Wrong, Portia! My real name IS actual Sssargon (I have documents!)
i. was false. I captured the snake in high school xp

Afire, I'm gonna guess that i. is incorrect, because it would be really difficult to still have all the stuffed animals. (Though my second guess would be iii.)

i. I know how to use a sextant, and have done so before.
ii. I have carved and treated my own bow. It doesn't shoot as well as a professional one, but I can still hit the target.
iii. I know how to gut, skin, and tan an animal, but have yet to do it.

Actually, Sssargon, I do still have all of my stuffed animals. My room and closet are a veritable menagerie. Your second guess was correct- while I do posses issues with the practicality of crowd-surfing, it's hardly an aversion. I simply have yet to be a member of a crowd which I trust. (And I would be incredibly interested in knowing your parents though process when naming you. 0.o)

For some reason I can't explain, two and three seem to go hand in hand. (Perhaps you're overly fond of the Hatchet series?) My guess would be that you have not actually used a sextant.

i. I am one of the few people in town to sell "happiness in a bag", without (intentionally) selling drugs.
ii. As such, I love my job.
iii. Before this job, I worked as a roadie for my mother's pirate band.

Actually, my parents didn't name me that. They're too boring. I'll make this next three statements about my name though XD
Also, I thought iii might be false because while there are many practical aversions to crowd surfing, I imagine it still being fun mrgreen And WOW...all of them? I'm impressed.

And, nope mrgreen I have used a sextant. Possibly the coolest tool I've ever touched. You can flick a lens down and look right into the sun, and it's just a small red circle. It's sweet. ii. was actually false. I have a handmade bow a coworker made and gave me, but it's not actually made right (though I really appreciate the gift, but don't want to break it by using it too much). I plan on making my own before too long, but haven't yet.
I've never read Hatchet though sad

Also, I guess that i. is false, as I'm not sure how you accidentally sell drugs. I think you either do or don't? question And mother in a pirate band is too cool for me to want it to be false.

i. My first name used to be Keri, after the lotion Keri, because my father said he couldn't remember how to spell Carrie or Kareigh like my mother wanted, so why not just spell it after something in the house.
ii. S is my first name, S is my middle name, and Sargon is my last name.
iii. I chose to be called Sssargon after Sargon II, ancient king of Assyria, but I like the letter S, so I added a couple.

I'm going to guess that number three is the lie, on the principle that one and two are so ridiculous that they must be true.

1. The dark spot on my wrist is not, in fact, a birthmark, but an allergic reaction to a spiderbite I got in second grade.
2. I do tarot readings, but my deck has mysteriously disappeared.
3. I read my favourite book (Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett) three times in the month before I lent it to my best friend, and I already want to read it again.

Correct-o Protigal! I picked my name out of a (I'm now ashamed to admit) mediocre fantasy book I read in middle school. Liked the name, and it stuck with me. Though I am glad there was actually a king too XD

My guess is number three is the lie. I bet you read it more than that - I've heard it's quite a good book.

i. I have a spreading black mark on my upper gum from where a friend launched a pencil into the air in elementary school (14 years ago) and got the tip of graphite lodged in there.
ii. I have broken the last joint in my right pinky finger so many times (at least eight) that it has now healed as a ball of bone. The first and second time I broke it was playing rugby.
iii. Back in middle school I was trying to ride a unicycle in my garage and ended up falling into my brother's meat-grinder and cut my right Achilles tendon (though not on the grinding bits).
PostPosted: Sat Jul 12, 2008 4:23 pm

Correct, Sssargon! It was, in fact, four times in the two weeks before I lent it away. If you haven't read it yet, do so. It is a magnificent book, simultaneously hilarious and epic. And the Apocalypse is always fun.

...eew. Sorry, injuries do not sit well with me. I'm going to guess one, on the basis that I can think of no reason it would spread.

1. I am a major Whovian (fan of the show Doctor Who, if you didn't know) and own a book which includes all the shooting scripts for New Series season one.
2. I love the musical Cats.
3. One of my aspirations is to be old enough to audition if and when they decide to make a film of Wicked.

Sorry 'bout the minor gore sweatdrop
One is actually correct. I'm not sure why, but the graphite has faded a bit and spread out over my gum, and I think will continue to do so. Dentists said it was harmless, but if I didn't want a black mark, they could graft some skin from my butt onto my gum. Eww. No thanks. (was my answer)

iii. was false. My friend Si-Si did that, into her father's grinder.

I'm going to guess two is false for you. I know a lot of people who like Who and Wicked, but no one that likes Cats.

i. I sometimes slip into an Irish accent when I'm singing.
ii. The first thing I did after getting out of the bus in Scotland was explore the outside of the hotel and get stuck full of nettles.
iii. I have stuck my hand down a stranger's kilt.

Correst again, Sssargon! Cats is heresy, you don't defile T.S. Eliot like that.

I'll guess two-- perhaps the first thing you did was sleep off the jetlag?

1. I'm vegetarian.
2. I love chocolate.
3. I have a bad habit of forgetting to eat.

I didn't know Cats had anything to do with TS Eliot... eek I loved The Wasteland...

And correct, but it wasn't sleep. The first thing I did was jump in the lake behind the hotel full clothed. And it was freezing. In July. The coldest water I've ever been in, I swear. And I've swam in the Atlantic during Thanksgiving.

My guess for you is also two. Just because it would be more interesting if you hated chocolate.

i. I've fallen asleep while attending Stomp
ii. My strongest memory of the Beauty and the Beast musical was getting lost on the way back from the bathroom during intermission and seeing a guy with a blond afro.
iii. I skipped Annie Get your Gun to take a cab to Central Park with someone else from my group and hang out.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 13, 2008 6:12 pm

Correct again, good sir, I cannot stand the taste of chocolate.

T.S. Eliot wrote a lot of poems about cats, mostly for friends, and eventually compiled them into a book called "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats". Every song but "Memories" in the musical Cats is a poem from that book, altered and put to music. As I said: Heresy.

I'll guess number one.

1. I am often asked if I am from England or (more rarely) Australia due to my accent.
2. I was once asked what college I went to when I was in seventh grade.
3. Young children tend to find me frightening.

Wow...that is heresy.

Nope, sorry. The correct answer was three. I loved Annie Get Your Gun. I also loved Stomp but good rhythmic things also put me to sleep if I'm even the list bit tired. It was quite good, hence the sleeping, but I'm sad I missed some of it.

For you, I'm guessing the lie is three. Dunno why, just a guess.

i. I was bitten by a goose while trying to catch it for dinner. Not pleasant. Did you know they have lots of little nubs on the inside of the beaks. Somewhat like teeth, but not really...
ii. I've only ever been bitten by black rat snakes - and they're the more docile of the snakes I pick up usually.
iii. I was attacked by my best friend's rottweiler when I was much younger (he tore up my hand, but was aiming for my stomach), but have never harbored any fear or ill will towards dogs, and have even jumped in the middle of a dog fight to break it up.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 14, 2008 11:33 pm

You seem to know me too well. >.> Are you stalking me? Yes, actually, kids like me for some reason. I've actually had a little girl try to follow me in the grocery once. I have no idea why.

I'll guess three.

1. I used to own a frog, but he died of a tumor.
2. I desperately want a snake, but he would scare our cat (and the lease won't allow it anyway).
3. We named our cat Minerva because she looked so wise when we bought her, but she turned out to be a total doofus.

I am going to guess #3 for you.

I. I used to have a rat that I named Mortisha Addams after the mother on the Addams Family.

II. I am a Vegan.

III. I set my clock early so I can hit the snooze button four times before waking up.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:52 am

Oh no...I'm not stalking you sweatdrop Really. That is a little creepy though.

One was actually false. I was going to try and catch it for dinner, but I got my face close enough that I could see all those "teeth", thought about it some more, and decided not to.

Nectarine - I'm guessing two is false, as I think I saw you post that you were vegetarian elsewhere in this guild, and people usually say the more specific one.

i. Back in high school I got an average of 3-5 hours sleep a night, and I miss it.
ii. Almost a week ago my bookcase fell over and broke some glass, and I still haven't picked up the glass or half the books.
iii. In high school I modified other people's old backpacks (patches, sewn on metal, etc decorations) for ten bucks.

Yep, you are correct. I am no vegan, but a wicked vegetarian cook I must say. O_Q

I will say...Number Three.

1. In the 8th grade I had a computers teacher who had to ask me how to use the computer.

2. I cosplayed as a Dark version of Vash the Stampede to the 06 Anime Expo.

3. I very much enjoy science and in fact am considering going into Biology as my field of study.
