Androsia, weak and battered, flung a final Fireball at Raven, though it wasn't enough to take her down. Raven retaliated launching a massive energy burst at Androsia, knocker her out of the competition.

Luc powers up his magic and summons his Dragon to try and absorb a hit, but it is no avail, for Kail unleashes a Gigantic Fireball, blasting Luc into oblivion, and leaving the dragon mortally crippled.

Luc blacks out under the immence heat of Kail's fireball. Falling to the ground Luc lies there, with a look of peace on his face... at least as peaceful as a charred face can look. Lucifer flies immidiately to Luc's side and makes sure that his master is alive. Feeling a pulse in Luc's neck Lucifer turns his head toward Kail, glares, and lets out a low growl.

"Do not worry Lucifer. Your master is alright. I simply knocked him out. Alas I must knock you out too for this to be official. I hope in time you can forgive me." Kail'igen then zaps Lucifer with a bolt of energy from his finger to finish off the little drake. He then helps the barely conscious Luc to his feet and leads him off the stage. That was a good fight, but your strengths are not solely concentrated in you wizardly knowledge as they are with me. That is why a competition such as this does not suit you well."

After the exhausting trudge to the bleachers, accompanied by the kind Kail'igen. Luc uses what little strength he has left to smile, and speak two simple words "Thanks Kail." Luc then sits and waits to watch the next round. Hopefully he wins the opporitunity for another battle.

Gerbo explodes in a mass of energy fueled by the arcane flux of energy through the room, aligning itself with his Magical barrier. Feeling that this could be the chance he was looking for, Gerbo sprung into action and charged a ball of energy into his hands and shooting it at Perrian post haste.
"Good match m'lad! But I think it might be time to end this, tis been a pleasure to work with such a talented mage! I will look forward to next year!"

The battle ended, the spirits of Mother Nature leave her beligured body. Raven falls to her knees as her eyes return to their normal, crystal blue. She feels dizzy and only has a vague memory of the past battle. She places her hand to the ground and prays, "Thank you, spirits of nature, for your help in this." Raven stands on shakey legs and walks slowly to Androsia's side. She bends down and places her face in front of Androsia to see that she is alive, and feeling the breath of life on her cheek, Raven lets out a sigh of relief. Raven lifts her arm, levitating Androsia off the ground on a bed of wind, and takes her to the rest area. She sets her gently on the benches there. "Heal and regain your strength. We may yet fight another battle." Raven falls heavily on to the benches, "Though I sincerely hope not." She winces.

"I do agree, Gerbo. This has been a truely great match. I'm glad I got the chance to face one of the best mages here. Hopefully we face each other again next time." Perrian said and shot a fireball at Gerbo.,

(The one extra mp for offense synergy is not the best, considering that defense doubles the amount blocked. Just thought to throw in my opinion)

Bellamin watched as most of the matches ended. "I think they should have a free-for-all at one point..." Bellamin smiled, imagining the chaos that would be six mages all fighting eachother at the same time.

(But for some of us mages, an extra mp is a waste. I get an instant fireball every round. But true, I guess an extra mp could be helpful for many other mages.)

Moving to the stands Androsia waves down politely to the winners still trying to get the char out of her hair. "Well that was mildly entertaining. Hope I do better in the losers bracket then I did here." Eyeing the last competitors nearing conclusion gave her a smirk feeling not too bad about her defeat.
