Yukika continued to eat, but was slowly becoming more and more enraptured with the Sake. Her cheeks felt warmer and warmer, turning a rosy red color. The whole world felt better with a bit of the liquor. Her situation seemed a little less dim.
"Oh? Immortality, huh.." She paused. She had so many good memories, along with her bad ones..she wouldn't be able to stand forgetting all of them. Significant events slowly and slowly becoming more and more distant in her mind, until one day she forgot completely. "Sounds like a pretty crappy way to live your life. Not the way I wanna live it, for sure. I'll die and leave a beautiful corpse."
Yukika's eyes were slightly squinted, but they opened slightly at the inquiry. "No. No. None of that. Not someone...important, neccesarily." She smiled at Anasia. It was apparent she was about to skip gears. "But why do we have to talk about bad memories? Let's talk about all the good times!"

Anasia narrowed her eyes a bit as you continued to evade her question. She closed her eyes for a moment then slowly opened them and gazed into your eyes...suddenly you started to feel as if she was slowly consuming your own sense of self and replacing it with only obiediance to her.
However, before this feeling could completely consume you there was the sound of an explosion followed by shouts coming from outside. Through the apartment window you could see smoke rising up from one of the nearby buildings.
Anasia's attention turned towards the window and she let out a faint hiss. On the table a holographic image of the Leader appeared. "Anasia, Watanabe. You two are the closest to the impact site, go investigate. If the Salamander's shinobi are involved eliminate them."

The Leader has sent you to investigate an explosion near your apartment. He suspects that followers of Salamander Hanzo may be behind the attack.

"!!!" Yukika snapped to attention, pushing herself out of the seat, using the table as balance. What had..Anasia done to her? Regardless, there was no time for that, now.
She turned her attention toward throwing her cloak and straw hat, throwing the cloak on in a single quick motion. Her hat snapped onto her head. She looked at Anasia, nodding ever so slightly. Her cheeks were still red. Hopefully the alcohol wouldn't affect her that badly.
"I'm following you. Seeing as you have seniority."

Anasia put her chopsticks down next to her plate then stood up. Her right hand zipped up her cloak but she didn't bother to reach for her straw hat. The small bat flew from the saucer and onto her shoulder as she regarded you, "You're just afraid to die, but I find that...cute."
She walks over the the window and opens it, taking in the air as the rain still pour outside, "By the way, don't tell me that you have forgotten our little talk about being being properly prepared. I don't recall you getting any proper weapons or items to fall back on in case your fists fail." She looks over her shoulder at you, "And we're not leaving until you do."

"Urk!" Yukika froze slightly. She was afraid to die..in a sense. Not because of death itself, but because she had things to do with her life.
"Oh! Yeah.." Yukika walked to her closet and pulled out a single holster, loading it with several items before sliding it up onto her arm, strapping it into place. She tugged on it slightly, making sure it was firmly held in place.
She walked back to Anasia, nodding. "Fine. I'm ready, now."

Anasia smirked and reached out, you feel the tip of her index finger touch your forehead. A chill was sent through your body as her skin feels as cold as a corpse. She simply smirked and said, "Good." Before turning and opening your window.
She glanced around then down at the street below before placing her foot on the window frame and pushing off into a jump. She leaped across the street and landing on the roof of the building on the other side before dashing across its surface.
You see her leap again and land on the next building, which was much taller then start jumping vertically out of sight.

"Urk!" Yukika froze as the finger tapped her lightly. It was quite simply freezing. She stared at the girl slightly as she turned away. She shook her head lightly. So creepy..
Yukika quickly followed suite, running and straightening her body as she flew out the window and rolled as she hit the other rooftop, running into a flatout sprint. The alcohol was still in her body, and she could feel it. Not terribly horrible, but enough.
Still, she charged on after Anasia, leaping after her as quickly as possible.

You see smoke coming from one of the small business buildings a few structures ahead as you follow Anasia. Within a minute and few fancy leaps you land on the street level.
Walking into the blown out building all you can see is smoke and debris. Anasia's eyes seem to have no problem adjusting to this form of environment as she stands near the entrance and glances around the room wordlessly. She points over towards the source of the smoke, which is down a blown-out hallway, "Go and see what the source of the explosion was... I will begin searching for any clues of where they may have escaped too."

"Yeah." Yukika walked carefully and slowly, making her way down the hall. Everything was trashed. She glanced around, checking for any clues. The hallway, and subsequently the back rooms seemed to be devoid of anything interesting.
"Tch.." She didn't really see anything as she walked around. Still, she had an intuition about something. She walked further back, heading into the furthest back room. She gave a quick glance around, noticing something. "Hmm?"
Analysis: 2 + 8 = 10! Success!

Carefully examining the room you find the origin point of the blast from the pattern of the debris moving away from blast. Around the remains of the boxes you find what look like large and small pieces of metal and burned wrapping, clearly kunai were stored in this area.
However you also begin to find burned pieces of paper, the kind that you normally see in explosive tags. Judging from the dispersion of the paper there were roughly 4 explosive noted placed here, but from the damage to the building as a whole they either: Placed more tags around strategic areas or were aware that there was more in this base than simple steel weaponry.
However before you can investigate further you hear the sound of someone stepping on debris behind you. Quickly turning around you see Itachi standing near the doorway, he doesn't look at you but states, "I already searched this room. It seems someone wanted to get our attention, girl." His voice is very plain and right-to-the-point. "Where is your partner?"

Yukika spun on her heels, watching Itachi as he spoke. Had he been here the whole time? And when did he get here? It also seemed kind of odd that he would assist Anasia and her..usually the Patrons kept to their own groups. In fact, other than a lot of training and unimportant things, Itachi hadn't really done many missions with her.
Yukika took a few moments to look him over, trying to find something odd..something different she would recognize. She was so suspicious of him..However, it could end up bad, her refusal to answer immediately. She looked him over once more, but couldn't find anything..If it was him, she had just waste his time.
"Nothing much, Itachi-sama..It looks like they used Explosive tags, but all that I can find right now are bits of kunai..nothing important..so it's possible that they were creating a diversion..or perhaps they blew apart something in here that they considered damaging to them." She paused. She didn't think there was much else. "As for Anasia. She said she was going to explore the area near the beginning of this hallway, if I remember correctly."

Your Patron plainly states, "That is a possibility, girl." His gaze turns down the hallway to his left then to his right as if he's looking at or for something. As you are examining him you notice a kunai slip from his sleeve into his left hand. He suddenly turns on his heels and charges into the room, the sound of his footsteps heavy as he runs over the debris. There is a glint of light as he swings the kunai in a wide arc to assault you!

Yukika smirked as the imposter charged forward. That motion was too irrational for Itachi-senpai. He would've much rather trapped her in some genjutsu before getting his hands dirty with her blood. She watched as the copy charged forward, swinging in an arc at her. She slipped her arm up, blocking the attack and then redirecting it above her head and past her, the attack missing her completely.
"Nice try, Itachi-senpai."
Defensive Action: Parry! (7 + 10 + 4 = 21. Success.)
