"Agreed." Mia said "You may all go to independent study for the remainder of the period." She said acknowledging their achievements. As the small class dispersed Mia shook her head. "I just can't get rid of you two can I?" She laughed to herself. "So much for being a stray cat."

Zane slithered off mia and transformed into his human form. "I think we will need to keep an eye on him."

Zane walked out of the room and went to lunch, getting a steak. As he walked to the tree he first met mia under, he noticed that someone carved his name and an X over it. "I t seems someone doesnt like me."

Up in the high branches of a garden tree Mia lay sprawled across a limb. Her tail hung down, swaying back and forth as she cat-napped in the shaded branches.

Zane sat down, thinking about who would hate him, then remembered that everyone hated him. so he just ate his steak and transformed into his snake form, going into the tree and curled around himself and fell asleep.

"Mreow..." Mia meowed as the rain hit her skin and woke her from her slumber. Her copper eyes looked toward the sky and there she spotted the 'student' from before. Curiosity peaked in Mia's thoughts and she slunk down the tree, heading toward the building who's roof-top he had taken perch on.
