Shamless plug: I have YYH abridged icons in my Gaia profile.
Hinageshi in the abridged movie has OFFICALLY sank into my subcounsiousness.
I already liked squirrels but now I go around saying "PPEEEEPPPPP-PEEEPPP"

Lanipator does eccellent work I just love his swearing Kurama.
His Kuwabara is obsolutly dead on to, it's creepy, Lani did post a test Voice acting video where he seriously followed the lines of the scene, it was the part where Kuwabara is crying and Yusuke goes to get himself killed by Sensui. It was epcially good. I hope Lani can have his dream of voice acting come true god knows Funimation needs more actors.

It's just a kick to see normally-composed Kurama saying, "Oh, this guy is so f***ing dead," "Hiei...go f*** yourself," and "OH, F*** ALL OF YOU!" ^^

The Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged Series is totally worth watching havishanta! Lanipator has to be one of the funniest parodyists(sp?) I have seen on the web. He's also got some really good talent as a voice actor, so not only is the series funny, it's also actually well done. Oh, I should also tell you he got Hiei's voice actor, Chuck Huber, to make a cameo when he did the Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged Movie. Chuck got to play Reiko, a demon with 3rd eye that can bring out the evil in one's soul, Hiei fights him actually... although you proably already knew that *smacks head* sweatdrop
Anyway, yeah I suggest seeking out the abridged series, it's bloody hillarious.
Edit: I had to come and add this warning... "Son of a wh***!" will become your new favourite curse phrase >> <<. Ever since I watched the Yu Yu Hakusho abridged series I have not been able to get that out of my head and it just slips out of my mouth when something goes wring now... Yay abridged Hiei!

havishanta Lol, "son of wh***?" wth? XD When you get to the Kurama vs. Genbu battle, all will become clear regarding this phrase. The one that I find myself muttering on occasion is "go f*** a toaster". Not as versatile as "son of a wh***", but satisfying nonetheless.

The one that I find myself muttering on occasion is "go f*** a toaster". Not as versatile as "son of a wh***", but satisfying nonetheless. lol. Oh wow. Now I REALLY want to see them. : D

Okay, so I watched the most recent episode of the Abbridged series... with the lovely Byakko LOL Catz jokes... Did anyone else catch that he left in one of Hiei's lines? It was just so funny and suited the Abbridged series so well, that he didn't even feel he needed to rewrite it. When I caught it I had to swallow my laughter because my dad was asleep in the other room, it was GRAND.

Nothing wrong with it, but I did kinda miss a lot of the improv that Lani does with his episodes. Hopefully the next one won't take a year to make. ^^'
