Joey smiled, "Hey Tea! How have you been?" Joey and Tea were friends, he didn't mind her at all. Joey sat on the inside of the booth. Man was he hungry he started looking at the menu. "Everything looks good on here. What to choose," Joey said to himself.
Akiko sat on the inside of the booth while Yugi was on the outside. She looked around and at the window. "I've never been here before. Looks nice," she said taking in the surroundings. She was happy Yugi sat with her, she gave him a smile to show it. Sam seemed uncomfortable with Tea. She wondered why, she seemed nice enough. At least that's what she first thought.
Atem turned his gaze away stubbornly when she smiled at him. Forgiving people wasn't a strong skill of Atem's. Well, at least he was sitting next to Sam. It was worth it, even if he was in range of Tea. He tried to look away from her. Seemed Sam was slightly irritated. He wasn't sure why, but assumed it was because of Tea.

Sam looked at Atem and smiled a little "what are you getting?" She asked, trying to ignore tea. She was glad Atem didnt seem at all interested in Tea but she still didnt like Tea.
Tea smiled at Joey. He was always a great friend. Tea glared a little at Sam since Atem was ignoring her and talking to Sam. She decided to talk to Yugi then for now while everyone was deciding on what they wanted. "So, how are you Yugi? I havnt seen you in a long time." She said cutely, leaning down on the table a little, exposing a bit of her cleavage. She hadnt meant to do that. She was just leaning close to him. That used to make him blush and she liked having the power of making him do that.
Yugi nodded to Akiko. "Yeah it got re-done recently," He started but was cut off when Tea started talking to him. He did blush a little, out of habbit. "Y-yeah, I've been good." he said happily. He picked up the menu. "So what do you reccomend Tea?" he asked.
Tea wrapped her arm around Yugi playfully and looked over his shoulder at the menu. "Well this is our best I think, and it doesnt have a lot of calories, not that youre worried about that anyway." She glanced at Atem. She was just trying to make him jealous by giving Yugi attention.

Atem smiled back at her, "I think I'll just have a burger and fries. How about you?" He tried to keep his attension on Sam, until he noticed what Tea was doing. He glared at her, he knew exactly what she was doing and he didn't like it. He wasn't going to give her attension, but he wasn't going to let Yugi be used. "Joey, are you going to order?" he said to him. Joey could distract Tea and Atem and focus back on Sam.
Joey looked up, "Nyeh?" He said to Atem. "Oh yea. Hey Tea, can I have a Bacon Double Cheese Burger Delux? And a cola?" Tea seemed to be touchy again, that much he picked up.
When Tea leaned over, Akiko frowned. She lifted up the top part of of her shirt- partially because she didn't want to do what Tea was doing, and partially because she felt inferior. Akiko wasn't busty, especially not like this girl. She looked away when Tea wrapped her arm around him. Was she jealous? Why was she? Yugi had a right to have other girls like him. She sighed a bit, it just bothered her. However she laughed when Joey ordered, "That sounds like a lot. I dunno, guys can pack away food for some reason," Akiko joked then added, "damn you all for that!" She playfully shook her fist.
"Nah, that's not a lot. Maybe I'll get a desert afterwards," he said with a smile.

Yugi ordered a simple burger and fries. He smiled at Akiko. "Joey always eats a lot." He said with a small laugh. His blush soon faded.
Sam laughed at what Akiko said. "Yeah, well it doesnt stop me. I'll have a double cheeseburger and some fries." She ordered. "Unfortunately after this I have to go run a few miles while Joey sits on the couch and watches tv." She joked with her boyfriend, elbowing him playfully. They both loved to eat but like Akiko said Joey was a guy and could get away with that. Sam had to go work out or it all went right to her hips.
Tea stood up straight and wrote down the orders. She laughed a little. "Well I'm glad you feel comfortable with yourself to eat that much Sam." She said competitively.
Sam growled a little. She certainly wasnt as skinny as Tea since she ate so much but she wasnt too big. Plus she looked skinnier then she really was since her breasts were big. sam and Tea have always been competitive. Tea was a dancer and much thinner and feminine, wearing make up and wearing short skirts and whatnot. But Sam was a different athletes. She was the girl who prefered dodgeball to dancing. She never wore makeup and wore a lot of comfortable clothes.
Tea turned to look at Akiko. "So I guess you want something small then right?" She said with a bit of attitude.

Akiko laughed at Sam response. "Go for it! If your hungry your hungry!" she said not caring how much her friend ordered. "We have the walk back, that should balance it out," she said cheerfully. She looked at Tea, was it just her- or did this chick have an attitude? But just towards Sam and her. Especially Sam. "Um, I'll have chicken and fries. And an ice tea," she ordered as she raised an eye brow. She did eat kind of light, but not all the time. Akiko only played a few sports but not all. She hated to run though, she absolutely hated it.
Atem snared at Tea again. What was she getting at now? "We don't need comments," he said refering to Tea's rude comment to Sam. He was astonished Joey didn't say anything to defend Sam. They were going out, he was supposed to be by her side. "I'll just have a plain burger with fries," he ordered. Sam was beautiful the way she was, she had the perfect body- and a beautiful face to match. Not to mention a personality to match.
Joey didn't say anything to back Sam up. He failed to see an insult. "Yugi, what are you going to order?" he asked him. He looked at Akiko and raised an eyebrow, "What's so good about ice tea? It doesn't make sense- tea should be hot. That's such an American thing."
"Ice tea is good Joey. Just like mom used to make," she said.

((seriously? I'm drinking ice tea right now, its the only tea I like sweatdrop ))
Sam smiled a little when Atem defended her. She leaned over to his ear and whispered a thank you. It felt so weird when she was around Atem and Joey. She felt like Atem was her boyfriend and Joey was just a friend. She looked at Joey. "You dont drink much tea anyway Joey. So how would you know whats better?" She said. She was a little mad at Joey. He never acted like her boyfriend and she felt almost insulted because of that. He was never lovey or cuddly. The most they did was hold hands. Even when they did hug he always pulled away quickly. This relationship was definately going down hill. She was afraid it would ruin their friendship.
Tea wrote down all the orders. She just winked at Atem when he defended Sam. "I'm just joking around, you should just lighten up." She said flirtatiously, putting a hand on his shoulder. She looked at Yugi. "Right Yugi?" She asked cutely.
Sam was about to lose it when she started flirting with Atem again. Didnt she take the hint?! He didnt like her!
Yugi hadnt really been paying attention. he was lot looking at Akiko again. He really had to stop zoning out like that when he looked at her. He scratched the back of his neck. "Um yeah sure." He said confused.

Akiko narrowed her eyes a bit at Tea. She was just filling up with jealousy. For Akiko, that was bad. She never became jealous. She tried to get his attension back to her, "Yugi, you agree with me, right? Ice tea is tastey, right?" She smiled at him. She giggled and said to him, "You didn't order anything." Akiko took notice that Tea was also flirting with Atem. What was her deal? She liked both of them?! That's not right.
Atem ignored Tea and moved his shoulder so her hand would move. Why did she have to be like this? She had to have known he wasn't interested. "Which tea do you like Sam?" he asked her. He was interested in her likes and dislikes. "I like Grandpa's mint tea, right Yugi?" he said. He would wait for Tea to leave before he said something to Joey. He needs to start standing up for her.
"Tea is kind of nasty in general. Ice tea is just weird," he replied to Sam. He put the menu down. "Come on Atem, cheer up. You heard her, she's just kidding," he said. He was pretty sure she was- though her tone was a little funky. But if she said she was kidding- then she was. He was gullible toward his friend.
Atem raised an eyebrow at Joey. Everything obviously goes over his head.

"Huh? Oh, I like ice tea." Sam said, turning her attention from Tea to Atem. "But that mint tea sounds good..." She said. She rolled her eyes at Joey's words. Why was he so oblivious to everything? Even her feelings.
Yugi blushed. "Sorry... I guess I keep getting destracted..." Yugi said. He was either focousing on her or being interupted by Tea. "I'll have what you suggested Tea, thanks." He said to her with a smile. He looked back at Akiko after handing Tea the menu. "What about tea?" he asked. He had missed the entire conversation while he was staring at Akiko or Tea. Akiko was just to cute, his mind drifted when he looked at her to his own wants and fantasies.
Tea frowned when Atem ignored her. She wrote down Yugi's order. She thought he had just been stalling to keep her around. She smiled at Yugi. "See Yugi, what would you do without me?" She asked flirtatiously when he picked what she chose for him. Then she left to do her job.

"Well, you could come over one day. Grandpa wouldn't mind making some," he said trying to stay cool but it came out almost shyly. He didn't mind saying it- Joey would probably not even notice. When Tea was finally gone he looked at Joey and narrowed his eyes a bit, "Joey she wasn't just kidding around. Why didn't you stand up for Sam?" He sounded irritated with him. Even if they were just friends he should stick up for her.
"Huh? No she was just kidding Atem. You heard her. Besides why would she want to be nasty to Sam," Joey said. Why was Atem all upset anyway? "Are you upset because she was giving Yugi more attension?" he asked.
[[good god Joey's an idiot lol]]
"Yes she was Joey and no I'm not upset about that," he said irritatedly. He stopped before he said something that could have upsetted Yugi.
She gritted her teeth slightly when Tea said that. Finally she was gone. "Yea she was, Joey," Akiko jumped in. She recoiled, shocked she let that slip out. Oh well. She turned to Yugi and said something before he could comment on this Tea thing. "We were talking about ice tea, do you like it?" she said to him. Was he zoning out from Tea? That just bugged her, but she tried to let logic take over. When she heard Joey say Atem was upset about about Yugi getting attension, she gasped to herself. She kicked Joey under the table.
"OW! A-Akiko!?" he said confused. It didn't hurt, but it shocked him.

"Sure, I'd love to." Sam said, her face getting red. It sounded like a date but she knew it couldnt be. She was a bit surprised when Atem scolded Joey for not defending her. she smiled at him. She looked at Joey. "Joey, Tea and I have never gotten along well... you didnt realize that?" She said irritatedly, trying to make it sound a lot less then what it really was. She hated Tea. But she couldnt tell Joey that they were basically fighting over Atem. Did Atem know that? She hoped not, it was very embarressing. Her face turned red.
Yugi tried to stay out of the argument, tea was his friend after all. "I like Ice tea but I guess I prefer hot tea. I dont really have a favorite..." He said smiling. He raised an eyebrow at them when Joey had an outburst. He concluded that she kicked him. "Joey stop making Akiko mad." he said teasingly since Joey was the one who got kicked.

Joey looked confused at her. "No, I never knew that. Why, did something happen between the two of you?" Joey asked. Joey looked at Yugi, "Nyah? What did I do?"
AKiko just simply laughed when Yugi said that to Joey. But she wasn't getting into this fight- she already had one today. "That's cool. Are you a coffee or cappacino person?" she asked Yugi. She figured the two of them would both stay out of it. "I'm not too much of a coffee person, too bitter," she added.
Atem didn't know why they didn't like each other. All he knew was that Tea was being rude to Sam. Sam didn't even start anything either. He was glad she said yes to tea. Anytime spent with just her was worth it. He shook his head at Joey, "You didn't realize that? She's your girlfriend." He cringed slightly when he said girlfriend. Why did he have to ask her out? Sometimes he thought it was just to spite him- though he knew that wasn't the case.

Yugi just laughed a little too and then looked at Akiko. "Cappacino, I heard coffee stunts your growth so I dont want to risk not growing anymore." He joked. He didnt like being short but he didnt let it get to him.
Sam looked down at the table. Those words had a big affect on her. He was supposed to be her boyfriend. But he never bothered to get closer to her or learn anything more about her. Nothing changed between them when they started going out. The just got in more fights. "Just forget about it. It doesnt matter." She said with anger.

Akiko giggled a bit, "Aw, don't say that. Your not that short. Well, not short for me I guess." She smiled and just blushed a bit. That was a bit of a slip- she was thinking it and didn't mean to say it. "Hell, I use it to my advantage. I got in to a movie theater by buying a childrens ticket. I saved three bucks that day," Akiko said and laughed about it. Her old friends put her up to the challenge and she won.
Atem gave her a sorrowful look. Joey was making her upset and he felt he couldn't help her. He would take Sam's side, always- but Joey was his friend and he didn't want to seem he was against him. He looked away then said, "Hey Joey, Sam beat me in air hockey."
Joey rolled his eyes and looked away. He was starting to think he liked Sam more as a friend then a girlsfriend. He looked over at Atem and smiled, "Really?" He looked over at Sam, "Good job! He's really hard to beat." He couldn't stay irritated at her, actually- he was more irritated at himself.
"It also means she won our bet. I have to take her for ice cream," he said it as he looked away. "Just her," he added. He didn't tell him about the real part of the bet he had to do, serenading didn't sound innocent. He decided to tell him, it may have been hard for Sam.
Joey looked confused, "Ice cream?" That sounded slightly suspicous...
Akiko heard what Atem said about the bet. "That's all? Ice cream? Atem your luck. I've heard some bad consiquences for losing a bet. Some guy had to shave his eye brows cause he lost. Yea, there were some stupid people in my old school," she said. She mainly said it because Joey seemed suspicous of it. She was showing how innocent it was.

Yugi laughed a little. She was so clever and easy to talk to. He just loved being around her. She could always make him smile. And he wanted to be the one who could make her smile too. He looked at Atem when he told Joey about the bet. He rose an eyebrow. What was Atem doing?! Sam was dating Joey! Atem shouldnt be taking her out for ice cream! He thought but didnt voice his opinion. he would ask about it later. He looked back at Akiko. "Did you ever lose a really bad bet?" He asked.
Sam felt thankful for Akiko lightening the mood and getting rid of some tension. She smiled at Atem and then looked at Joey. "You dont mind right? I'll bring you some ice cream after if you want." She said, trying to sound calm like it was no big deal. She didnt feel as guilty anymore since Joey didnt seem to notice anything about her he probably wouldnt even care what she did with Atem.

She laughed and smiled, "I try not to make bets. I lost one, but it wasn't too bad what I had to do. My friend made me go in a shopping cart and they pushed me down a hill. That was fun though, so I didn't mind." She laughed at the thought of it. Yugi was really fun to be with, she simply felt comfortable and welcomed. When she looked into his eyes, they were open and gentle. She smiled at him for no reason he knew of.
Joey made a face and touched his eyebrows. "Who does that!? Geez!" he said. Looking back at Sam he smiled. They were just going to get ice cream- nothing wrong with that. "Ooo, ok then. I like swirl," he said happy to get ice cream out of it.
Atem looked at Akiko in disbelief and shook his head. "Why would somebody do that?" he said. He looked back at Sam and smiled. It was a relief Joey was ok with it. Atem may not be going out with Sam, but he can bask in those few momments getting ice cream- right? He did feel a little bad, he wouldn't want to have Sam cheat on Joey. But Sam probably would never thnk of going out with him- even if she was single. That made him a bit depressed, but tried to hide it away. He heard footsteps approach him and smelt food close by. Tea was probably coming back.... great.
