Ona ran as fast as she could and tackled Odelay.
“Uncle did you thing I was going to say small and cuddly for the rest of my life? No I must grow! In fact one day I’ll grow just as big as you are!” She said dropping the fish by her side. A large smile crossed her face.
“Right now I’m about Auntie Kamea’s size.” She said with a glee.
She faced towards Kamea remembering her answer so you just had it all this time?”

Kamea nodded to the now-grown Ona. "Yes, I don't quite remember ever being without it." She never really remembered much for very long anyways, but then, she never even realized that either.
(lol Odelay is such a stoner xD)

Nereus sighed, not feeling a need to explain anything, simply wanting solitude or a place to stay for the night, as he wasn't planning to find his way out of the forest soon, and his pride would hardly let him ask these new friends to help him.
"Loki and Sierra... they're, well, they're like hunters. They're really fast... and cunning, and, ugh. You don't wanna mess with them." he sighed, rubbing his shoulder blade that made contact with the ground when he was pounced on by Sierra.
"But what I meant was, just... we need a place to stay, and since you live nearby, anyway...?" he trailed off, not quite sure how else to word it without sounding rather dumb.
He shut himself up with a stray paw and listened carefully for her answer.

Ona quickly jumped off Odelay.
“I’m very sorry if I hurt you uncle.” She said before turning toward Nereus
“Loki? Sierra? Nope doesn’t ring a bell.” She said as she walked back toward the stream

"Oh, that's alright," he answered sweetly, tipping his head into a small nest of pine needles on the floor.
"They're usually way down south."

"I can at least show you some place warm and how to tell if there's anyone living there already? I... actually don't have a home I go to every night because I go somewhere new all the time." She chuckled and blushed, hoping she covered up her lapse of memory well enough.
She turned to nuzzle Ona. "You'll need a home too I suppose?"
Listening to Nereus' story about Loki and Sierra, she tilted her head, "I've never met anyone like that. Most things in the forest are small and will scatter if you approach."

Ona smile and replied to Kamea
“Yea, Auntie.”
Soon after she remembered about Odelay
“Uncle don’t you have a home we can stay in?” She asked turning towards him.

"Some place... warm..." he mused, snuggling into his nest of leaves like a bed.
Nereus loved warmth more than anything, summer was his absolute favourite season. He smiled to himself.
"Yes, that would be great!" he announced, closing his eyes in utter bliss.
"But Loki and Sierra, well... they're horribly strong. You'd definitely wish they'd run away," he laughed unpleasantly, settling his head into a small groove of his 'nest'.

All this talk about homes and what not got Odelay thinking about other things. Mainly his minds were stuck in the thoughts of eating fish. A roar of a stumache growl bellowed from his tummy.
"A home?" Reality struck him back to earth, "Hmm... Not that I can think of... Unless everywhere is a home? Than yes I do. Your in it right now Ona." The Tae scratched his head with his tail, "Loki and Sierra... is that a type of food? Sounds tastey!" Another howl of hunger echoed out of his tummy.

Ona began to laugh
“Are you hungry uncle?” She asked with a smile before jumping at a fish and catching it.
She then shuck the water off and dropped the fish in front of him

Kamea nodded to Nereus and smiled. "That's good. We can look before the light dies out, or else it will be too dark." She shook her wand absently and laughed, "Even with my wand, the night still isn't the best of times to look for something."
She turned to Odelay and laughed. He reminded her of herself, sort of.

Nereus burst out laughing at Odelay's comment.
"A kind of food?!?" he spluttered, burying his nose into the pile of pine needles.
"You try to eat those two and you're as good as food yourself," he whined happily, flicking his tail back and forth.
Nereus wasn't one for jokes, but he loved friends more than he loved anything else. So while it may have not been in his nature, he did it anyway, for the sake of them (and himself, he supposed). Nereus smiled.
"Is everyone ready to go search, then? It'll be night soon." he purred, shaking a stray needle off his fur.

“Then what are we waiting for let’s get started!” Ona said with glee.
“I remember that before I found Uncle Odelay and Auntie Kamea that I slept in a cave for a night or two. I don’t remember where since my eyes were good yet and I could get a clear view on it.” She said coming out of the water with a fish so she could eat.

Nereus chuckled.
"Caves aren't exactly the warmest of places, Ona." he educated, standing up on all four legs.
"But we can try to find it; there'll definitely be something we need there."

Kamea's wings fluttered as she tried to think, "Well, I've seen holes in the trees that are high up. Usually they belonged to birds, sometimes they still belong to birds. I like the kind where the holes are at the bottom where the tree split, nice and cozy. Though I like sleeping in the high ones sometimes because it's nice being away from everyone on the ground. I don't think I've seen many caves but sleeping in rocks doesn't appeal to me. I also somehow remember sleeping in a hollow in the ground once... maybe... a long time ago...." She spoke really fast as she pondered the possibilities and blushed when she realized she was babbling. "Ummm, we can go back the way we came from??"
