a piece of crimson cloth blew between the two on the ground catching on a twig in it's middle. On the side that only Shizuku could see was the words 'I know' as a sign that he would come to her sometime later to meet.

Shizuku glanced out of the corner of her eye, suprised.
'Huh....I know....maybe..it's the person!....' She attempted to put two and two together.

the figure left the two, FOR NOW, but he'd be back sooner or later.

Reijin was thrown back by her words. His calm smile turned into a more serious one, and he let go of Shizuku suddenly.
"Fine... then go."
And with that, Reijin turned and promptly pushed through the crowd, leaving Shizuku to do whatever she pleased.

"He's...very...sweet." Shizuku turned, and headed in the opposite direction.
"Little...brother...I must...see you! And...I'm hungry...but..I have no money!" She hissed, cursing. "Great...just perfect." She stomped her foot on the ground, and walked on.
"I...hate to leave him...but...that piece of cloth...and my urge..to see him, made it this way." She whispered, continuing to walk at a steady pace.
"Whomever sent it...might...just want to hurt me!...I may...have to use...Yau on them...I couldn't ever...do 'it' again...never..."

Reijin treaded slowly down the streets, kicking himself for what he did. At the same time, he wouldn't go back now and remedy it. She was hiding so much from him... and he could tell. How could he be so open with someone who refused to do the same with herself? It was maddening...
He turned the corner, and came across a bathhouse. Deciding he could use some relaxation, he entered, and went into an empty pool, unclothing himself and sliding in, letting the hot water soothe his body.
He knew she could see right through him... somehow. Shizuku always seemed to know what he was thinking... he wanted to know how. He tilted his head back against the ground, sighing.

"If...I don't open up to the guy...how can he help me...or give me his thoughts...well...I already kinda steal them...but...that's not the point." Shizuku groaned.
"I shouldn't....use it for bad...nor...revenge. Nor should I be prying into other people's heads, and knowing what they'll do next..."
She shook her head, angry at herself, and tried to calm. "Maybe...I should stop hiding..." She raced down the street, worried about Reijin, as she fought back tears.
"I'll...keep being lonely, if I...don't speak up..." She whispered to herself. "I...can't take this!" She withdrew Yau, and threw the blade. It whizzed through the air, and hit a tree some distance away.
"Opps..." She quickly headed to the tree. At the base of it, she looked up, at the sword. Lifting up her arm, she dislodged it, and examined Yau.
"Be...more careful..." She sulked, and leaned against the tree. "I keep procrastinating...I won't see little brother...but...I just want some alone time...though I hate being alone."
The gentle breeze made her hair move about.

A figure in crimson stood with his back to tree's opposite side of Shizuku. the figure's words wrapped around the tree's trunk swaying with the cold night air, his voice was that of a boy who spoke with words of an adult.
"I know your problem, and I can help you fix it, but....."

"Wait...answer my question first...who are you?" Shizuku asked curiously, as she listened to his voice.
She gripped Yau's hilt, unsure of his intentions. "You...can fix it..." She repeated.

Ikko, still not facing Shizuku, awaited her answer. The closest she could see to his face was his warm breath on the frigid air.

"I...I...I can solve my problems on my own." Shizuku said with a mix of sorrow and fear in her voice.

"hmph, fine but I'll let you know this, I only offer my help once. The next time you happen to see me will be your last and one last thing how do you think that person, Reijin will treat you if he knew the whole story about you? I don't think he'll be as forgiving as someone like me. I guess I'll take my leave now since you obviously don't need my help with your ... problem."
Ikko started to walk off in the opposite direction as Shikzuku.

ikko had stopped walking almost as soon as he started. he would wait to she if she'd back out again.
