"you can put me down now." Lila squirms out of his arms and hops onto a chair. "Are you sure you want to do the stitches?"

"You brought a girl home!" His mother exclaimed, looking at her son carrying Lila in, though she was now in the chair. He simply rolled hi eyes at this. "Can you get me a bandage mom..?" He asked, she simply nodded in response and walked to the bathroom. Sighing, he turned back to Lila. "Sorry about that, but it didn't look like you needed stiches." He said, sitting next to her.

"Oh it's ok." Lila was still a bit taken aback at how strict Kent's mother was. "Umm, oh right the cut. So you don't think I'll be needing stitches? Good, a bandage is fine with me."

"Thanks." She said walking into her house. She knew her parents weren't there so she went and sat on the couch.

Kent nodded, waiting for his mom to get back, wishing the house wasn't so disorganized. Still not believing himself that Lila was right there in his house.

Uh oh this is heading to the awkward zone!!!! "So how long have you lived here?" Lila tries to force a smile but instead grimaces at her knee which is throbbing again.
