Haruko jumped a bit at her mate's nudging. She was distracted right now. Usually she would jump at the chance to play pretend, but right now she was still uneasy. "Oh right. Sorry, your highness. You know ever since that dreadful witch put that amnesia spell on me my memory has not been the same." She smile and licked his cheek. Her attention turned to the pup. "Are you hungry, little one? The king is a master fisher. I'm sure we could get you something to eat."

Nabooro giggled and took an easier approach to Noryu, "Yes, I can get us all some food. Plus I've heard fish is good for memory," He smiled at Haruko, thinking it was a funny concept.

Noryu looked up. She still believed they were royalty but she knew they were nice dragonflies, ones she could like to be around. "I would very much like fish! I love fish!" She smiled and looked into Haruko's eyes happily.

Haruko smiled. "Then you shall get fish, lost little princess of the forest," she said and giggled. She smiled back at Nabooro and headed off towards the water. Her blue eyes scanned the waters for fish once more.

Akuma smirked and snickered a bit. Things were perfect now. Again they were getting her fish. She could get an easy meal. The demon looking dragonfly yawned and stretched out. She was in no more of a mood to be playing scare tactics. Instead, she decided she would walk over and convince them that they would have to give her to fish. Honestly, this was getting ridiculous with her waiting around. Her scare tactics failed for once. It was very annoying...

Things were laid back again so Nabooro followed his mate. She was beautiful and her giggling made him smile. He didn't scan, he just jumped into the water and looked for the fish underwater. He chomped at a few guppies then gained surface. "Just jump in the water. Little princess, have you ever fished?"

Noryu saw the love between the two again. She jumped around excited. She hesitated to jump into the water. "I have not ever hunted for fish." She wanted to though. She slowly walked into the water and then smiled, "do you two love eachother?

Haruko hopped into the water soon after Nabooro. She grabbed a small fish and surfaced as well. Her tail wagged behind her as she tossed it up onto the land where it flopped around. She nodded to the "little princess'" question. "Yes, of course. The king and I are very much in love. We've been together since they day we met and... well, we just starting loving each other soon enough. Love it quite a mysterious thing." She got out of the water and looked to Nabooroo. "Do you remember the dreadful monster that tried to hurt me, my king? You so bravely slained the dreadful thing." Haruko was getting into the act now. That part of her that loved to make a good story was getting making get into this little act her mate had started. It wasn't all a story though... in a sense anyway. She could see Nabooro doing that for her.

Akuma curled up and snickered. These two slay a monster? Pffh. She started to head down a bit, making sure she kept quiet. She would sneak up on the girl and show them wrong. Akuma hated this sort of group. Too innocent and naive. They were all a bunch of children and she was getting a bit annoyed with her stomach growling. Right now, she had very little patients.

Noryu giggled and stared hoping for more. These two were brave ones she could see and they were guided by love and intuition. What would it be like to be guided by love she thought.

Nabooro winked at Haruko then swam under water only to quickly gain back the surface shouting. "Blarg! yes I do remember. I had slain the monster with my bare paws, without even a stone or branch. It had been terrorizing the pack for a time and a call from the distance called me over. One beautiful dragonfly stood afraid, warding off the monster, ready to sacrifice herself, but I could not let this happen to my future queen." He took a break then pondered and grabbed a chomp out of a fish, "of course then I didn't know she would be my queen."

Haruko smiled gently as she watched Nabooro. She was starting to get lost in his eyes. "Yes.. it was not known yet, but certainly our love must of been destined..." She rested her head on her paws while her eyes never left Nabooro's. "There was a big celebraton after the king's brave rescue. We were able to really get to know each other then. After such a brave rescue and getting to know how wonderful and noble he was, how could I not fall in love with you?" She sighed happily as their story, the real one and this one they were making up, floated around in her mind. They were both wonderful stories to her.

"Yes, but you all forget the part where the monster comes back to have herself a bit of fun..." Akuma said as she stood a couple of feet away from them. She snickered a bit and shook her heads. "What fools you two are. Telling such little lies. There are no kings and queens..."She said and looked down at Noryu. "You certainly aren't a princess either, pup. So naive.... it's why I don't care for pups."

Noryu's eyes grew big as well. She was falling in love with the ide of love. She could have sworn she saw magic going through Haruko and Nabooro's eyes when Nabooro set his passionate eyes on Haruko aswell. She was all happy. "Where are all these people now?" She asked just before Akuma made her appearence.

Nabooro meant to answer, something about a honeymoon, a quiet get together but the pissd off looking dragonfly interupted him. He wondered where she came from and as she spat discontent at them he got a bit scared. What did she want with them? they had not asked for trouble.

Noryu stared, terrified with the other dragonfly that insulted her.

"Really, you two are all happy. I can take a bit of lovey dovery stuff, but you two have taken it to an almost unreal level," Akuma mumbled. She was more annoyed by the fact were able to buy into their own lies so well. She usually didn't care about such things, but she had been waiting around, forced to hear it too long. Expecting these dragonflies to get her fish was a stupid idea. So much for fixing up her boredom that way. Her devil looking tail swished to the side. "Yes, yes where are these people? You have no real kingdom if you can't explain that. I'm curious to know..." A smirk formed on her face.

Haruko sighed sadly. She tried to ignore the other dragonfly's bad temper towards them. "They're.. no longer with us... isn't that right my king?" Haruko was still very much into the part.

Nabooro's breathing came slower as he realized Haruko was not leaving character. The only way to get rid of this enemy was to bring it into the game. "Indeed..." He answered with a sad face, "The poor folk soon started forgetting about us once we were married. No young male dragonflies seeked my love's love, and they settled with all the other fair females. They lost interest in royalty and only came to us when in need of advice. Alas our kinsfolk had been poisoned by a sly traitor..." Nabooro had gotten quite carried away, he stayed solemn and noble.

Noryu was amazed and forgot about all her fright, she didn'T even show any remark to the devil dragonfly anymore. How could these poor mates seem so happy in such sad times? "Did all your people die? What did the poison do? Could you not save them?"

Akuma blinked and tilted her head. 'These two are first class liars...' She thought to herself and swished her tail. It was somewhat amusing now... how these two could stand to lie to a child for so long. The child would eventually realize they lied as it grew up. Oh well, it was there loss. "So they lost interest in you just like that? NONE of them wanted to try to steal your... erm.. queen away? Sounds fishy to me. You couldn't of been THAT strong, big boy..." She eyed Nabooro a bit and shook her head again. The male wasn't exactly her type... not to say he was bad, just not something she was interested in.

Haruko nodded. "Oh, you're right. There were some rivals here and there, but Nabooro took care of them. We were married too. Really, that wasn't such a big deal." She looked down at Noryu and smiled. "It put them to sleep, a very deep sleep that's like death. The king and I are searching for a way to cure them all."

Nabooro did not leave his eyes from the ground at Haruko's feet. In character he felt he did not need to waste time justifying his strength to this rude dragonfly. He listened to Haruko attentively.

Noryu burst in, "A cure? is it medicinal? or is it magical?" Noryu completely forgot about Akuma now and anxiously almost ran into her in her nervous excitement.

Nabooro looked up, "Well, the Queen and I have been looking for a cure. We've tried certain weeds to counter out the curse of our traitor, and we've seeked magical aid from elders, nothing was in our horizons. We strongly believe the cure is in a plant though, but which one?" He was now looking into Haruko and Noryu's eyes, glancing back and forth.

(( Making Akuma stay around here is hard since she doesn't approach others like this much. ninja ; Sorry for the delay with her before. *kept meaning to say that* ))

Akuma was quickly losing interest. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "A curse? Only an elder could of done that. A strong one..." She mumbled. She sighed. "You all don't happen to have some extra fish, do you? I hate the water, but I do oh so love fish." Ah yes, her whole reason for being here anyway. Things weren't really going her way today, so she was in a bad mood. Her fish craving wasn't going away either.

Haruko frowned at Akuma. They were still busy with their story! Haruko did love making a story after all. So she continued with it for now. "I hear legends of a flower with the power to cure thousands from dew drops that hit its petals. It only grows on one day of year and then wilts away the next." A sigh escaped Haruko. "It almost seems impossible..."
PostPosted: Fri Jun 27, 2008 5:13 pm

((haha no problem.. yah I'm guessing she would normally have just walked off))

Nabooro payed a small remark on Akuma, "Fish? You want fish...? We hunt for fish because it's the only way to let go and feel happy again... I could-" He started to ponder then dropped off his idea and continued speaking with the others. "Yes the magical flower. And I've heard there was a patch, growing in a fairy ring, near the hills where they could be found. But we had wandered the area for quite a while...

Noryu jumped up. She didn't mean to lie, she didn't want to cause harm, but she wanted to help so much now. Magic must have filled the air and so she jumped up and shouted, "I have heard of them too. They should be around by this hour next week!" She wasn't realizing she had lied to the seemingly real royalty.

(( Yes. But I wanted her here so too bad for her!

Akuma: *huffs* e.e ))

Akuma grew interested in what the other was about to offer. She crept closer to him again. "Enough with the flower. Talk. You could what?" She asked. A sly grin crept onto her face. Was the male possibly offering to get some fish for her? Now that would cheer her up. "The flower can wait."

Haruko shook her head. "No. We might not have much time if we wait." She smiled as she heard what the "princess" said. "Whats this you say? You know about it too. Why, this must be destiny." She looked to Nabooro. "Naboroo, perhaps she is the lost princess the prophecy fortells about. She might be able to help us find the flower." Haruko's tail wagged happily. It was like she was a pup again playing make believe. This was so much fun!
