We've got just a 2 month oil supply magazined. So, when Russia decides they pause or close delivery - we're cooked. And it doesn't even need to be closing that for us. Enough if Belarus or Ukraine don't want to pay any new price Russia would propose them. They're on the way from Russia... And there you have this German's idea to have oil pipes from Russia under Baltic sea, outside our territory (even though it's closer to go through our waters) and without even asking us if we want to be a part of that. And we're supposed to be "friends" with Germany and have a sort of solidarity in EU... the U.S is sitting on enough oil to last hundreds of years, I think they should use it but not depend on it. I mean still get it from other countries but less and make up the difference with our own oil. Well, yeah. Poland is screwed if Russia decides to stop selling it to them, but I'm sure another country is willing, for a higher price though. The problem is the type of oil. As far as I understand the oil differs from one to another, and you need your factories to be able to refine one of the types. Our ;ink to Russian oil is obvious for historical reasons. The problem is we need exactly this oil, though it's also available from Kazakhstan and other countries in that region. But... the other thing is - the "streaming" supply of it. There are pipes only from Russia, currently... And our ports are not able to take much oil either... so... what Germans are aiming at is simply unacceptable. But well... our history shows that Germany, Russia (and France) are not ones to rely on. when it comes right down to it, you generally can't rely on anyone for anything neutral

Hmmm... Anyway, if not for OUR pilots UK would have been bombed even stronger. Take all look at the statistics of which pilots of the RAF shot down most Luftwaffe planes. Of course, UK wouldn't help us in 1939. Though the real blame goes on French who had only 1/3 of German forces against them and still didn't attack Hitler and kill any tries from him at birth. Should they attack we wouldn't have Stalin in our territory two weeks into the war and could really focus on defending ourselves for much longer. Well, seeing the actions of 1940 I wouldn't blame French as much, I guess... They defended themselves as long as we did a year earlier even though they had a bigger army, a bigger territory, _active_ British help and no Stalin behind their backs... Oh well...
