"Thank you for the help! Good bye, and I hope to see you again!" Ryo said, and walked away. Finally, something good about this place, a nice person to talk to, he thought, and dragged the cooler back to camp.

Although it seemed extraordinary, Apathetic - now sitting on the bench outside the ruined building, taking a short breather - had emptied the structure behind him of it's rubble, broken stones and all; the floor, walls, and ceiling were even clear of dust and dry vegetation, though any brooms and such that he might have used were no-where in sight.

Standing up, he regarded the building with some evident degree of satisfaction; now that it was prepared, he could start turning it into a livable domicile.

... Well, right after he sealed off thost last few chambers, that is.

"Need a little more help?" Riddle asked, looking at the removed rubble. Hrm...more magic, maybe I should just stop hiding it, he thought.

"Hm... Maybe not just yet," responded Apathetic, glancing over his shoulder. "Most of the inside's clear... I'm just trying to figure out what I should do with those last few rooms. Proteus still seems to react strangely to them... I figured I'd just seal them up until I know more about why they were blocked off the first time."

"If he's reacting, it might also be something to check out..." Riddle said. "Let's take a look and see if we can figure out why. It could be that there's a couple more stone feathers back there..." Riddle took a deep breath. His face was red, like he'd been running all day.

"If you'd like," agreed Apathetic amiably, casting a curious sidelong glance; his own good breeding, however, prevented him from voicing any questions he might have, so he just went on to say, "I was hoping to have it finished soon, though. I wanted it all set up when Proteus - and now, Aela - arrives, and by my calculations the next full moon isn't that far off."

"Yeah I know, so let's make it quick then," Riddle said, entering the building and walking to the back.

Apathy gave a slight shrug and glanced down at his wrist, as though checking that both feathers were there before heading back into the building, having a mental debate as he went over wallpaper or paint versus paneling of some kind.

"Did you ever get any information about that stone feather, by the way?" he asked, "Or was it really just a carving of some kind?"

"I'm still not sure, whether it is or not, I haven't tried to see if there's an aura yet," he said.

Wtih a light step Liberty walked into this new place, still on a search. She was becoming discouraged and longed to see a face she knew. With an outward sigh the small child hououza kept going, unaware of the stares she was receiving.

A brief gust of wind ruffled the tree-branches of the woods, and then Apathetic, Aela and Proteus alongside him, was standing in one of the many clearings, this one not far from the house. "Are you sure you don't mind?" he said, as though continuing the conversation. "I could have someone stay with you two..."

"We'll be fine!" assured Aela, her quiet voice as cheerful as could be. "This part of the forest is safe, right?" And she glanced to Proteus, who nodded with a faint smile. "See?" She smiled at Apathetic, saying, "We'll be fine, Papa."

"All right," he relented, resting a hand on each of their shoulders. "Just watch out for each other, you know, and don't wander too far off; I'll be back in a little while, okay?"

The children nodded, and with a fond smile, Apathetic was gone in another rush of wind; Aela, turning to Proteus, said, "Um... So what now?"

"Oh no...she can't be here...can she?"
Riddle growled and walked at Liberty. She was supposed to be at Flame's, why was she here? Then again, Flame did live close.
"Liberty, what are you doing here?"

"Maybe back down to the lake?" suggested Proteus; Aela considered this for a moment, as her "brother" continued, "It's not that far away... But at least we'll be doing something then."

After another moment, Aela nodded and smiled brightly. "Let's go to the lake!" she agreed, taking Proteus by the hand and starting off into the woods, in the general direction of the lake that gave the area it's name.

Liberty looked up with watery eyes, then she saw who it was and looked away, "Go away Riddle, leave me be... I'm looking for Momma... I won't stay... I'm... I know I look like a child but am I really?! I'm not! I'm just small!" She looked and sounded hurt and offended, against her will tears that had a red/white/blue theme to them fell down her face and she rubbed them away quickly. Okay so maybe she was still chilidsh... just a little?
