Solarclaw nodded and the three of them padded out of camp and into the thick forest of tall, sturdy trees that surrounded the camp and reached out in all directions. "We can go to the Sandclan border first, then head west around the territory." Solarclaw meowed. He cast a glance in the direction they were going, south, and noticed the rainclouds over Sandclan's territory. To the South-east, clouds hung over Mudclan's territory too. At least it's not cloudy here! Solarclaw thought happily.

Spicepaw followed Solarclaw's gaze over the territory, and mewed brightly, "Nice and sunny here!" She sniffed the ground, and mewed to Solarclaw confused, "What is this scent?"

[It should be a panther. For four reasons 1) Cats dont stand a chance againts an elephant 2) An elephant wont be able to live in a forest for very long. 3) Elephants are huge! Any one could see or hear it from miles! Someone would have already reported an elephant in a forest to animal control the seacond it escaped! 4) I like panthers better xd ]

Daisychain stopped. "I've never scented it before." Her eyes betrayed her confusion. She scented carefully. "It's such a strong scent, what could it be?" The fur on the back of her neck began to rise and her tail started to fluff up. "Whatever it is, it doesn't smell good."

"Your right, we should report it when we get back to camp" Solarclaw meowed much more seriously then his usual playful tone. He started padding forward again and his mood improved when they reached the Sandclan border. The wind was blowing off the moutains so you couldn't smell the sea, but their was no mistaking Sandclan's rocky, fishy scent-marker. "What can you smell?" Solarclaw quized Spicepaw.

Spicepaw wrinkled her nose. "S-SandClan?" She mewed uncertainly, sniffing it again.

((There is a small tree fire in Sandclan and mudclan has a kit iver there. They plan on go over soon. Just to give you a little plot update. Maybe panther atacking should wait a little later.))

Flint stepped out into the sun. She purred as she saw her no-furs had left some milk out for her. She lapped it up but didn't touch the mush. Flint hopped down from the porch and headed back to the barn. She didn't live with the no-furs in the den but lived in the stable with their horses. Her gaze turned to the no-fur's kits climbing on the horses. Flint sliped under the fence and took a stroll to think. She remembered when a gaint cat and escaped from a house nearby recently. Flint walked farther than she had before but soon grew tired and found a shaded spot to nap.
