"...We?" Shiero repeated, her head tilting like a confused dog, whom misinterpreted the translation.
"What you're saying.. As that wou would be willing to come with me..?" She asked with a raised brow. What did he want? First he followed them here questioning them about the items and now he wanted to join her? Sure.. It would be nice to have an extra hand with the battles here and there, for she wasn't an extrodinary fighter to any extent.
Shifting in her chair at the offer, Shiero deeply considered it. But what of Raithill? She didn't want to drag her son around with her into dangerous places and into battles-- No, that was not right of her to do that.
"You're too.. Kind.." She mumbled in reply, as if still considering the offer.. There must be something he wanted.. Perhaps the divine power he believes will await him at the end?
"If you so desire to accompany me, then so be it." The mother replied with a smile, her arms still pulled around her stomach. Perhaps an extra hand would help her find Durithill that much quicker-- Yes... He would be back soon enough...
"--The power you would gain would be at a cost-- It would end up being a loss to you..."

We? Oh god.. He didn't mean it that way.. he didn't mean to be pushy. "Yes sorry, I would be willing to come with you. Geoff smiled and put his left hand on his Lance, it never did leave his sight. He took his hand off it and grabbed the glass of water, drinking the last of it.
She seemed to uneasy in the presence of the blonde. The pausing in between her words didn't help the matter much.
"You don't trust me do you?" Maybe it was because he came on a little to strong about the ten items..
The next line Geoff heard come out of Raine's mouth hit him the hardest.
"--The power you would gain would be at a cost-- It would end up being a loss to you..." That sentence right there would stay in the back of Geoff's mind for a very long time.

Raithill stood like a mute behind his mother's chair. When Geoff's hand brushed his weapon, metal sprouted from Raithill's hands like claws and he took a step forward. His eyes turned blood red, and a bit of his demon energy flared giving him a frightful aura. When Geoff instead went for his drink, though, he stepped back again, the weapons disappeared, and his eyes returned to their normal hue. Maybe it was because he was part demon that he didn't like this man? But then again, he'd been fine around the other angel, Rathios. And Rathios had had two weapons. But there was a sort of comforting aura around Rathios, and this new angel didn't have the same aura. He gripped the posts on the back of his mother's chair and watched the new man.
((Two things: Geoff, there's ten items. Also, Rathois told Raine it was a symbol that was found, not a sword.))

[Pffft. Whatevs. XD]
"Don't you think it would be hard to gain someone's trust after the first ten minutes of a conversation?" Raine replied to his abrupt question. However, her eyes shifted down to her son whom continued to conform.
"Come up here with mommy, sweetie." Shiero turned to her son, her arm falling to her side, waiting for the acceptance or denial to her comforting embrace. Sure, she did not know this man very well. All she really thought was that he wanted something from her, or needed her help to get something.. Like many men, he may have been greedy, but that was hard to say for certain. However, Raine believed after time she would be able to put her trust in this man...

(( I knew tweleve wasn't right.. Yea Sorry Bout that.. ))
Geoff's smile went to a frown as he seen the little boy step out in front of his mother, with pure hatred in his eyes. If the little boy attacked what could the blonde man do but defend himself. Seeing the little boy's eyes go back to normal cause the smile to reappear across the warriors face. "Trust is not something to be granted so fast. So I completely agree with why you don't trust me." Geoff's fingers traced back and forth across the table as he looked back to Raine and then to the child, that hid behind her.
"So have you made up your mind on when were going?" Geoff smiled. "The sooner the better, because I'm sure were not the only ones looking for the items."

The moment Raine offered, Raithill climbed up into her lap. He snuggled as close as he could to her, as if trying to get as much comfort from her as possible. The metal ribs receeded from Raithill a little bit as his mother's comforting presence washed over him. He stayed mute.

The moment Raithill crawled up onto his mother's lap, Raine wrapped her arms around him in a warm, comforting embrace, her one hand set on his shoulder.
"..Leaving? Sir, we're not leaving at this very moment, I have matters to attend to." She replied, shaking her head a bit. She still had a few things to do with her son, such as read that book and answer his question from earlier...
"I'm sure we could investigate a little bit tonight.. Feel free to stay the night if you wish. It's not often we get visitors, you know." Raine told him with a small smile, moving her hand onto her son's head, fixing his hair once again.

A sweet smile appeared on Geoff's face as he seen the child go onto his mothers lap.
"So you still have to read him a book?" Oh geeze, how big was this book. Geoff laughed to himself as he spoke again. "No problem!" The warrior looked around the house as he brought his eyes back to Raine. "Tonight? That would be great. Because as I said before, I am almost certain that were not the only ones looking for these items."

"Not all of the book." Shiero replied with a bit of a laugh.
"We'll speak more about this later... Would you like to read more of the book, sweetie?" Raine asked her son, looking down at his curled position in her lap, clinging to her her like any small child would for their mother.
"Hah, you can be certain. We are definately not the only people looking for these items.." She replied before picking her son up. Cradling him against her chest with one arm, Raine pushed the chair under the table neatly before walking towards the small living area. It was there where she placed the wilted, petal-less rose that a large text sat, the rustic pages had obviously been exposed to dampness, dust and various weather conditions previously.
Leafing through the pages to a particular spot Raine picked up th ebook carefully and say down onto a cushioned seat.
"Like I said, make yourself at home, Geoff."

Rathill continued to watch Geoff as his mother carried him off. When they entered the living room he looked over at the flower and book. He noticed again the small bud hidden among the wilted flower petals, but didn't point it out again since his mother had ignored him the first time. His attention then turned to the book as his mother opened it and began searching for a page. He continued to watch Geoff out of the corner of his eye, however.

Placing her hand ontop of the book, her finger tracing the slightly raised text before flipping the page again.
"Ah, here.." Shiero announced, leaning over her son to read the book properly, taking in a breath, Raine began slowly, staring with the date of the journal entry.
" October 31st, 2020
Other Tomsaruka's have started showing up. How appropriate, that demons would begin showing up on Earth on Halloween. I know Milloon said they were incredibly powerful, but I guess I didn't quite think they could be as powerful as they were. A single Tomsaruka can level entire cities with a single spell. And still have energy left over to fight. It's insane. I can hear people screaming outside. Even bomb shelters built to survive nuclear war don't seem to be able to stand up to these demons. The president is getting anxious. He's ordered all branches of the millitary to try to take out the warring Tomsarukas, but they're having no effect. The Tomsarukas don't seem to even notice they're there. More often then not, the army will get caught in the crossfire and completly obliterated before they can get off a single shot." The mother paused, as if deciding whether or not to continue or not. Raithill was still so young, still innocent, she didn't want to cloud his mind with thoughts of people against one another; hate. However, she knew that he would pester her to read it to him, if not try to read it on his own..
"It's not safe here anymore. Milloon is dead; the Tomsarukas found him a while ago..." No, there were parts she couldn't read. Not yet, definatly not yet... Shifting her son in her lap and clearing her throat a bit, Raine skipped down a couple lines and continued again.
"Many humans are wondering where the angels are now. They're not being tied up by a war anymore, shouldn't they be protecting us? Shoudn't they be trying to defeat ...them? Some of us say the angels are afraid. They say that they are too powerful for the angels. Others say the angels are just bidding their time, letting the Tomsarukas weaken themselves then strike when they're weak. Others think the angels just don't care about us anymore. Either way, I'm not staying here any longer. " Substituting a few words to lighten the blow of the information, Shiero finished with a gentle sigh, placing her hand over the text befoe leaning foreward a bit, placing her chin ontop of her son's head.

((You skipped an entry entirely, lol.))
Raithill's eyes widened as the story progressed. "That's my name!" he said, pointing at the word 'Tomsaruka'. "Were they our family, mommy? Why were they fighting?" There were so many questions his head buzzed like a beehive. This book was obviously very, very old, yet it had his name in it. "What's Earth? What's 'Halloween'? Why didn't the angels come to help?" he asked, looking up at his mother. Demons, angels, war, military, Earth, Halloween, the president; There was so much information in such a small passage. Was this book perhaps the story of his family? Shouldn't it be happier then? And why did his mother skip some lines, for he'd noticed it almost right away. He pointed to a name on one of the lines she'd skipped and asked one more question. "Who's Durimiros?"

[...Oops. XD Want me to add it in somewhere?]
"Yes, sweetie, they wer--are our family." She said with a bit of a smile, as if trying to lighten the distilled mood. She seemed to have been a question magnet today, for the questioning never seemed to end. And so she began, answering them the best she could.
"They were angry with people... Earth-- Is a place, something like the plains, but it is much bigger.. Like all of the Realms mixed together, everything living in harmony-- Only humans live there though" Raine paused for a moment, as if thinking thinds over a little bit before continuing. Her response to his second question wasn't so accurate, though... Could she really answer that question?
"Halloween, which is on this day--" the mother pointed to the paper,
"--A day when many people dress up in scary costumes for fun" Taking in a breath before exhaling quickly, Shiero smiled and continued.
"We don't know why the angels didn't help them-- Are you done with your questions?" She asked near the end of his examination, however, the final question almost caused her face to go pale, and once again, she suddenly felt sick to her stomach. Raine merely sat there, the sick churning causing her not to reply to her son for one reason or another..

((If you want to.))
He looked up at his mother and noticed her odd reaction. She looked almost like she was trying to keep something horrible down, and pretend it was nothing at the same time. Like when he took cough medicine. He looked back at the name again. Durimiros... It sounded familiar... Then he remembered another of his unanswered questions. Who was Durithill? Durithill and Durimiros; was there a connection there? Both their names started the same. "Who were Durimiros and Durithill?" he asked, looking back up at his mother.

Why did he have to question her about everything? Sure, it was an important detail she kept from, her son, but it was a touchy subject to begin with.. The thin line of neutrality stayed on her lips, she nearly felt lke wrapping her arms around her stomach like she did peviously, as if to help the convusions of pain within her.
"It's... Not important..." She replied quickly, finding her lungs nearly collapsing from the false information she fed her son. This caused Shiero to take in a deep breath before exhaling slowly. The truth came out eventually, but it wasn't for some time. That alotted amount of time seeming like nearly seconds forher to cool down.
"Durithill..." She began slowly, her voice just above a whisper,
"He's-- ...He is your father, Raithill." She said carefully, a small smile forced upon her lips. Her shaking hands closed the thick text upon her lap before curling them around her son.
