"Yes you did." Kevin responded, smiling with amusement as he took his glasses off and started to clean them carefully with the edge of his shirt. Momentarily blind he glanced up to watch Randy and only saw a dim blur. He had always been dissapointed with the fact that no matter how many differant experiments he did his eyesight had never improved

Randy looked at Kevin. "Well now you know. Hmm, I've never seen you without your glasses." Randy said with a smile as he looked over Kevin, he didnt look bad without them but Radny liked him with the glasses better.

Kevin brought his glasses up to see if they were clean, then breathed on them to clean them easier. "I prefer to keep them on, sometimes I feel as blind as a bat, I cannot see much of anything." He said, leaning back against the wall.

"Mm, well I prefer them on you anyway. " Randy said and leaned on the opposite wall, tugging absently on the hem of his sleeve. " How long have they been like that?"

Kevin pretended to ignore Randy's complement as he responded "Since I was young, though it has progressed to become far worse since then, lasic didn't help." Kevin put the glasses on again. Lasic eye surgery had been stopped after the long term effects of had become apparent, modorate to severe blindness had been a sideeffect of the surgery, while Kevin had been able to reverse some of the long term damage he still hadn't fixed it all.

"Mmm." Randy said knowingly and than grinned. "What is lasic?" he asked, he had never been one to keep up with television, prefering the pleasure of books.

"Laser eye surgery." Kevin responded, laughing softly and pushing off the wall, he walked down the hallway slowly. "Several years ago it was discovered that it cause permanent blindness, that was before my parents decided that they needed the perfect doctor, and one with bad eyes was not perfect." Kevin's smile was pained, but he hid it easily. Lasik had advanced so quickly that the problems that had taken so long to effect the first patients effected the later generations in just a few years.

"Ah, I see, I must have skipped that little bit of information. You do not like your parents?" he asked curiously. "I assume it did not blind you?" he rattled the questions off one after another.

"No, I do not like them. And no it did not, I was able to stop the effects from increasing, but not the damage that had already occured." Kevin shrugged.

Randy moved forward and patted Kevins shoulder. "Good, for that I am grateful."

Kevin nodded. "As am I." He said, turning a corner and almost bumping into a student. Ducking around the girl he murmured a soft apology

Randy ducked his head to the girl, waiting until she passed by before straitening and continueing down the hall. "Are you wishing to sperate now or shall we find something more to amuse ourselves?"

"I am at a loss for things to do, so I believe we should part ways, I have left my paperwork alone for to long I believe." He said mournfully

Kevin headed towards his office, nodding towards Randy as he left him for the paperwork. "Oh." He said pausing and glancing back at Randy. "If you could get ahold of that contact you told me about?" He asked, smiling
