(( I love Death note too! =) ))
"Of course my father doesn't do the same thing!" Andy immediately shot at him as soon as he mentioned her father might also do this, which was absurd. "No one does this! Only you, it's crazy," Andy couldn't believe this, was he really that paranoid? This date just got from weird to worse. "Why can't you just, I don't know, talk to people and get to know them that way instead of running background checks on them? That's crazy! Not that I have any hing to hide, but I prefer to keep my personal life personal and it's actually scary that you know more stuff about me than I want you to know." Andy didn't even notice the waiter had come over, who was staring between Seto and Andy curiously. She just looked up at him, wildly, like as if she was going to accuse him of something. "I want the chicken" she demanded before thrusting her menu at him.
Minute by minute Atem was getting more fearful of what Sam would think of him now. All his past worries and anger were far from his mind now, right now he only cared about what Sam was thinking about him, and of course it was bad. "I-I" He didn't know how to start, how was he going to tell her he was actually an ancient pharaoh from ancient Egypt millions of years ago and he had possessed Yugi's body? Yea, that were certainly go over well, if she wasn't already afraid then she definitely was going to be. Slumping his shoulders as if looking ashamed of himself, Atem sill couldn't look in to her eyes, so he looked away and tightly closed his. He had a take a huge breath, he couldn't believe he was saying this, but he deserved to give Sam an explanation. "I'm.. not who you think I am. I am actually an pharaoh from Egypt millions of years ago..." He couldn't finish.

((im only on episode 7 but its so good! I'll watch up to 15 online and then just start watching it once a week on adult swim I guess, then I want to start another one. Ever since I lost my job I've been doing a lot more anime stuff. Oh yeah I probably forgot to tell you but a few weeks ago the toy company I worked for went bankrupt, KB Toys, so I lost my job))
"Is it?" He challenged when she said it was crazy. "I couldnt possibly count all the times someone has tried to take my life or my brother. The sad fact is that you cant trust anyone in this world. So I take precaution." He justified hiself. Everything he's been through has taught him that above all people cant be trusted. When did this date become a debate? He was kind of enjoying himself though. She was smart and fiesty. Someone who could challenge him and who wasnt afraid or tried to suck up to him. Though that all did come with a level of annoyance.
sam looked very skeptical. Was he just trying to mess with her head now. She was too scared to think straight right now after almost being blown to pieces and witnessing Yugi do some weird mind thing. She didnt know what to think but him being some ancient egyptian pharaoh made no sense! She didnt trust him anymore. Not that she did before so much but she at least left like he was a good person. Well he did hurt someone who was trying to kill her. Did that make him good? She didnt know! She didnt know anything right now. "Youre crazy!" She yelled at him. But she thought she was the one losing it.

(( I know, that anime is so addicting, I thought it was going to be so stupid when I first watching it, but it's really cool. I usually don't like anime either, i was in to it a lot when I was in middle school and beginning of high school, but after that I just wasn't in to it. Yu Gi Oh and Death Note are pretty much the only two anime's I really ever watch =) and I use to not actually like Yu Gi Oh, I was in to it in middle school (I had a crush on Pegasus lol) but then I grew out of it, then I really got back in to it again. But I've seen almost all the episodes for Death note so far and I have the movie.
And athts so crazy about your job, even since I've landed in Iraq I hear about all these places going out of business. Thats horrible =(. ))
After hearing what Seto just said, Andy couldn't help but make a crinkle her face up as she stared over at Seto strangely, for once her mind went blank. Someone tried to kill him or his brother? Why? Well, she knew why, but why would someone go to such lengths? And how many times has that happened to him if he is that paranoid about it? Andy didn't want to think, but somehow she didn't know how serious she could take Seto, and was now more determined than ever to never see him again. "If people are trying to take your life, repeatedly, that only says what kind of a person you are," Andy pointed out, she now looked a little bit more calm as she reached for her water. This was the strangest date she has ever had, or even the strangest person she has ever met.
Sam's word's pierced through Atem more than he could imagine and flinched away as if an actual sword was piercing his heart. He had known that he couldn't keep this a secret forever, and how dare he have these emotions for Sam when he knew he couldn't honor them, he wasn't even a part of this world. A part of his wished he was still alive, during this time, that would increase his chances of being with Sam, that is if they ever got past fighting which he was hoping for more and more everyday. But he can't, and he knew that, and he was stupid for thinking otherwise. Sam might as well think him as a monster and let him be, he might as well feel the rejection now than much later? He had to stop kidding himself, he wasn't here for good, sometime he will have to pass over, he can't just keep hiding in Yugi's body. "At least let me explain..." There was one thing about Atem, no matter how terrible he felt inside, no matter how much he felt like he would break, his voice never shook, it was always the same bold, deep voice, the voice of a pharaoh. He finally looked up at Sam, almost pleadingly, as he went to check her expression and to hope that she will let him talk.

((There's a movie? haha i didnt know, haha you liked pegusus?! I've only heard of a select few liking him. He was a cool character but ew haha! I just cant outgrow anime. I love it, especially yugioh. Its been how many years? I just cant let it go
but yeah a lot of places are going bankrupt it sucks. Now i have to find a new job))
"You mean successful, increadibly rich, a genious, one of the elite duelists of Japan?" He said smirking. Of course he knew what she really meant and his ruthless businessman actions have gotten him into some trouble but he succeeding in most of his targeted killing where others failed. But those were secrets he would take to his grave. At any right he got targetted because of his given response and his other actions.
Sam looked at him skeptically. Did she really want to listen to his insane story? Well she was curious. She loved power and he just seemed all the more attractive after beating that guy. However she was scared as hell after all this. She looked so unsure, but there was somthing about him that she just trusted. "Fine. You can explain as you escort me back to my room..." She said like an order. "There was another guy who grabbed me and put the explosive on. I...." She didnt want to openly admit that she was scared but she knew another might come after her so she should have Yugi around, or whatever his name was.

(( Yeah, there is two live action movies and a movie about L himself =). And I don't know why I had a crush on Pegasus when I was 13 lol, but thank God I don't anymore. ))
"No, not exactly what I had in mind," Andy spoke quietly as she looked down at the table, doubtful that he was targeted for those reasons. "You know, my father doesn't speak very highly of you," Andy looked back up at him, speaking softly as if teasing him. "He rarely tells me about his clients, but he did tell me about you," Andy decided to leave it at that as she smirked at him over the bouquet of flowers. Of course her father didn't say much, just that he didn't like Kaiba very well, but she wasn't going to say that, make it sound like her father constantly tells her bad things about him to get him stirred up.
Instantly feeling his old habit kick in, Atem looked up at Sam in bewilderment and hostile as she demanded him to walk her to her room. However, his face softened immediately, but to his pained state, as he realized that he should do that anyway. He wasn't expecting Sam to still want to be alone with him after this, but he was glad she still at least wanted him to walk her home, which made his insides stir with a bit of happiness. Of course he had to walk Sam home, she just got attacked, what if it happened again? And Atem was not there to save her like he just did? He wouldn't forgive himself, even if she had refused he would still walk with her to her room. Places both his hands in his pocket, Atem started walking by Sam's side, constantly looking over his shoulder at her. He didn't know how to start, "My real name is Atem," he spoke first, thinking that was one way to start. He had to pause before continuing. "I/ use to rule a kingdom millions of years ago, when dueling monsters first appeared. Did you know that we Egyptians also played a similar game to duel monsters? Only ours was real, we called on real spirits, lives were at stake when you played." He decided to let that sink in to her mind as he looked back over at her.

((oh cool I'll have to watch those. All i did yesterday was watch it haha I'm at episode 19))
Seto narrowed his eyes a bit as she said her father didnt speak well of him. Well he didnt think he would but he didnt think he would have spoke of him at all. He gave a shrug, thinking of how to respond. "He's probably just jealous. I'm much younger then him and my company has already surpassed his in a number of ways." He didnt realize by practically insulting her father he was only getting her to hate him more. But his arrogance never seaced(sp?).
sam stepped to the side a bit to move a little further away from him as they walked back towards her room together. She would have to remember to call someone about the bomb. Someone might get hurt if they just left it there. She wrapped her arms around herself. She wasnted to pretend to be alright and not scared but she couldnt. She just wasnt as strong as her brother. Though her attitude towards Atem didnt change much. "Atem." She repeated his name skeptically, like this was all some joke. She smirked a little. "Okay. I'll play along. But this all sounds insane. You cant possibly expect me to believe this." She said. Maybe he was just trying to destract her so she wouldnt feel scared? Then again it did explain the weird thing he did. "You? a king? ha." She made fun of him. She gave some thought to what he said. She liked magic, and the thought of it. Ever since her parents died she loved to watch cartoons and other fantasy things, just to escape the real world. But Seto told her that it was stupid. That she needed to wake up to reality. "Actually. I did hear something like that... from mokuba. Seto told me to disregaurd it..." She said.

"Jealous?" Andy said, almost outraged, as she sat up straight and leaned across the table at Seto, both hands now gripping the side of the table as if trying to control her anger. She don't know why, but that insult shook her to the bone, she was highly protective of her father. All these years, Andy was more close to her father than anybody else in the world, of course now he worked a lot more than he use to do but Andy always understood that. Every time Andy got hurt her father was there, her father supported her through anything and always made sure she was doing the best. Making an insult at her father was like insulting her, she wouldn't have it. "How can my father be jealous of a manipulative corporate monster like you? My father's business is doing great and he has a wonderful family and a happy life. He is a wonderful person and everyone out there speaks nothing but highly of him, but you! What do you have, huh?"
Atem tried to ignore her comments, but he felt it spearing his heart as she continued to insult him though he spoke the truth. He gulped, "No, it's all true." Atem spoke again, trying not to sound insulted as he did. "Seto knows, he pretends not to, but he does know. He was there. One of the Priest when I was pharaoh was Priest Set, he was my cousin and most loyal companion, I believe Seto Kaiba is a descendant of him. Kaiba and I are linked, just as I and Yugi are linked, but Kaiba denies it." Atem tried to explain, pausing before continuing. "When my life was taken, my spirit didn't pass on, instead it inhabited the Millennium puzzle, this millennium puzzle, for years and years. Yugi put the puzzle back together, and my spirit was brought back to life."

((oh now I cant wait! I was a bit dissapointed right now. I dont like light much as himself. I like the evil side of him when he has the Death note so much more intersting so I took a break since i was getting kind of bored
but I was looking at the episode list and I accidently read part of one and it gave away the ending crying I was so upset, its no fun in a suspense series to know the ending crying ))
"Its simple. I'm better then him." He answered. He couldnt remember his own father well and gozoburo was a terible father. The only use for a father was their money and to surpass them. Though he may have wanted a family, or his family back but now he knew all he needed was his little brother who's always been by his side. Seto rememebered being asked the same question by Tea in duelest kingdom. He narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms. "I have everything I need." My brother, my company and my deck. Its all I need. He thought. His cell phone rang and he answered it. "Kaiba." His eyes widened slightly as he heard his younger brother on the other end, saying he accidently broke a glass and stepped on a piece and no one was at the Kaiba Estate and he didnt know what to do. "I'll be right there Mokuba." He said and stood up. "I have to get home. Youre comming with me. We can finish our date afterwards." He said like an order. The waiter just brought over their food. Seto told them to wrap it as he left a large amount of money on the table. He grabbed her wrist and walked to the entrence. They had their food prepared for them as they walked out the door. Normally he would just leave his date but he couldnt let this end yet. Once they were in the car he stepped on the gas and headed home, going much faster then on their way there.
Sam rolled her eyes. Did he even believe in the stuff he was saying? She didnt believe him. She stopped and turned to face him, crossing her arms. "Well prove it." She demanded. "You claim all this stuff to be true but you havnt proved to me anything. I dont believe you." She concluded. How could any of it be true? Mokuba believed it but he was a little kid. "And it doesnt entirely explain what you did to that guy. You have magical powers or something?" She said like she was mocking him.

(( lol, I usually do that anyways xP I shouldn't, but I read a head lol. In fact, I usually read about the show until I watch it. ))
"What?" Andy only had time to say, Seto moved so fast and so urgently, Andy didn't have time to even think about what he was doing. If she did know, she would have ultimately refused to go with him, but he had such a tight grip on her wrist Andy couldn't help but be dragged along and she didn't know what was going on. Just as Seto pulled the car out and started driving, Andy was looking around wildly like as if she didn't know how she got from her seat in the restaurant to the car."What? What is this about?" Andy demanded as she looked over at Seto angrily, "Where are you taking me now? What is the hurry?"
Just as Sam accused him of making all this up, Atem found himself stopping in his steps staring at Sam in bewilderment and shock. Mostly because he had no way of really proving it, how can he? He would think that what he did to that duelist was enough to make her believe that he was at least not of this world. But that wasn't enough? Of course, she was Seto's sister, Seto wouldn't believe anything even if it slapped him in the face, and he wouldn't be surprised if she was the same way. But with nothing to do, how can he prove this to her? She'll just ignore that rock at the museum that told the story of duel monsters and him as king, she'll just disregard it as a coincidence or something, and he couldn't take her inside the millennium puzzle to show her. Then how?
But another part was also shocked that she was still acting this way towards him, did she really hate him that much? He kept trying to tell his mind that she did like him, but didn't know how or was afraid to express it. But he didn't know why he kept telling himself that, she obviously did not care for him at all. He was just acting like a fool, he shouldn't have followed his heart in the first place. He didn't even know why his heart was beating for her anyways, at first he just ignored it to the point that he was lying to himself, but now that he realized his feelings he has felt nothing from pain from her. He's just being stupid. He suddenly felt out of hope as he looked away from Sam and silently shook his head. "No, you know what, nevermind, you wont believe me anyways, so why would I waste my time telling you," he said in a defensive, angry tone. He looked back up, but not at her, he looked straight ahead and began walking again, "Let's just get you to your room already. You've done enough for the night"

"Relax. We're going to my place. My little brother called me." He explained. He didnt explain anything else as they soon arrived at the mansion. He went through the gates and pulled up to the front door. "C'mon. This wont take long." He got out and didnt bother to open her door for her as he walked into the house, leaving the door open behind him.
Mokuba tackled his borother in a hug. "Seto!" He said happily.
Seto's eyes instantly softened and he ruffled his younger brother's hair. Then his eyes turned to a puzzled look. Wasnt Mokuba's foot hurt? How could he be running around? "Mokuba you shouldnt be walking around with glass in your foot!" He scolded worriedly.
Mokuba looked up, smiling nervously. "Well actually big brother, I lied. I just wanted you to come home! You work too much! C'mon lets play some games!" He said happily. He looked behind Seto and noticed Andy. "Who's she?" Seto never brought any girls home.
Seto looked a bit ticked off. But then again it was his fault for not spending any time with his brother recently. And Sam wasnt home to entertain him. But still! He was on a date! And even if he had just been at work that would have messed up his entire work schedual! "She's my date. Andy, Mokuba, Mokuba, Andy." he itnroduced boredly.
Mokuba smiled and hurried over to her. "Hi! I'm Mokuba!" He said cheerfully. "Seto must really like you! He's never brought any other of his dates home before!" He said.
Seto turned around to face them and crossed his arms. "I thought you were hurt, I wasnt going to waste time bringing her home first. He said. "And futhermore, Mokuba, dont ever do this again." He scolded. "Lieing that you hurt yourself just to get me to come home, next time if you really are hurt I wont believe you." He said.
Mokuba turned a little and frowned. "Sorry big brother..."
Sam looked surprised he just gave up. So did that mean he was lying the whole time or that he had been telling the truth but just couldnt prove it? He was angry with her again. She but her lip, looking away when they began to walk. She had actually enjoyed being with him. She just couldnt control her attitude. And how was she supposed to trust him? She didnt know about his story but, she just felt so, so strange around him. But it was a good strange. She didnt understand it. If she let this end now would they just duel tomorrow and that would be the end of it? Back to their insults. "Actually. Youre taking me to your room. Those guys probably know where my room is. I'm not risking it." She said like another order, like he had no choice, she decides everything.

"Your little brother called you?" Andy repeated, not sounding as angry before but feeling a little curious as she looked away from Seto. His brother called him, and he rushes home like that? She began to wonder if his brother was okay, why else would he run home so frantically like that? Choosing not to say anything, Andy stayed silent the rest of the trip to his house, which Andy couldn't help but have her jaw drop as he pulled up front. This was where he lived? Just him and his siblings? As Seto almost jumped out of the car and headed towards the front door, Andy opened up her door and slowly walked after Seto, not feeling the need to rush as much as he did. She was sure that whatever it is Seto could handle it, or else he would called an ambulance, she Andy walked up the front steps and walked through the front door without an invitation.
Seto's little brother (Or she assumed so, as they looked nothing a like) was already at the front door by the time Seto came home. Only, he didn't looked hurt at all, and hearing the conversation, Mokuba just wanted Seto to come home early. "Um, it's nice to meet you, Mokuba," Andy told him, feeling slightly awkward as Seto's little brother ran up to her. Though, both looked up at Seto as he scolded Mokuba, making Mokuba feel bad, and making Andy feel out of place. She didn't know why,. but seeing Seto talk to, get worried, and even scold him shedded a new light on him that Andy had not seen yet. It made her thinking twice about him, that maybe he wasn't as bad as she thought, that there was a human side to him. This made her think about what she said back at the restaurant, that he didn't have anything, and she instantly felt bad for her words. "Seto, maybe you should stay here with your brother, if he wants you to play with him so bad..."
"Wait.. my room?" Atem didn't see that coming, he thought they were going to drop her off at her room, but now it was his room? All along or did it just changed? He looked from Sam to the long hallway in confusion, no longer feeling frustrated or pained as before. If she was going to stay in his room, then where is he going to stay? He assumed Sam would just kick him out of his own room, which he hated to admit but he didn't want to deal with getting kicked out of his room right now. But hse was rich enough and he was sure she could just ask for another room, why his? "But then, where am I going to sleep?" Atem had to ask, he knew she was not asking them to share the same bed. And he thought she wanted to get away from him, why would she insist on staying with him?

((haha i'll do that soemtimes, like if i think the ending will be bad then i dotn want to bother with it or if I'm at a boring part to see if it will be worth getting through. I just finished ep 25 last nihgt of death note! I cant believe L died! crying but I'm so glad Light is Kira again hehe))
Seto looked back at Andy. There was no way he was just going to let her leave without being completely infatuated with him. "But... what about our date?"
Mokuba giggled. "Its so weird to see you with a girl Seto." He snickered and looked back at Andy with his hands on his hips and a smirk on his face. "My big brother is a genious when it comes to most things but when it comes to girls he's an idiot!" He said teasingly with a laugh.
Seto was going to ring his little neck! How dare his little brother embarress him like that. He crossed his arms stubbornly. "You dont know what youre talking about Mokuba." He said, now acting like his sibling again instead of a parent.
Mokuba rolled his eyes. Since Seto couldnt keep a girlfriend he would have to help him. "So andy do you want to play some games with us?" He asked cheerfully, looking at her with puppy dog eyes.
Seto smirked a bit. Maybe Mokuba could help him with this after all.
"Yeah, why? You have a problem with that?" She said like a threat. She could always get another room or even stay with Mokuba but she could always give the excuse that no one would be up at this hour and that she didnt want to put Mokuba in danger. "The couch, floor, i dont care." She said, basically saying that she would get the bed. She had been afraid of him but then again love is blinding, all she wanted now was to stay with him.

(( I know, I was so sad! L was the coolest, I couldn't believe he died. The next guy is really weird, and not as cute as L was, so I almost stopped watch Death Note after that lol. I hate Light though, I dont know why. I like him better in the live action movie. ))
Not helping but chuckle as Mokuba said Seto was clueless about girls, Andy assumed he didn't know about Seto's many model dates. But then he asked if she was going to stay too, which took her by surprise. "A game? Right now?" Andy felt a bit confused and shocked as she took a step back, wide-eyed. She just assumed taht Seto was going to stay here and she can grab a ride home and leave them be, but he wanted her to stay? And play what game exactly? Andy wasn't the best at interacting with littlier kids, and she hardly acted like a little kid herself when she was young, she she didn't know what to do. But then she saw that Seto wasn't exactly objecting to the idea, which made her feel more uncomfortable. "Um... okay. I guess so."
(( lol, I think we forgot about Mokuba, that he was at the tournament, I forgot. Oh well.
"No," Atem said immediately, shaking his head as he gave her a mock smile. "You're going to be in my room, I can make the couch for you. I need my sleep," Atem didn't think twice about what he was saying. Before all this started he probably would have willing give up his bed for her. But why would he now? She obviously still hated him, she didn't care for him at all, and she was still being rude to him, so why should he? A part of him did, just to be nice to her, but he had to stop kidding himself, they weren't going to be together and they couldn't be together, and him bending over backwards for her wasn't going to help his emotions. "Maybe if you would act nicer towards me..."

((haha I like Light he reminds me of Seto kind of, maybe its just the hair, but yeah i really liked L! Like i thought he might die but I thought it would be more towards the end! Now I'm a lot less motivated to finish watching it but I will. Is the movie just like the series? i saw a preview but it just seems the same. my favorite part with L was when he revealed that all those detectives were really all him and he turned to them and was like "I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret." I loved it, he was so cute! and amazingly smart. Who could possibly replace him?))
((((Oh yeah, Mokuba's at both places haha well maybe we'll say he flew home this morning or something haha. ))
Mokuba never heard much from his big brother about dating so he just assumed he was bad at it. Mokuba nodded happily. "Yeah, Seto is a top gamer! I am too! We always play games!" He said, grabbing her hand and pulling her down the hall towards their game room.
Seto followed them, sticking his hands in his pockets. "You make me sound like a nerd Mokuba." He pointed out. Gaming was his passion. hence the gaming company.
Mokuba thought it was cool that his brother was good at games. So he was trying to brag about him to make her like him more. "He's made the best games and most of the arcades in domio are filled with games that Seto has the high score in! He even beat or Stepfather at chest when we were little."
"Thats enough Mokuba!" Seto said, not wanting any more about them told to her.
Mokuba frowned, glancing back at him. "Sorry Seto." They came to a room filled with games. "What do you want to play Andy?" Mokuba asked.
Sam looked a bit surprised and ticked off. She always got what she wanted now. "but I'm a girl. Youre supposed to be a gentleman and let me have the bed!" She said. She heard him say maybe if she was nicer to him. "Youre my opponent, why would I be nice to you?" Really she had just started to treat him badly because Seto did. And she didnt want him to know how she really felt. Though she barely recognized it herself, she was instinctfully defensive because of her fearing rejection.

(( Well, the movie is very different in some ways. They do a lot of the same scenes, but a lot of stuff is very different. And then the second movie is even very different. As Mokuba grabbed her hand and started dragging her away, Andy couldn't help but follow the kid and keep her mouth closed as she listened to him ramble off about Seto. Of course, he made Seto look like a giant nerd, but Andy still couldn't help but smile at the though, thinking it was a little cute and at how much Mokuba loved Seto. She couldn't believe what she was thinking now, she was actually excited to be staying with Seto, but she couldn't help it. Why had her thoughts been persuaded so easily? She didn't understand why, but hse wasn't about to reject them either. As Mokuba stopped talking and asked her waht games to play after Seto scolded him once more, Andy cocked her head and looked around. Come to think of it, she didn't play games, at all, never in her life has she. "Um... I don't know. I don't really play games," Andy spoke quietly, like as if it was absurd and it was that she hasn't played games. "why don't you pick one?"
"So?" Atem replied, keeping his hands in his pockets as he continued walking. "You're suppose to be ladylike, but you're always mean and rude to me." Atem pointed out. "Always." Atem couldn't help but congratulate himself, he thought it was going to be harder than it was before to act this way towards her. Ever since he let his feelings get the better of him he found it hard to act mean towards Sam, he hated it and it made him feel terrible, so he tried to stop. But now he had to start it again, in hopes of tricking his mind to fall out of love with her, he should have known it was wrong in the first place and would never happen. "And exactly, your my opponent, so why would I be nice to you? You're never nice to me, so why should I give you the courtesy."
