((lawl, this scene is pretty awkward D: something needs to happen!))

"Really, it's nothing. I was just stupid enough to act on a whim that's all." No matter how friendly he was, Chase was a bit tired of awkward introductions, and being in the same area the thugs were looking for them didn't help. He glanced at Maddison and Aaron. He couldn't read Madison's expression, but Aaron seemed to want to get out of there too. He spoke up after making his assumptions, hoping he was right. He grabbed Maddison's arm. "It's nice meeting you two, and I'm glad you're alright, but it's time we get going." He smiled bightly, seemingly sincere. "Hope to see you around!" He waved a quick goodbye at Jessica and Meg, and before he left nodded at Aaron, trying to get him to follow.
((I'm sorry! I had to get things going somehow! Hope you people don't hate mee for that post XC ))

Aidrious leaves her house and sees a group of people outside near an ally.
She notices that some of them seem a little freaked about the thugs nearby.
She runs over to talk to the one who seemed to be running things...
or maybe she was just over analyzing things. In any case she runs up to him and says, "Hello, I'm Aidrious.
I just moved here...it seems kind of lonely and cold compared to old California. Meh...anyway, what's your name?"
She was confident that this person was a lot like her, though she did not know why.

Aaron caught the cue, and nodded politely to Meg and Jessica, trying not to show how his relief, then trailed silently after Chase and Madison. He didn't hurry to catch up; he had a myriad of his own thoughts to sort through.

((Ooc: Sorry! I forgot, I'm a very forgetful person.))
Laila wondered about if she should go after them, or if this was a good time to talk to Jessica instead. She wanted to talk to her, to find out about her.
Laila turned, staring pointedly at her.
"Well? Are you who I think you are?" She paused for a moment, thinking hard. "Maybe we should walk and talk? I want to follow these guys."

Aidrious noticed that Chase walked right past her without a second glance. She put her hands down to her sides and turned to watch him walk away in the distance. Her heart was slightly broken but she did not let her face show how crestfallen she was. She saw a group of two girls walk by, talking in a quizical manner. She stopped in front of them to see if she would be noticed and said "Hi....I'm Aidrious, I couldn't help but to notice that-" and they walked right by her. She sighed and pulled out her pen and paper...drawing this girl (Laila) in charcoal.

Laila HAD noticed the girl, but had chosen to ignore her, even when she had made direct contact. She had far bigger issues on her mind than some annoying girl who wanted to be friends. She had good people to drag down to hell for a start. Then she caught something out of the corner of her eye. And a glimpse of a past appeared. Laila grabbed Jess to make her stop walking and turned to face the girl.
"Drop the paper now." She said menacingly. "You are drawing me. You draw those who you think are evil don't you? Since you were three. I'm not evil. Drop the paper."

Aidrious was so shocked that the paper almost dropped out of her hands. She held onto it tight because that was really all that she had. "How did you know that? I mean..about me and the age of three..how did you know that? Only the evil and purely good can see things like that! You must be evil." The glare this girl was giving her seemed to weigh her down. She dropped the paper, but strangely, it did not get carried away by the wind. Aidrious couldn't help but think that maybe what she had said...was wrong. Maybe this girl was just powerful.

Aaron came to a sudden stop at the sound an angry, almost malevolent voice; it was such a different tone that he didn't realize he knew the voice until he turned around and saw Meg speaking to another girl. It took him a moment to think that she might have also been a part of the awkward gathering in the not-quite-woods.

He hesitated for a split second, looking back at Chase and Madison, who were even now disappearing around clump of trees, then sighed and walked back over to the girls. The other girl, the one he hadn't noticed, was looking decidedly spooked, and he felt an unexpected rush of empathy, as well as substantial irritation toward Meg. What on earth had she said? He bent gracefully and picked up the paper; it appeared to be a charcoal picture of a girl, though it was still too early for many details. He held it out for the little brunette, simultaneously turned to Meg. "Problems?" he asked, careful to keep his voice neutral.

Aidrious looked at the boy gratefully. She had thought this girl would attack her. She saw him pick up the drawing and flushed. She never really shared her drawings with anyone so she was slightly embarrased. She didn't want to reach for it because she didn't know how the girl would react. She waited for an answer to the boys question..all the while confused and bewildered.

((Ooc: Her name is Laila, she has just told everyone it is Meg as she doesn't trust them. Such paranoia...
"What? Yeah... Um... It's just..." She said desperately, trying to come up with some kind of excuse to get her out of this. She felt her head spin. So many people, so many untrusting people. So much to remember, and a bargain she had to keep... Her sister...
"I'm sorry." She whispered, "I can't keep doing this." She turned and ran from them all, stumbling over her feet as she went. She would be back to find them, she just had to deal with a few of her own personal issues first.

Aaron watched Meg go without comment, his eyes troubled; she had been guilty, that much had been clear from her reaction, but… He couldn’t explain how he’d felt it, but there had been such sadness in her it had almost crushed him. A moment later she was out of sight. Aaron jerked his attention back to the girl, more than a little unnerved. She was blushing furiously, still looked nervous, and had not taken her drawing; he managed a slight, hopefully reassuring smile, but firmly handed her the paper, then turned and started off after Chase and Madison. He just hoped he hadn't already lost them.

[[Hey guys, I'm so sorry! I've been grounded the past two weeks and couldn't post.]]

Madison was thankful for the excuse to leave, and followed Chase willingly. When they were out of ear shot of everyone else, she glanced back to see if Aaron was following. Not seeing him, she shrugged it off, though she was a tad bit hurt. Something about his confusion told her that he was similar to her. Lost without any recolection of how they got their. Turning back, she looked over at Chase. "Thankyou." she whispered, blushing lightly as she realised she hadn't released his arm. Sliding her arm out of his, she looked around, seeing black trees surrounding them on all sides, and the faint glow of a street light off to their right.

Aaron walked quickly around the trees the other two had disappeared around, panic stabbing into his gut when he didn't see the backs of the familiar heads. It was starting to get dark, the street lights had come on, anyway, and Aaron was suddenly certain that there was no way he wanted to be by himself. He wanted to find Madison, Madison who might not have a memory either, but at the moment he wasn't choosy. He could go back and hang out with Jessica and that girl with the drawing... Until what? Until they went home. Right. He had to find Madison and Chase; there was absolutely nothing else for it. He walked quickly down the path. If he started running, he didn't think he would be able to stop.

Zara bit her lip, trying hard not to cry. So, it was getting dark. He would still come. He had promised… Or had he? Her delicate shoulders hunched reflectively as she realized he had done no such thing; he’d just implied. Still, she couldn’t force herself to stand, and she couldn’t force herself to stop searching the faces of passerby, catching mundane glimpses of futures she cared nothing about. That would be the final admittance of defeat, and she would have to walk home under a clinging blanket of shame that was imperceptible to anyone but her. Imperceptible until Monday, anyway. No, she would sit there until he came or she died, whichever happened first.

A pleasant vision unfolded before her eyes. She saw herself lying on the icy grass, silent and still. Her face was desperately beautiful in death, her eyes closed as if in sleep, her lips and cheeks tinged with blue from the cold of the spring night. Jacob was dropping to the ground beside her, cradling her, running his fingers through her golden curls, inexpressible remorse clear in every inch of his anguished face—

Zara was brought out of her daydream, though not with a bump; it was more like she was lifted out. An absolutely, jaw-droppingly gorgeous boy was walking past her. Jacob was instantly gone from her head without leaving so much as a forwarding address. He was a little old for her, probably 18 or 19, but that only increased his appeal. The next moment his future hit her like a bullet.

The boy’s delicate features were practically unrecognizable, twisted by rage; his enormous green eyes seemed dead. After a moment, he spoke. It was a single word, seemingly meaningless, at least without context, but Zara felt an inexplicable surge of horror nonetheless. “Yes,” he said, his voice tight with a myriad of emotions, none of them pleasant. A low laugh surrounded him in response, and the evil in it made Zara’s hair stand on end. The vision ended, and Zara was left gasping for breath.

Catching glimpses of the future was rarely pleasant. Usually it fell along the lines of boring and irritatingly distracting. Sometimes it was horrible. She’d seen suicides, murders, beatings, rapes… But… nothing like that. Her eyes found his face again, and before consciously deciding to do anything she was surging to her feet. She moved over to him and lightly brushed the sleeve of his shirt. “Excuse me,” she said, her voice shaking, “I—“ She broke off, swallowed, and forced herself to continue. “This is going to sound insane, but I think you’re going to Hell.”

Aidrious grabbed her picture and watched as this boy walked off...without even telling her his name. She had one thing, and it was the girl's name..Meg. A simple name....but beautiful. Aidrious couldn't help but to feel something, like a bird in her heart when she thought of this..Meg. She didn't want to think about that, she had too much on her mind as it was. She quickly finished the picture and let it fly away in the wind.
Aidrious hoped to see someone around to talk to...but no one was around that she could see. She began a stroll along the tree line.
