Yeah, it would be all the characters. But you would still get a chance at claiming your characters back before anyone else can.
And here... It's not like you have much competition anyway.

It's not so much about whether your good at your character, the point in resetting the characters is to get out of this roleplaying rut and see if having a new and different character to play with would make a new and more exciting experience for everyone.
