Bhaskar laughed, partially out of his own nervousness at the grounds current actions. "Yep. A god, Muroki, is just what the lion said.." he paused and looked up at Kitwana "Which leads me to introductions, it's hard to remember such things in this weird time.. I'm Bhaskar, and this here is Muroki., I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself when you came up, but like I said- hard to think right now!" his voice came a little louder, as a large number of smaller rocks around his feet rumbled and tumbled with the earth.

(Sorry to post again so soon - should be Kireiryuu's go, right, since Ty said to skip Laini unless anyone interracted...? - but I might not be able to get online for a day or two and really...the birth isn't that important, it's just symbolism and future-cub owners would probably like them born sooner rather than later ^^;;; )
Rahima's firstborn son came smoothly, easing her pain for a few moments and at the same time as Laini's firstborn daughter. The new mother soon cleaned him up. His fur showed up white, salmon and black after a bathing by her warm tongue. Carefully, ever so gently, she moved him to her side and nuzzled his back in hope he'd feed on his own.
His sister made it known she wanted out as well soon enough. More contractions started. Suddenly glad she was only having two cubs, Rahima dug her claws into the worn grooves in the shaking ground. Her short rest was over and she didn't have time to glance over to Laini...

((*drum roll* I'm here! Even though Laana won't be probably staying around long *prods the antisocial morbid missy* she can still come >3 heart ))
She'd made it. The clatter of her bone jewelry muted over the incescent noise of the earthquake as the juvenille stumbled and rolled down the wall of the crater, giving loud and painful 'oofs' as her attire prodded into her soft young flesh and fur.
The loud roar of the earth angered her immensly, only to finnaly end up slamming onto the crater floor infront of everyone else, lions and lionesses she had never met, the foul rank smell of sweetness and afterbirth filtered her nose as she moaned painfully.
But pain didn't stop her, never had, she slowly, yet shakily made her way back to her paws and looked around, panting at the trial she had been through to get down that bloody wall.
Well...at least she now had a 'temporary' living place...giving that these lions would allow it...still, those visions of fire, ghost like figures and smoky crows still plagued her thoughts as her deep red eyes looked around.

((whoo XD!))
Nyekundu flopped in to the cold wet world unhappily, his tiny mews broke the unearthly silence that filled the area. Though the rumbling of course was making a fair amount of noise, that, to say the least was unnerving, it didn't manage to drown out the newborns cries. His eyes were tighly shut as with all new borns his ears pressed flat against his head as the rough tongue of his mother brushed the salmon pink fur washing away the cold wet feeling. At last after a nudge and a small uncomfortable roll on the stony floor he met with his mothers plush side he found HIS feeding spot easily enough and his desperate swueeking ceased as he settled down to drink his teeny tiny paws kneeding his mothers side releasing the fresh warm milk in to his happily accepting body. Nyekundu entered the world with a fair amount of noise but now he was content and silent, drinking his first meal from his young mother.

Laini pressed her eyes closed tightly, as her contractions came stronger. Her instincts told her to push and so she did. Soon her first born cub, her oldest daughter saw the light. Laini sighed heavily, happily, feeling her pain ceasing a bit. She moved her little daughter, who resembled much, to her side, cleaning her up and then leading her to feed from her. She hadn't seen anyone around until now, when she had managed to take a little break. It seemed that Rahima got her own cub as well, which was good. Then she noticed Sethunya near them. A slight blush appeared to her cheeks for the embarrasament she felt. "Could you... turn around?" she wished. Then she mewed painfully, feeling her contractions again.

The little blind cub squirmed a little as she fell, hitting the hard ground with her weak body. If it wasn't a normal things for lions all her bones would have been broken in one second. She couldn't help but squeak a little as she was moved around a little. she managed to mover herself a little on her stomach so that she could lay sideways making sure this was her area. She was the first born after all and she knew for the this second that she was alone. She nuzzled her mother greatly and a smal smile appeared on the cubs tiny face.

The little crimson and tan cub took in all the words of Kitwana as Kirjava understood slightly. Grasping onto the idea better, crimson eyes looked up at Kitwana and flicked her tail in response.
Ears perked forward as the orange male introduced himself and then a strange name came afterward. Muroki? He wasn't named Mawali?! She didn't put much thought into it as as introduced herself through the earth's shaking. "I'm Kirjava. It's nice to meet you." Though the lioness were giving birth just beyond where she was, the little female had no idea and wasn't aware that this and the earth shaking could be a sign.

It took Rahima longer to clean up after her second offspring's arrival, briefly leaving her son and his sister in her warm indent to clear away the remains of the afterbirth. The sharp sweet copper-tang of blood wasn't welcome; she wanted a tidy Nest.
The little female's fur remained mostly red even when washed and would stay so always. Like her mother, the little female was blood red in part. Like her father, however, she had a stripe down her back and a mask of black on white. The lionness sighed to see it and lay down so that her daughter could take her first drink and her son resume his.

As the scent and sounds of birth entered the lioness' mind, Sethunya turned away, eyes cast on the ground. Her gaze only raised again as Kitwana's words filtered through her eardrums. "Quite the scholar are we, Kittie," she taunted. He was, truly, an easy target, yet not raising to the bait today, quite as easily as usual. Narrowing her eyes at him, she simply nodded briefly at Bhaskar's introduction. "Sethunya," she said shortly, before placing herself out of the gathering slightly, watching the scenery's shaking gently begin to ease.
Though he kept his snarl and sharp tongue in check at Sethunya's words, a scowl in her direction could not be avoided, lip twitching slightly over that set of teeth. "Kitwana," came his response to the orange adolescent, before he nodded at the young grey male happily acting as if he were glued to the adult, "and Masego." The latter name was said with a sort of resigned sigh. He seemed to have accepted his status as a god with the young twit.
The sounds of new cubs caused his eyes to flick to the birthing area, brow quirking. "It seems these young ones choose a strange time to come;" His words were quiet, harsh voice low. That brow hiked further up the terrain of his face as the rumbling beneath them seemed to ease, the slipping earth begin to find some unseen point of balance upon which to focus.

Bhaskar nodded at their introductions. They sure seemed to have a past together, the way they reacted to each other.. He watched Laini and Rahima. Poor things, geez, he was glad he was a male. A shifting in the distance caught his eye and he turned to see Laana's approach. Hey.. he knew her. But, Bhaskar waitied for her to come closer to say hellos, he didn't want to leave Muroki here alone.

"Thank you", Laini whispered between her painful mewings. This one, it wanted to come faster. It was also a bit easier than the first one. This one, her softly creamy colored boy was threatened as same the first one. Cleaned up and moved towards her stomach. She started to purr, knowing that she got such pleasant looking babies and that soon this would be over. Already kinda getting used to painful contractions, she wasn't surprised when they started again.

Still lying with her stomach pressed against the ground, Kirjava didn't want to move from her position unless she had to. Crimson eyes flicked to a black female by the name of Sethunya. Shifting her gaze to the orange male and then to Kitwana, she smiled. Though, Kitwana's comment caught his attention. Strange time to come? Who else was coming, she wondered quietly.
An ear flicked as she noticed Bhaskar's stare...there was another lion coming in their direction? Her tail flicked from side to side behind her.

The soft, pale hues of his fur reflected this cub's behavior. Once he had entered the world, he barely moved, and just lay there contently on his stomach as his mother cleaned him. He mewed a couple of times, but they were bearly audiable over the rumbling of the earth. Once he was clean, his mother nuzzled him towards her stomach. Shakily, he lifted his head, as if trying to show some sort of gratitude before he began sucking on the nearest teet. He failed to feel his older sister nearby.

*Swaying winds sent Aleu into a light happiness, as she slowly moved her brown toned form down a rather grassy hill, her cream colored paws pressing lightly against the earth as she slowly made her way down hill, in search of water. Yawning, a slight sigh passed her maw, as she stopped, her tail flickering slightly. Was she lost? With a c**k of the brow, she slowly started off, north, a look of confusion playing along her dull face. Her ears pinned back as she slowly came to a stop, after walking for what seemed like forever. Frowning she sat, and eyed the lands before her, thinking to herself.*

The constant rumbling of the earth did not stop the dark gray lioness in her goal, she slowly padded towards where most of the other's where, a shabby looking lion and black lioness with beautiful gold and purple markings the first to catch her eye.
Then only did she notice Bhaskar, a lion she had met as a cub but had not seen in so long, she gave out a small roar in greeting before tumbling patheticly thanks to a strong shake the earth released under her paws, her boney jewelry prodding into her ribs and fur and making her yowl in angry pain. "DAMMIT!!"
