Something akin to a feeling of acceptance filled Iana as she took Yuuki's offered hand and returned the gesture. She nodded in agreement, and listened to the Lionheart Inc.'s second in command's praise. She was beginning to feel quite confident, but wasn't about to let down all of her defenses. Hearing Stephanie's name Iana's eyes bulged slightly; she had never realized that the doctor had use of magic as well. This baffled the redhead's mind to no end. How had she not noticed. Returning from her surprise Iana nodded to Yuuki, and replied, "It's been a little more than a year now, and New York is well.. interesting. I've noticed some unrest." Iana was curious, maybe Yuuki would reveal something, anything about the uprising that was slowly beginning. She just had to choose her words wisely.

Yuuki's eyes darkened for a moment as she listened to Iana's words.
"Well, to be honest unrest would be only the tip of the iceburg, and probably it's the understatment of the century. But wait, I don't want to speak about this right here." Grabbing Iana's hand for a moment, she snuck into the small waiting room beside her, which was currently empty. Locking the door behind her, Yuuki sighed and leaned against the wall, closing her eyes for a moment as she thought about what she was about to say. "Sorry about that though, I can't have just anybody hearing." She turned back to Iana.
"I can imagine you know of the vampires forces within the city correct? And I could tell you recognized my company's name when I told you, so you undoubtably know about the hunters. There sure is, well, unrest between the hunters and the vampires. Us witches and the changelings have been forced in the middle of it all, with some of us choosing sides between the vampires and the hunters. I myself grew up with Destiny, who is the leader of the hunters, so it was natural that I decided to help her. Some or course, chose the side of darkness, helping out Constance and Tramer of the vampires. There's always been a conflict between the vampires and the hunters of course, but recently it's been escalating, even we don't know for sure why. More and more mindless leeches are being created every day, more and more attacking the different races around the city. The vampires are plannign something, and while me and Destiny are working round the clock to try and find out why, we haven't come up with really anything yet, but we're preparing for quite a large battle, unfortunatly." Yuuki's eye's once more looked down to the floor, and she held her hands behind her back as she continued to lean on the wall.
"The battle that has been going on for thousands of years is finally coming closer and closer to a huge battle. One that will be full-out, the hunter's and their forces against the vampires. And unfortunatly, if you continue to stay in New York, you will be a part of it. I don't think, with you being another witch, that you will go through the coming conflict unnoticed. Do you want to join with us? It would be wonderful to have another witch on our side, I know we could for sure use your help as well. So what do you say?" Yuuki looked up at Iana, eyes waiting for a possible answer.
Yuuki knew that this move was quite risky, but she knew she had to take it if she could. She didn't want this young witch going towards the darkness, when she knew that she could protect her with the hunters in the light. She had to at least try. She could tell Iana would get along with Destiny, and could be quite advantageous toward their side, and most of all, wiht Yuuki too being a young witch, she thought the too of them could get along really well in the future.

Constance sat up and rubbed her forehead in thought. "The new ones must die. They are confused and do not know what to do. We have no choice in this matter." She sighed and stood up, opening a hidden drawer in the wall next to her bed. She pulled out a silver pistol. "I'll help you. Will we need others? How many do you supose are wondering the streets?"

Letting herself be led into the deserted waiting room, Iana took a seat and listened intently, while her brimming curiosity was being satisfied for now. She let everything sink in thoroughly. Pieces of the explanation were familiar territory, for her father had revealed some information to her. Though it seemed that he had left out a lot of details. Never had it occurred to Iana that she would be forced to make a decision. The thought of joining in the whole ordeal had danced about in her mind for quite some time, but she had no real intentions of actually acting upon it. She knew Yuuki spoke the truth and had no ill intent towards Iana at all. So why did she feel so apprehensive about everything.
Since a young age Iana’s father had taught her self preservation, never had he urged her to ever meddle in the affairs of others. No, he had always said it was best to keep to one’s self. ‘Over protective,’ Iana had labeled his demeanor and actions a long time ago. Then again she couldn’t blame him, not after what happen to her mother.
She shook her head lightly as if trying to rid herself of unsettling thoughts. Rising from the seat she had previously claimed she walked to a nearby window in silence and peered out. The specs below were busy people, humans mostly going about their daily routine as if nothing could possibly hinder their monotonous lives. Life was something Iana had worked hard to preserve. Humans were frail being, well most of them anyway, and needed protection, needed others to stand for them in the face of danger.
Magic was a blessing that Iana cherished and because of this gift responsibility accompanied her eternally. After a few minutes she turned back around towards Yuuki and smiled. “Well, I don’t plan on leaving the city any time soon, and the vampire’s plans aren’t exactly in my favor,” she admitted in a serious tone. “What can I do to help?”

Tramer approached Constance placing his hand on her pistol gently pushing it down, “un-fortnightly its not that simple, right now there numbers are in the thousands, in a weeks time im expecting it to reach at lest ten thousand… me and several of are special tactics teams have been trying to control there numbers but have barley managed to keep them contained in select parts of the city to minimize the outbreak…I have a plan to deal with this problem and that is to destroy the source of these blood raged vampires, if we take out the rouges then it might be possible to contain this out break before it causes any major damage, I’m going to be under the radar for awhile… someone needs to take command of are special tactics teams while I’m gone and manage this outbreak” Tramer said coldly quickly turning away from Constance as soon as he finished talking, Tramer walked back toward the door way stopping just before exiting the sleeping chamber. Tramer new little about Constance plans, knowing only what he needed to in order to get his job done, Tramer new if he was to pry he could probable get Constance to tell him more but in truth he was not interested, as long as he had someone telling him who to kill he cared little about there motives. “we might have to put your plans into effect sooner that anticipated…the hunter’s numbers are increasing at an alarming rate, thou as of now they pose little threat we should waste as little time as possible” Tramer looking back at Constance “the decision is yours my lady, I am going to go feed, I having a felling im going to have a very…very busily night tomorrow” Tramer said with a slight chuckle before making his way out of Constance’s chambers.

Constance sighed and put the pistol back in the drawer, slamming it shut. She felt like she could not finish the plans without the missing pages. His work combined with hers would make her undifeatable. Then, a thought occured to her. "Tramer..." She whispered under her breath. Of course. If he could help her find the 7 missing pages, her empire would thrive. She smiled to herself and walked out into the old hallway, staring with cold intensity.

After a hot shower and a good breakfast Destiny was finnally calm enough to sit at her computer and start work. She jumped slightly when her cell phone began to ring next to her. Picking it up she hit the green button and held it to her ear.
"Hello?" She said finally.
"Destiny? Hey it's me Richard. You should probably get down to the main office asap. We found something that you need to see."
"Richard, tell me what it is and I will decide wether it is important enough to see." She replied shortly.
"It is a piece of parchement that the lab has already dated back to the 16 hundreds. It is a diary page from the vampire that your ancestors fought all those years ago."
"Alright I will be down there as soon as I can. I need to see if I can get ahold of Yuuki first. Bye."
Hanging up she quickley started dialing Yuuki's cell. After about four rings she got the answering service.
"Hey Yuuki, meet me at main as soon as you get this. Someone has found something that might be just what we are looking for."
Haning up again she got dressed and headed out the door. There was still a good 7 hours of daylight left, so she didn't carry as many weapons.
Once she was down on the street she started towards the main headquarters for Lionheart Investigations Inc.

Upon hearing Iana's reply a genuine smile spread across Yuuki's face. She sat up and grabbed Iana's hand and shook it profusely, the smile still on her face.
That's wonderful!" Yuuki said after letting go of Iana's hand. "I promise you won't regret this decision. Welcome to the hunters side! Oh, I'm so excited to have another witch on board!!! Right, first thing first, here's my number, slash business card." She grabbed her purse and took out a small business card that proclaimed her status as vice-president of Lionheart Inc.
Yuuki already had big plans in mind for Iana. Not only was she quite ecstatic on having another witch to befriend, Iana radiated power; she was close in power to Yuuki herself and Yuuki was well known to be quite a powerful witch in the wizarding community. Thoughts rushed through her head; oh, Yuuki was quite happy, she was already planning on how to instate Iana into Lionheart, if possible. Another little smile escaped her lips.
"Keep that on you, so you're able to contact me whenever you like. Do you mind if I take your phone number later? Thanks a lot. Anyway," Yuuki continued, pacing back and forth in front of Iana in thought. "I should have you meet Destiny, she's the head hunter and leader of Lionheart, and my best friend. Do you want to meet me - Oh?" Yuuki had just pulled her cell phone out of her purse and have noticed the new message button flashing on her screen.
"Just a sec." she told Iana as she checked her message. Her eyes widened slightly as she listened to the message. She smiled again. Clicking her cell shut she turned towards Iana behind her.
"Well, how about we can actually get you started now. I just got a message from Destiny, asking her to meet her at the main headquarters. Do you want to come?

Constance walked forward a few steps and stopped. "I need to show you something." She turned and started walking towards her office. She opened the door and stepped inside, walking briskly behind her mahogany desk and sitting in the soft velvet chair. After rummaging through her pocket for a second, her hand emerged with the key to the drawer. Putting the key in the lock, she gestured for Tramer to come in, but she didn't unlock the drawer quite yet. This was something she had shown no one in all her years as leader. "Take a seat..." She said quietly as she gestured to a blue silk chair directly across from her desk. All the other times she had talked to Tramer in here, he had sat in that chair, so it was no surprise, but never before had she opened this drawer for anyone but herself.

Amazement shown on Iana’s face. The woman before her had completely changed. Yuuki appeared to be ecstatic about Iana’s choice, and this made the young witch feel better. Hopefully she hadn’t made a mistake. She took the card from Lionheart Inc.’s vice president, and returned the gesture by grabbing a notepad and pen from the front shirt pocket of her scrubs and quickly jotted down her phone number before handing it to Yuuki.
Ina waited patiently as the young woman listened to a voice message, and merely basked in this unfamiliar feeling of acceptance. She had friend in high school, but hadn’t kept in touch with any of them. All she had now was her father and the few acquaintances she had acquired within the past year.
Once Yuuki returned to the conversation at hand, Iana wasn’t sure how to answer her question. She really wanted to go with her, but at the same time, her shift wasn’t quite over. Then again if she told the head nurse that something had come up and that she would make up the time later, everything should be fine. Though she rarely lived so spontaneously Iana took the dive. “I just need to tell the head nurse,” she replied with a curt nod and headed for the door.

Yuuki smiled upon hearing Iana's reply.
"That'll be great. I'm sorry if I'll be taking up some of your work time." She watched silently as Iana headed for the door, leaving to tell the head nurse that she was leaving. Remembering quickly about Rex, she left the room as well and went over to Rex's room a couple doors over. He was still sitting on the bed, looking bored out of his mind.
"Hey, Rex," she began, getting his attention quickly. "The doctors don't know what to do with you anymore, so they're letting you leave. Here're your papers, just sign a couple and hand them into the desk. I have to go, need to head over to headquarters and Iana, I believe you know her, is coming with me." Yuuki smiled quickly at that fact, she was still giddy about it "You can go whenever you like. I'll see you soon, hopefully." Yuuki gave him a nod before beginning to step out of the room.
"Oh, and Rex," she said, turning once more to the changeling on the bed. "Please watch where your going next time, you caused quite a bit of trouble with your disregard for a car. Watch your step next time. Goodbye" One could tell Yuuki was enjoying teasing Rex for the time being. She walked out the door and back into the hallway, where she spotted Iana over to the side.
"You ready to go?" she asked.

((Is Rex still in the hospital??)) Destiny leaned on the wall of the elevator that seemed to move way to slow and felt the bit of relief everyone feels when the door opens at the correct floor.
Swiping her clearance card over the scanner an automatic door opened and she went in. When she walked past the windows of the lab she saw Richard talking with others around a table. Opening the door she smiled at everyone.
"Alright guys now that I am here has anyone seen or heard from Yuuki yet? I want her to be here as well."

((I thought so - since when 'I' went to go talk to Iana - I was first getting papers for him to leave - so after I talked with her I'm giving him the papers so he can leave himself. I just assumed that he'd been waiting that enitre time for me to give him the forms.))

Within a few seconds Iana found herself at the nurse’s desk asking for the head nurse. She was told that Laura, the one she was looking for, was in a meeting, but should have been out over five minutes prior. Iana thanked the receptionist and headed towards to nearest lecture room that she was hoping to find Laura near. Fortunately she arrived just as Laura was saying bye to a colleague. “Excuse me, Mrs., can I talk to you,” Iana began her attempts. Four minutes later smiles and thank yous were exchanged as Iana briskly went back to where she had left Yuuki.
Laura had been extremely understandable, and admitted that Iana looked like she needed a break. Iana never took days off except for what was required by the labor laws. Noticing this Laura was quick to send Iana on her way. Never did the young witch have to explain where she was headed. When Iana returned she waited in the hall until Yuuki emerged from what she remembered to be Rex’s room. She quirked a brow. “So they know each other,” she thought to herself. When she registered Yuuki’s inquiry she nodded and smiled, ready to follow.
