My preference is wide screen. It's more like how it was in theaters and you don't get the camera pans as much. I know it made the difference for me watching The Incredibles in both formats.

I'm all about wide screen, my mom is a film teacher and she wouldn't even let full screen movies in our house for years because they suck that much. You lose like 10-20% of the movie going full screen, who'd want that?

I prefer wide screen. With wide screen nothing gets cut out.

Wide screen is the way the director intended it to be seen, which is why I almost always go for widescreen. Most films don't lose much (in terms of impact) when cut down to fullscreen, but then again, they don't really gain anything.

For me, it really depends on what movie I'm watching and how the director wanted it to be viewed. I prefer widescreen with most anything though.

I perfer wide screen because in full screen, sometimes the sides get chopped off and you can't see the whole picture.

I prefer fullscreen but all the DVD's now seem to be widescreen so I'm use to it but I don't like it.

I personally like widescreen because I can see more from the sides in a movie rather than full screen which displays only half of what widescreen presents.

strangely, it depends on the movie. If it were the kind where it includes flight scenes and stuff it would be cool in full screen because it would be sort of like IMAX. but wide screen is better if it were a movie like idk, something Hugh Grant would be in where the details don't really matter.
