Sykn took her hand away from her pistol as she heard Alex and Yori come into the building. She ducked her head out of her office to see Alex was accompanied by some pretty strong looking guards, a bit over down if you ask her. "Of course, I was going to start working on that...but something else grabbed my attention for a second..." She said, stepping back into her office. She pulled out her work on 'The Crow', back into her filling cabinet and locked it up.
She pulled off the shoulder bag and set it down next to her desk and glanced around her office. She didn't see anything missing so she quietly stepped back outside and answered Yori's question. "Starting an investigation to find out who attempted to take Jason's life." She said, looking at Yori with suspicious eyes, then turning her attention back to Alex.

Alex looked over to her, "Thank you," he said to her, "what else is going on here?"

Sykn shook her head, "Nothing really. I think I'm just a bit paranoid from little sleep, I almost thought someone had broke into my office. I guess I just forgot to lock it and thought I had." She said rolling her eyes.

Skyler looked over to her, "If you want I could check the security cameras for you," he said then turned to Yori, "you came at the right moment."

"Jason Nor?" Yori ignored sykns looks and skylers suggestion of the cameras. "the Vice-Chancellor? Why? And who?" Yori wasn't thinking like a detective, but more like a hit man.

(since leo is MIA I've decided to continue this so that the rp doesn't just die off)
Skyler turned to Yori, "That's what we're here to do," he said, "we've all been put on the case..." he was cut off by the phone ringing so he answered it.
"Yes... your sure... bring what you have in, it may help us," he said, then hung up the phone, "CSI found shell casings, with a distinct marking on them of which we have linked to 'The Crow'."

"The Crow, why would they think that?" Yori asked, his voice was not nervous, but just curious. "The Crow only shoots once."

"In one of the allies," Skyler answered, "we're still unsure, Jason hasn't woken up yet so we haven't been able to get a clear statement from him."

Yori was annoyed, not because he was being framed, but because who ever was framing him was an amateur hit-man. "sorry, I'm new, and I'm not very good at this, according to my test scores." He mumbled the last part.

"There's one thing that's bothering me though," Skyler said, rubbing his chin, "Crow usually leaves his victims dead, Jason was just shot it wasn't even close to being deadly."

Yori rolled his eyes. "If that's the only thing bothering you..." Yori sighed. " He was shot in the privacy of his own home right? What would be the point in that? The Crow always Kills, but he also always kill in a public area. He want witnesses to see the bullet go into the victim." Yori was getting a little too excited about the thoughts of assassinations.
