Akemi I knew that Rampel was my son as soon as he had uttered his first 'Mow'. His odd mutation had thrown me off. Their were so many differences between us. The only major similarities that were between us, was the long trail of mountains that designed his lovely tan side. His eyes were a dull tan, very similar to the colors of his hide. He didn't have the bright, golden eyes that me and his mother share. But oh, all of the expression in his dully colored eyes, made them shine. The long spine-fin mutation that ran along his spine had given me my doubt's. Neither my, nor Xai's relatives had any sorts of mutations. Because of a Fairy, I came to learn that an element could have blessed our child. That, or a special gene that me and Xai both carry. The fin was something else, really. It had amazed us when he had slipped out of his egg, the way that it flexed straight up, only wavering if you forced it. Rampel's beige hide was a mixture between the lighter colors on my and Xai's hides. Her Ivory, and my tan. Them, missed in with both of our blacks, had caused the shades to darken, giving him a darker look. He was the odd ball out of the bunch. He didn't match any of his darker, black and red colored brothers or sisters. And he'd rather stick close and spend more time with Xai and myself, then go off with his siblings and coyote to play. Xai was rather thrilled about it at first, enjoying how he gave his utmost attention to the both of us. Now, she'd prefer him to go out and make friends with his siblings. I agree.

Rampel "Rampel, stop it," Sofiel growled, trying to tug her tail out of Rampel's grip. Rampel kept his hold firm, "I'm not letting you leave again, Sofiel. Mother will be distraught, and Father furious. You know how much it hurt Mu-lin to find you missing, will you do that to us again?" Rampel pleaded with his sister.
Sofiel was trying to run away, again. She had done it before, months ago. It had caused their whole family to fall into a small depression. Xai had locked herself up, and demanded that Akemi was to find her. Their siblings reacted similar. Rampel had kept close to Mu-lin the whole time, taking care of her while their mother could not. Alperen was sad, and had stuck as close as he could to Xai, wanting to comfort his mother. The twins were quite passive about it, though they didn't like the effect that it was having on their family. Sofiel had been gone for almost a whole year before Akemi and Fenris found her. They had to literally drag her home, even resorting to tieing a rope around her neck. Akemi had told her that she was still too young to be out in the world alone, and if she wished to leave, she could do so when she became a adult. Sofiel had an outburst, and refused to talk to anyone when she arrived home. Sofiel had caused a large, fine crack into their family. A piece of them was missing, and Rampel had doubted that it could ever be fixed. Now, Sofiel was trying to leave again. Rampel knew that their family would never be the same. And if he let Sofiel go now, he'd never see her again. "Let me go, Rampel!" Sofiel demanded, scratching at her brother's hands. Her claws drew blood, but Rampel didn't let go. He tugged her tail to him, making her lose her footing and fall on the ground. Sofiel snarled, turning around to bite Rampel. Rampel yelped, feeling Sofiel's sharp teeth dig into the skin of his arm. The crimson liquid dripped down his arm as his tried to pry his sister off of him. "Sofiel!" he exclaimed, not wanting to resort to violence to shake her off. Sofiel let go, taking the opportunity to push Rampel over and flee. Rampel watched as his sister flew off into the starry sky. He could go after her. He was much faster then her, and all of the other painters in his family. Though was bringing her back a second time a good idea? 'Should I go after her? She'll just try to leave again and again. If this is what she really wants," Rampel frowned and curled up into a ball. He brought his arm to his mouth and started lapping up the flowing blood. Sofiel had been willing to harm her own family to get her 'freedom'. She'd leave a scar on all of their hearts, just for her own sake. 'I'll have to tell mother in the morning, that she's gone again. Father won't go after her this time.' Rampel felt his eyes overflowing with tears. 'Mu-lin will be heartbroken.'. Getting up from the ground, he limped back into the mansion. Pein was waiting at the door for him. His familiar look at his with sorrow filled eyes. 'Will you be ok, master? Let me assist you," Not waiting for permission, Pein approached his master and lifted Rampel's bad arm around his shoulders. 'Shall I fetch Xai for you? You need to get that treated, before it becomes infected.' Rampel shook his head. "No, wait till morning to wake Xai. Let her rest in peace, for now. When she wakes up, she'll be sad once again." Rampel pointed Pein in the direction of their room. They'd sleep till morning, and wake once someone discovered Sofiel missing.

Ghost I could not take my cursed eyes off of her. The sway of her hips as she danced, the way that the firelight blazed across the skin of her naked stomach. Her muscles rippled across her thin abdominals as her body followed its owner's instructions. Sweat was already dripping from her scrunched up brow. I watched as a fine drop of liquid made it's way down her slender face, falling to her wrapped up chest. Her tanned, shaven legs were exposed, the muscles in them where defined, and I could see them flex with every different step she took. A melodic, patterned tune drifted from her mouth. "One, Two, Three, Four."
"Good Job, Ladies! Now onto the next workout!"
It was Alexia's aerobics's time yet again. And it disgusted me. How would I ever get to take my nap with all of her repetitive and enthusiastic racket!? Getting up from my place in the corner, I walked over to the end table that held the remote to the Television. 'And up! Twist those abdominals, Ladies! Side, side, side. 1 2 3 4!' The annoying instructor yelled out, her attempts to bring the consumer into the workout was working, I noted listening to the way Alexia counted under her breath. I sneered in annoyance. Did she seriously think that these video's would help her lose those 'extra ten pounds' that she gained last week from sitting around? I snorted and pressed a small red button on the remote. The TV switched off, it's screen going black. It took Alexia about a second to realize what happened. She whipped around to face me, a snarl already on her lips. "Ghost! Turn that bad on. NOW." She punctuated every word. A smirk lifted one corner of my mouth. "Now, now Alexia. Don't get so testy. I can think of a much better way to lose those few pounds." I approached that panting human female. Alexia paused for a second in thought. A devious smile fitted itself onto her face. "Your right, Ghost. I can think of a better way to lose this weight.... BY KICKING YOUR SCRAWNY a**!" She growled out, before pouncing towards me. My eyes widened as I jumped to the side, dodging her by just a few inches. I took off out the doorway, not even bothering too look back to see if she was chasing behind me. That annoying human could be scary sometimes. Almost as frightening as myself.

Alexia "Raja, move" Alexia grumbled, trying to push her body away from the large, heavy Griffin that laid curled up to her side. The Blue and black Leopard spotted griffin just purred deeply and snugged closer to the peeved, half awake human girl. Alexia growled in response, opening her purple eyes to glare at the comfortable bird. "Raja." She said again, a hint of her aggravation in her voice. The offending Griffin opened one Violet eye to peer at his companion. A low chuckle built in his throat, seeing his room-buddy in such a ruffled state. Her hair was tangled and messy, the definition of 'rat's nest' fit perfectly. There were traces of sleep still in her eyes, and Raja could smell her morning breath clearly. Alexia's clothes were disheveled, along with the rest of her appearance. Humor sparkled in the griffin's eyes. "Don't say a thing." Alexia growled, knowing the reason for the Griffin's amusement. Deciding that she probably wouldn't be getting back to sleep now that he was awake also, Alexia rolled out of bed. Her bare feet hit the cold stone floor and she shivered at the loss of her warm furry blankets. She pulled the sleeves of her long sleeved pajama shirt down to cover her freezing hands. She grabbed the soft, blue robe that was draped across her desk's chair. Fitting her arms through the baggy sleeves, Alexia glanced back at the large Griffin that still took up over half of her bed. His eye was closed once again, and his breathing was just stilling into a gentle lull. She frowned. Why should he get to sleep in, after waking her up so early with his bed-hogging. Alexia kicked the mattress twice, enough to make the Griffin open his eyes. "Get up." She growled, before making her way out of the room. Making her way down the hallway, Alexia was peeved to hear Ghost's loud snores. Sure, that jerk got to sleep in but she didn't. Alexia walked into her bathroom, which was located across the hall from her and Raja's bedrooms. Alexia grabbed the brush that sat out on the side of her sink and started running it through her white hair, wincing every time it found a knot. The only bad thing about living in this stone cavern, was that there were a limited amount of rooms that came with it. Which was why they had started building a room for their newest house member, Raja. So, while the room was being pick'd away at, he decided to take up her bed as his sleeping area. Something that Alexia wasn't so happy about. Now, her bed was littered with his shedding fur, and stray feathers. She was forced to wash her blankets every other day, with the knowledge that they would just wind up dirty the next morning. Not only that, but her sleeping space was taken up, so she only had 1/4th of her bed to curl up on. 'Stupid Griffin." Alexia thought with disdain, running the brush one last time through her hair before moving on to brush her teeth. One of the things that Alexia enjoyed most, was her sleep. At first, Alexia didn't mind her new bedroom partner, until he started becoming more comfortable with her furniture. Raja used to be so hesitant and awkward around her. She knew that he wasn't fully accepting the fact that he could stay with them for as long as he pleased. She knew that he had been through quite a bit, even though they never talked about it. She didn't need to know his past, and he didn't show any interest in wanting to know her's. It was something that didn't bother her. He was a well mannered, entertaining creature, and when he wasn't hogging her bed, she enjoyed his presents. Alexia was snapped out of her thoughts when a knock came from the closed door. "I'm going to go get breakfast. I hope that you're hungry for bacon." Raja's voice came from the other side of the wooden door. Alexia spit the tooth paste from her mouth and rubbed her mouth clean. "Thanks, Raj." Alexia answered back. She heard the soft click of his front claws as he walked away. This happened every morning when he knew that she was in a bad mood. (Alexia wasn't much of a morning person). It always helped her when he'd be the one hunting. Ghost was too lazy to hunt, yet he still liked eating the food that she provided. With Raja living with them now, and his natural skill at hunting, they never had to go foodless for even a night. Raja provided, Alexia cooked, and Ghost ate. It was a never ending circle of food. Alexia finished up her business in the bathroom quickly, and walked out into the hallway. Ghost's snores had stopped, meaning that the Pan'lun was finally awake.... TBC

Alexia Alexia stared up at the ceiling from her place laying on the main room's peach colored couch. Her silver hair circled around her head, creating a white halo. Her lips were tilted downwards and a look of boredom was in her bright purple eyes. A humming noise was at the back of her throat, escaping through her pink lips in a quiet melody. Her white pants and purple blouse were spotten with mud and dirt. Her boots laid by the end of the couch, where her bare feet were propped up on the arm rest. Her slender arms were crossed over her chest. That's how Ghost found her. Now, ten minutes later, she wsa still laying there with a pouting look upon her face. Ghost frowned, resting his upper body on the top of the couch. Alexia's eyes flickered over to his face, a flash of emotion and recognization flashing through them. She groaned and rolled over onto her side, burying her face into one of the couch's pillows. "Wuddya want?" She grumbled, her voice muffled by the pillow that her face was covered by. Ghost's frown deepened, and he reached out and grabbed Alexia's shoulder and flipped her over to face him once again. "Ghost!" Alexia exclaimed, prying his sharp claws off of her shoulder. She sat up, going face to face with the large male Pan'lun. "What.do.you.want?" Alexia growled, moving back away from him. Ghost crawled over the back of the couch, and onto the stressed human. Smothering her down into the cushions, he held her in place when she started squirming. "Why are you upset?" He questioned, his white eyes filled with curiosity. "And why are you so dirty?" A hint of discussed laced the male's voice. Alexia took note of it and replied with a glare. "Your stupid cat got out. AGAIN. And this time it was raining. So, of course, I had to go out and find the stupid thing. I looked for two whole hours before giving up, only to walk in the door to be greeted by it!" Alexia growled. She swore that the cat was smirking when it caught sight of her, drenched and muddy. "SO. As to not throw your dumb cat out to fend for itself, I'm taking a break. Relaxing. Trying to calm myself down. How ever you want to translate "Resisting" into." Ghost snorted softly, rolling off of Alexia. "Why didn't you just send Flauros, or Raja out to look for him?" Alexia frowned, sitting up now that the painter had moved away from her. "Because. They'd fly. I'm not risking them getting struck by thunder, just so your cat can stay dry." Ghost blinked at that, standing up on his four legs and moving to the kitchen door. He could still hear the rain beating on the cavern's roof. "Thanks." He mumbled, before disappearing into the kitchen. Alexia's jaw almost dropped as she stared in wonder at the kitchen doorway. Her face scrunched up in confusion before she jumped off of the couch. "I must have imagined that." She muttered to herself, pulling off her shirt and shaking out of her muddy pants. She flung the two articles of clothing away and into the hamper that laid discarded in the corner. 'A nap sounds good right about now.' She thought, making her way up to her room.

Alexia Alexia stared down cautiously at the small egg that laid on a ruined, torn pillow before her. Earlier that day one of her older companions, Zombie, had stumbled into her home and dropped off the single egg and left. No explanation, no nothing. Just a new stain of greenish ooze on her favorite hand-made rug. Ghost hadn't really been supportive of it, busy with himself and his new found mate. He thought that any possible eggs of his would be much better looking then that unfortunate baby. Alexia has proceeded to flip him off and then told him where he could stick any eggs of his but had immediately taken it back. No egg deserved to be placed in any of Ghost's Orpheus's. Closing her eyes, Alexia reached out a poked the delicate egg, feeling the leathery shell bend inward under her touch. "Ugh!" She removed her finger, slightly disgusted at it's soft shell. Never had she seen a egg without a hard shell to protect it. "You are Zombie's baby, Indeed." She mumbled, shaking her head and walking away from the small deformed egg. She'd wait till it hatched to decide what to do with it. Who knew, it could be relatively normal under it's sloppy shell.
