Shaon sat down. "i said no last time, but he wouldn;t let me leave. he kept talkign to me and trying and he then..." she bit it off and stared ahead.

Drus slamed the cup she was working with on the counter but nothing more. "He will pay." Was all she said and went on with what she was doing. She ended up making a sort of tea she had learned to make while at the dismal orphenage in Sky City. There was a cetuation that dificult to get out of alive. The tea was ment to calm the nerves and numb all emotion. She gave it to Shaon with a slight smile.

Zeph turned and was about to say something to Ivy when his pager went off. Grumbling, he looked at it, then he stood up suddenly. "Well, i gotta run. I have a big hit this time." He walked into his room and came back out 5 minutes later wearing a black suit of light armor, with a back pack on and carrying a long case. "You ladies need anything while I'm out?"

Shaon shook her head and took the tea. "thank you Drus." she said softly, sipping the hot drink carefully. it tasted sweet, and shaon felt warm all the sudden, and then calm. how strange. she didn;t feel quite as afraid or used anymore. Drus is a whiz at everything, she thougth idly.

Drus let s soft smile cross her lips. "It quite alright, it's just alittle something to help with the feelings." She said then turned to Zeph. "No, were fine for now. I have all I need." She said nodding then made her way to the couch. She had fixed up the camara and part of Ben's ship so she was done for the day.

Drus pressed her lipes together. "No." She said after a while. "One gets this whay when one lives in Sky City too long." She said looking up though her window.

Drus sighed and swonge her legs off the couch. "Yeah just a minute." She said ducking into her room. She told Ivy where she was going and to wait until she said so. Looked like the Queen had to keep better track of her subjets. She walked out onto the livingroom and nodded to Shoan.

Zeph slumped through the doorway. Finally he was home. he made it halfway to his room before collapsing, and darkness engulfed him.

Sykn came home that night with a yawn, Draco was immediately at her side like always and he meowed. She smiled as she picked up the fat calico cat and held him in her arms. "Boy...you've gain some weight. Or maybe it's just my bag...I brought all the stuff on 'The Crow' home. Let's hope we can catch him! I better file this on my computer first, no one can hack that. Durs is just that awesome!" Sykn said as she walked into the kitchen and pulled out two bowls. Draco adjust himself so he was amazingly hanging onto her shoulder, so Sykn could easily fill the two bowls. One with cat treats and the other with her own candy.
"Time to get to work then." Sykn said as she walked into her room and shut the door behind her. She was too busy to remember to lock it, but who would even try to get into her room anyway? She set her bag down beside her computer desk, which had a total to three monitors on it and one small screen for simple things like temperature and on the spot news. She set Draco food bowl on the floor and he jumped off her shoulder to eat. She set her own bowl on the computer desk and sat down, pulling out one of the files and turning on her computer in the process. She really had littl use for the other screens at the moment. They mostly just showed view of places inside the building or back at her office, but she saw no point in that. Yori was still there, or she thought anyway.
Once the computer finally whizzed to life she started to type away. It would only take a couple hours to copy the files for back up and create a disk or too. How fun. She stared at the computer screen, occasionally looking away to unwrap a new piece of candy. Draco amazingly had found himself a blank spot on her desk and was being rather lazy, just watching her type.

Zeph came back to reality and realized he was on the floor. How did i end up on the floor? he thought, struggling to sit up. When he reached a sitting position, he realized that a gash on his side had reopened during the fall and a small trickle of blood was coming out. "Ah curses." he mumbled more to the room than himself. "Drus is going to kill me for this...well im already halfway there..." he chuckled at his own joke then winced as pain lanced through his side. Still too weak to stand, he used all his strength to crawl to the door to his room and leaneded against the wall next to it since he couldn't get up to open it. Leaning his head back with a dull 'thud.' "I am not taking a job like that ever again." he mumbled as darkness consume him again.

Skyler rushed into the building and found out where Sykn's apartment was by the directory. He rushed up to the door and pounded on it, "Sykn!"
