Tobi is Obito and i've seen a manga picture where Kakashi breaks Tobi's mask and it's Obito's face.

no i think that madara is tobi because how would someone like obito know everything starting from the destruction of the uchiha up to the attack of the nine tails that tobi tells sasuke later and why would he tell pain and sasuke that he is madara ?? one last thing when tobi shows sasuke part of his face with his sharingan he uses the eye that is covered by his mask the left eye!! ANBU no Suna_Tatsuya ok if u beleve that Tobi is Madara... then theres something wrong with u, everyone thinks its him but how could it be? hed be like 90 years old, and not even ninjas are very strong at that age... figure it out... Madara was around the same age as the First Hokage, the First Hokage is Tsunade's grandfather... and Tsunade is 50 years old... so for any respectable person... The third Hokage would be about 90 if he was still alive... so that means Madara would be about 90 too... theres only one possible way Tobi is Madara, and thats if he was put into another body using Orochimaru's body swap jutsu.... personally, i think Tobi is Obito, i mean, Obito wasnt actually seen being crushed, his right side was crushed but then Rin and Kakashi left before he actually died... so i think wat might have happened, is that because it was Zetsu that wanted him in the Akatsuki, found him and was going to eat him, but seen that he wasnt dead, and that he had the Sharingan, Thinking that he was as strong as Itachi, decided to let him live, and possibly brought him to Kakuzu, who stiched and bolted him up, because it is said in the Manga that he has bolts on his right side, and wat for, for probably holding his bones together cuz his right side was crushed... and he believes that he has the strength of Madara Uchiha, because just gaining the Sharingan would have made him believe that, Obito was childish and immature like Naruto, so thats possibly y... and he only has one eye visible, his right eye... thats because his left eye was given to Kakashi... i think that in ch. 385 or 386... or sometime soon... we will finally get the answer of who Tobi is really....

that pic? it isn't obito. At least, not anymore. Tobi is the founder of the uchiha clan, Madara uchiha, who, in killing his brother and taking his eyes, gained the eternal mongekyo sharingan. he then used these powers to controll the Nine-tails, still being defeated by the hisharame, it the final valley. He later kills Itachi, who gives sasuke his powers at the last second, opening the path for the eternal sharingan to him. The actual body, i do believe, is Obito, ressurectd by orochimaru, but with madara's soul. During the Uchiha hunt arc, i do believe, we find out that itachi was ordered by Kanoha to kill his family, and while he was getting ready to fullfill his mission, was approached by Madara, who wished t destroy the whole village. Itachi reasoned with him, allowing he village to live in exchange for him to join the akatsuki. ~speculation~ Madara wanted Itachi's mongekyo, or Sasuke to achieve it, so he could make another with the eternal.~end speculation~ Also, Kisame recognized him as the Mizukage, whom he tried to kill. And he has his left eye.  P.S.- the final battle happened 80 years ago.
