A young, small girl stood in the midst of the party, biting her pale lips. She felt quite timid. She didn't leave her house much to go to outings which involved socializing, much less parties. Her toes were turned inward, and her dark eyes glanced down at her ruined converses. What was she doing here anyway? She remembered her brother telling her that she would have to get out more, and see much more of the world. She doubt that going to a Valentines Party would help that.
She shook a little, trying to ingnore the odd feeling in her stomach. Christino was suppose to come, her date. Christino was known for bailing on promises, so she wasn't much surprised to not find him at the party after it had started. He probably wasn't coming to the Valentines Party after all. Typical.
Taking in a sigh, Meribelle sat herself down on one of the chairs and watched as the party went on. She glanced at the doors, half-expecting for Christino to walk in at any moment.

Verdi nodded at each. "I am V-e-r-d-i, Verdi." She took in the appearance of the three, the one who had said hello was strange looking with that helmet thing he wore, the one who had roared was so bright, the last one was strange too with that outfit.
"This is Peri." She moved away from her friend so that Peri could be seen, poking her. "So....." She crept closer to the odd trio, "you three enjoying your Valentine's?" She eyed Roar who had a cracker halfway out of his mouth. Verdi wrinkled her nose.
".....hi...." She spoke behind her pillow. Her ears perked up, catching a noise of something. She looked behind herself but saw nothing. She turned back to the others. Peri gasped, clinging to her pillow when she heard a yell and a small explosion of.......she looked about, cupcake bits?
She took in the appearance of the dark blue, red hair and eyes, and pink bow. She knew him! He kidnapped her and another Itoku before, it was long ago but how could she forget being kidnapped. She trembled, fearing that he was going to do something bad again. She pulled on Verdi.
Verdi glared at the newcomer, she was just about to say something else when this Itoku came and made those noises. He seemed familiar but somehow she couldn't place him.

Rewind: Nice to meet you, Verdi and Peri. *he smiled and waved his hoof a little more before he jumped a little in surprise and looked over to where the dark blue Itoku's odd sounds had come from.* Huh, interesting Itoku...
Barricade: *he made his way around the gathering crowd with trays of food or drinks, greeting and welcoming everyone into the party, though, he eyed the rumble coming from the smaller tables set for the itokus and chinuas, half expecting Rumble or Frenzy to be the source of the rattle, but surprisingly the twins were still on their own, enjoying their snacks.*

Jun, a Rakki, wandered around the outskirts for a while, keeping mostly to the high density of the trees and bushes. Finally, the little voice in his head edged him closer and closer until he was padding into the tented area.

Rumble: Heeey, what is -that-? *he had never seen a Rakki before, although he knew about them and had heard the basics of their appearance but it was still a shocker to meet one*

Jun, who had heard Rumble, blinked and looked over at him; or rather, down and over, since the speaker was a Chinua. "Wow you look different!" The Rakki grinned and walked over to Rumble, curious to the mask and the weird thing on the back of the Chinua. "I'm a Rakki, my name's Jun!" He stated this happily, proud.

Rumble: I'm Rumble an' I'm a cassettichinua! An' this is my twin brother, Frenzy. *the chinua flickered his tail a little and turned his attention to the tray of goodies that was halfway empty by now*

"It's so cool to meet you, Rumble!" Jun leaned down and sniffed the tray. "Hm, that smells so good! Where did you get it?" As he finished speaking, his stomach growled.

So many more creatures had come to this party, it boggled Ash's mind (@_@). The Rakki that had just showed up was a creature quite unlike that of any he'd seen before. His size was intimidating, but he didn't give off any bad feelings, so Ash greeted him as best he could, "Hello!" (^o^);;
Meanwhile, over at the fountain amid the festivities, a crop of pink hair emerged out of the water, followed by a pair of dark brown eyes peering somewhat peevish at the little festival. Coill then hoisted her upperbody to the edge of the fountain to rest her arms on it as she let out a very audible sigh. Parties weren't really her "thing", but her daughter had insisted they come. So far, Coill could see no reason to stay. There were just a bunch of "Furs" (as she called them) waltzing around eating and merry-making...which made Coill a bit sick to her stomach.However, her blue-haired daughter Cleite popped up in a far better mood than her mother's. Practically glowing with joy, she had adorned herself with pink and red shellfish to celebrate the occasion. "Oh, it's lovely, Ma-ma. Everyone looks so delightful!"Coill gave her daughter a look quite akin to 'who gives a crap?' "A bunch'eh fuzballs runnin' round i' noht mai ideah a' fun, Cleite." Coill's heavy accent flowed through her sentence."Oh come now, Ma-ma! Everyone is having such a lovely time~♥ Don' be such a bore." Cleite had a slight accent form living with her mother for so long, but it just barely accented her own words.Coill let her body hang over the side of the fountain as if to say 'just shoot me'.

Rumble: *he raised an eyebrow behind his visor but pointed a hoof towards the smaller tables.* There's a lotta stuff to grab all over the tables. Just grab whatever ya want.
Rewind: It seems our first Choumeida visitors have come. *The chinua took advantage of the visor covering his eyes to give a good look at the new comers, one of them seemed nothing but to go away.*

Cleite looked over all the tables, taking a particular interest in the ones lower to the ground, for those seemed to attract the small and fluffy critters Cleite adored. With sparkles in her eyes, she clasped her hands together all daydreamy-like, exclaiming, "Oh but they are so adorable, how I would love a cute little companion of my own~♥"
¬_¬ "An' he'd drown in, liek, 2 min'ites..."
"Mother!" D8( Cleite exclaimed, appalled at her mother's comment. "How morbid! The poor little darlings..." Tears actually started swelling at the corners of her eyes. "I can't even imagine such a tragedy."
"Oh perish the thought..." Coill rolled her eyes in her droll sarcasm. Sometimes she wondered exactly how her daughter was related to her.

Jun grinned. "Thanks Rumble! I'll be right back!" Eagerly, he padded his way over to the table, and after a few minutes of trying to decide what to eat, ended up coming back with a platter full of everything. He set the platter down next to Rumble's and sat next to his new friend. "So why is there a party going on? Is someone gettin' married?"
The water in the fountain bubbled a bit, then another Choumeida appeared. Readjusting her halo, Salcia looked around, smiling calmly and warmly. "My, so many have arrived here..."

Rumble: Married? Nah. *The chinua looked around for a moment, searching for Jazz and grinned when he located her still dancing* See the Anthro Minya dancin' over there? That's Jazz, she wanted to have a part for this Valentine's thing. She'll take any excuse to have a party. *the cassettichinua shook his head but grinned and nibbled another treat*

Jun's eyes widened when he spotted Jazz. And here he had thought that Rumble was interesting looking with his attachments and mask. This anthro Minya was so cool looking! She was covered in what looked like armor, but it was strange. "Woooooh, are all Anthro Minya's like that?"

Kamenwati puffed out his chest in pride at seeing Peri tremble, though the picture he made was comical at best--covered as he was to ears in frosting. "Raaar!" he repeated, for good measure. "Scared you, didn't I?"
All the noise couldn't help but attract 'Seal's attention. The minya raised his head from his paws, his usual smile still on his face, though it was colored with a bit of...not dismay, precisely, but certainly gentle rebuke. "Kamenwati," he said, a touch of amusement in his tone. "You've got frosting in your ears."
More than anything, even if he had changed from the days when kidnapping other itoku had seemed like an excellent idea, Kamenwati still couldn't stand being made to feel ridiculous. He immediately deflated, reaching up one tiny paw to scrub a wad of cupcake out of one ear. "Er," he said, looking down at his toes. "...uhm."
At a loss for what to do with it, he looked shyly--shyly!--up at Peri and offered the trembling itoku the tidbit. "...uh. I mean. Hi?"
Satisfied, Goldenseal put his head back down on his paws, still smiling.
