring, but made it awkwardly obvious. Ridley seem to be the oldest, and the tallest of all three of them.
Well, it was obvious that they were both older; especially by the way they talked about the past. That factor only pleased Teddy, since he did have a ‘thing’ for older guys.

Ridley nodded his head, waiting until he swallowed his mouthful to answer. "Goddamn delicious. How about your icecream?" he returned, his eyes on Liam's mouth.
Then he suddenly became aware of someone staring at him, the hairs on the back of his neck prickling, and he looked over at Teddy, meeting his eyes.
"...what?" Ridley blinked, looking down at himself to make sure he hadn't dropped anything on his jacket, and more importantly that the R wasn't showing.

Liam grinned, swirling his spoon in the bowl before plucking it out again, licking the pink glob on the end. "Practically orgasmic," he replied, sticking it in his mouth again.
Liam didn't laugh when Ridley looked over at Teddy, feeling his eyes on the two of them. Instead, he closed his eyes and pretended that Teddy wasn't staring at them. He refused to act intimidated. Why? Because he wasn't. Let the boy look. Ridley however, was looking exceptionally guilty.
Licking his lips, Liam finally glanced over at the younger boy, quirking an eyebrow and grinning slightly, eyes questioning.

“I was just looking you guys over. Just to check if there were any flaws. Ya know? But I haven’t found any. Which is a first, shocker huh?”
Teddy gave them a cute little smile, not showing his teeth this time. Surprisingly he was calming down, the need to impress going back to its normal level. He enjoyed putting on a show for everyone in the beginning, but it was hard to maintain it for too long. Leaning back, he look down at his clothing cleaning off any crumbs and fixing anything awkward looking. This reminded him he needed to do his usual mirror check. So into the tote bag he went, finding the mirror and quickly opening it up to stare.
“ Hmmmmm….So tell me about yourselves a bit. “ Teddy spoke into the mirro.

Ridley almost blushed but held himself in check, choosing not to acknowledge what Liam said. Instead he raised an eyebrow at Teddy and contemplated smacking him. He was such a little brat, but Ridley couldn't bring himself to put him in his place. Just like a girl.
"What if I don't want to?" he asked impishly.

Oh Ridley. The pink haired boy grinned, extending the spoon full of strawberry icecream (that he had already licked) towards the other. "Want to try some?" He asked, his voice low.
He was about to tease him more when Teddy finished his cake and asked something Liam didn't catch, and the healer stopped, his full attention now on Teddy, but not for what he said. Liam blinked, watching Teddy pull a mirror out of his tote bag and stared for a minute as the boy primped, trying desperately not to burst out laughing. Damn, that was funny. Not Teddy himself... just... it was so hard to explain. There was something about a boy who looked like a girl taking out a mirror LIKE a girl that just made Liam want to tease him. As a matter of fact, he couldn't hold back.
Leaning to the side, Liam glanced in the mirror for a moment before flicking his eyes over at the boy, smirking and pointing at some vague location. "You missed a spot."
