Raissen's eyes snapped open when the bike came to a stop. He'd been so engrossed in thought, he hadn't realized they were still tightly shut for the remainder of the ride. Hesitant to release his arms, Raissen finally pulled them away when the bike was turned off. Ptah looked over at him, and Raissen smiled, his windblown hair all askew in a mussed bed head look.
"Naa." He replied, sliding from the bike a little gratefully, taking a few steps to straighten out his skirt and loosen his legs, which had gotten a little stiff over the ride.
That was when he took in the house. The appearance didn't suprise him, though the slightly comical look to the front caused his smile to stretch a little further. So, this was where Catzi lived? He didn't doubt it. Absently, he wondered if she was home or not. He also wondered if Dian had ever visited her house, but doubted it. At least, he knew Catzi had never been to their place.
"Your house is so big!" Raissen exclaimed as he began walking up to the front porch.

Raissen laughed quietly at the explanation of the front of the house. "My dad's a do-it yourselfer nut, too. He's actually renovated his entire house a couple of times." He said, laughing.
When Raissen had moved in, it was just Dian, he and Hikaro, the bird boy, but as more children kept adding to the ranks, the house became too small to house everyone. It was a two bedroom, two bathroom one storied house with an attic that was off limits. The back end of the house was decrepid, and led to an excavated cavity under the house that was really just a mound of dirt. Somehow, Dian fixed up the entire area, adding another three rooms, one bathroom and a closet, and added a basement. Their house was fairly large now. Raissen didn't doubt the fact that Dian was also planning on adding another floor under the basement as well.
The redheaded boy was pulled from his musings by Ptah grasping his hand and pulling him inside the Whitten Estate. It was warm inside, very homely. "Lucy, I'm home!!" Ptah yelled, and Raissen winced. Oh dear.
Catzi was a ballistae as she shot through the floor and slid into Ptah in a greeting that put all others to shame. He squelched a laugh before it emerged, when he saw a pointy eared female peeking at him from another entryway. He'd just started to wave when Catzi pulled him into an embrace. Raissen lit up as he smiled at her, "Hiya Catzi! Long time no see." He said, sheepishly folding his hands behind him. "I'm fine, really. Could be better, you?" He queried, a little looking forward to speaking with Catzi when Ptah broke in.
"Goin' camping!" Raissen chirped as an explanation, sending a glance to the young man beside him. The bells on his skirt jingled merrily, like a musical indication of his mood. He leaned over to Catzi and whispered to her, "You might wanna pay Dian a visit sometime soon, he's seriously in need of a familiar face." Raissen said, knowing few people could cheer his father like the woman before him could.

Raissen lightly rocked on his heels, hoping he wouldn't have to do too much walking in his bare feet. He lightly padded the spot on his shirt that his cell phone was hooked to, to ensure that it was indeed still there, and just let his eyes roam. They found their way to Ceridwen when she approached, and he smiled politely.
The redheaded man lightly stretched out his hand to shake hers at the introduction. "I'm pleased to meet you too, Ceridwen." Raissen said, noting her elongated ears. He turned to Ptah, "Is she your only sibling?" He queried, as Raissen himself had, how many was it now? Four? He gently adjusted the glasses perched on his nose, a little thankful for the shield. As he grew older, his eyesight had gotten progressively worse, to a point where he usually preferred to wear his glasses at all times.

Raissen was left with his hand dangling in the air, as Ceridwen made no move to take or shake it at all. Like a limp fish, it dropped to his side, and he turned to look at Ptah.
"Ethan too? No kidding." Raissen exclaimed. His memory of the mansion was hazy at best, and while he knew an absurd amount of kiddlets emerged from the dank mausoleum, he had no idea where they all went off too. Red brows furrowed and Raissen pressed a hand to his forehead. He remembered vaugly the couch, the butler, shadows...Hallways, the smell of vodka, broken mirrors... Raissen shook his head to clear it, when the cry of a startled boy reached him. Ptah was nowhere to be seen.
Confused blue eyes regarded Ceridwen when she predicted Ptah being pummeled for what action? He looked alarmed when a crash echoed from the same space as the cry came from. His questions were answered when Ptah reemerged carrying Ethan, and his own smile reemerged. Ethan was terribly, terribly cute.
Once again Raissen's hand extended, this time though, he lightly grasped Ethan's warm brown hand and shook it. "A pleasure, Ethan. My name is Raissen." He introduced himself with a smile to the little seer.
Raissen. Thinker. Rose. Three words that personified the man who stood before them. A self absorbed youth with a degree in healing arts, a practicing maseusse and gender confused homosexual. Contradictory to his very fibres, he lead two lives, and seemed a different person to everyone he met. Deep midnight eyes peered at Ethan, and he suddenly became nervous. Ethan's gaze was deep and knowing, baring even. He looked away and instead glanced on Ptah.

Raissen had to admit the 'save' to be rather coreographed. It was notable how both Ceridwen and Ptah shifted at the exact same time and placed their hands on another at the same moment, Ceridwen on Ethan's shoulder, Ptah onto Raissen's waist. "Yeah, I haven't eaten since I left home." He admitted, easily swaying into Ptah's embrace and walking alongside him, as though he were used to such an action. The awkward bumping was expertly avoided.
"Smores!" He nearly chirped, recalling the decadent treats with fondness. Oh man, when one managed to toast a marshmallow just right so it slightly melted the chocolate as well-heaven on a grahm cracker.
"We should probably bring something a little more substantial too, for dinner itself, and breakfast tomorrow." As much as he loved smores, the idea of eating them all night made him feel a smidge ill. Raissen lightly rocked on his heels, allowing the bells on his skirt to jingle quietly.

Raissen rolled his eyes at the sarcasm, but laughed as well. "Well sorry if I'm just human."
He ventured to the pantry when Ptah opened it, peering inside at the stockhold of food with admiration. There were a lot of things that made good snacks, but he was looking for dinner type stuff. Smiling, Raissen procured a bag of dry angel hair spaghetti. Quick, easy and tasty.
"Kin I have a little of this? All it really needs is butter and cheese, and maybe a little salt." He said, handing off the package with a charming smile. A spin on the heel followed by a musical jingle and Raissen was back where he was before, where he could watch Ptah without imposing in his personal space.
