As he curled his arms around her in a tight embrace, She paused for a moment, nearly believing him, though she struggled against him, knowing very well it wasn't him. Shifting her hands against him, she created a gap between herself and Edmund before attempting to step aside to dodge the attack of the golems.

"He's long since been dead. Do not even attempt to imitate him you worthless excuse! He would have never started any of this!" She hissed while moving her weapon to his throat.

Magomi's attack landed solidly, splitting Ame's side open in a gush of blood as he collapsed on the ground, dead. Ophelia just barely managed to avoid the thrusts of the golems' hands pierced straight through Edmund's chest, splattering her with blood. The golems paused, then reverted back to their original forms as Edmund's life force began to fade. "Farewell, Ophelia." he gasped, blood appeared on his lips. "It appears you've killed me again." Edmund fell to his knees, then fell over, his lifeless eyes staring up at Ophelia from the ground.
"Brilliant!" said a voice suddenly with a laugh as the sound of clapping echoed around the clearing. "Never have I seen two people cold-heartedly murder their loved ones! It was a pleasure to watch." A figured dressed in black appeared from around the backside of the sword, his blood red eyes grinning coldly at them. "There's only one problem. See, I can only give my sword to one person, and there's two of you." the visage of Durithill said with a frown. "How to fix this... Oh, I know!" he said, clapping his hands together as an evil grin appeared on his face. "You two will fight each other to the death!"

Magomi hadn’t been expecting the blood. Though she was sure that it hadn’t been Ame now. “Well it’s easy since it wasn’t Ame.” Magomi though was slightly confused. “why would I want your sword?” she said putting her hands on her hips. “I have my own and it suites me just fine.” Magomi gave a smart a** smirk. “Besides that sword smells, the least you could do is clean it old man” she said teasing the stranger who had appeared and had apparently been the cause of all the fighting. She was only on this trip with Ophelia because it sounded fun. So far it wasn’t very fun but was interesting.

"Oh, what was Ame." Durithill said with a small laugh and a smirk. "He was easier then Edmund. All I had to do was resurrect Edmund. But Ame, Ame was difficult. I had to go into your mind and collect enough information to create him again. Difficult, but not impossible, and you saw the results. That wasn't a copy of Ame, that was Ame, exactly as you remembered him." Durithill explained, pointing at the body as if to prove his point. Strangly, the corpses of Ame and Edmund remained as they were. Their features didn't shift back to the corpses from which they'd come, their skin was not rotting. In fact, blood was still leaking slowly from both. "But if you weren't looking for this artifact, why do you stink of the artifact from the Realm of Water?" he said, staring at Magomi for a moment before shifting his gaze to Ophelia. "And you stink of the artifact from the Realm of Earth."

Magomi scowled. “Ame wouldn’t die that easily. He was a pure blooded demon from the Sikaron family…” though her words were strong she shivered like a fawn left alone for the first time. After all that couldn’t seriously be Ame… he wasn’t even allowed out of the city let alone out here… and Ame wouldn’t fight her… not for real. Sure play fighting but they had never seriously wounded one another. She let out a howl that didn’t sound as if she had even come from her small childish frame. She could smell the blood now… Ame’s blood she was sure of it. Anger forcing her into childish rash action she threw everything she had fireballs, iceballs, large rocks and small tornadoes carrying shrapnel of bone. She didn’t have complete control over what she was doing. in fact she had barely any control at the moment at all. It was like putting a sword in the hands of a child. Just as likely to hurt themselves as there opponent. Launching herself after the attacks she ignored the strange sword completely. She wanted to attack this stranger who might have hurt her best friend.

Durithill didn't even move from his seat on top of the mound of corpses as Magomi attacked. Instead, the corpses at his feet suddenly lept up to take the attacks. "Why are you attacking me, Magomi? I'm not your enemy, remember?" he said before Magomi could reach him, that almost obnoxious grin still plastered on his face. "I didn't make you come here. I didn't make you fight. It was Ophelia's fault, remember?" His cold demonic eyes shifted away from Magomi to lock onto Ophelia. "She was the one that wanted the sword. She made you come look for it. If it wasn't for her, Ame would still be alive."

Magomi stopped her attack suddenly letting everything around her go still. “No, I came on my own because I was bored. Magomi knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to get her to attack Ophelia. Well she wasn’t going to fall for it. Growling she launched herself at the stranger. Not meaning to do any harm yet. Simply to knock him down. It was a very open attack. She was open to incoming attacks but it made it so she could dodge away quickly if needed. “Liar liar pants on fire!” she repeated the childish chant.

"You came searching for an ancient artifact of incredible power because you were bored?" Durithill said with a laugh. "Well, it doesn't matter. After all, Ophelia wants this sword to bring back her dear Edmund, and unfortunatly for you she can't get it until you're dead." Durithill's form sank into the darkness and the full force of Magomi's attack slammed into the metal of the sword, failing to even cause the sword to vibrate. "At first the only challenge was to kill your most loved one, but both of you killed your loved ones at the same time, so the sword won't budge until one of you is dead." Durithill's voice said from the darkness as he appeared standing behind the sword. "So, who's going to die?" he said with a cold laugh and a grin.

No... She didn't kill Edmund, she killed a lifeless being who looked like Edmund. As Magomi understood, so did Ophelia, and she wasn't going to fall for what this man was saying. Edmund died years ago. That wasn't him, and it would never be him. The only way Edmund could be revived was by collecting the artifacts as Durithill mentioned, which was what she was planning to do. She loved Edmund and vise-versa, neither one of them would do a thing to physically injure each other. That alone made her decision final.
That was not her Edmund.

Ophelia tensed up the moment he mentioned they had to fight one another. What? No! There was no way she was going to kill a child. She wouldn't do it, and Edmund wouldn't want that sort of sacrifice on his behalf. She did not force the Magomi to come with her, so that comment was out of the question, but Ophelia was relieved to see that even a child didn't fall for Durithill's comments. He had no power over them. None what-so-ever.

"Kill out loved ones?" She repeated, her eyes full of tears. No! For the last time, she did not kill Edmund! "No, we didn't, but the next person who's going to die is going to be you!"

"I'm going to die?" Durithill said with a laugh and a shake of his head. "You don't seem to understand this whole thing. I died 120,000 thousand years ago. What do you think you can do to me?" he said with a laugh that echoed around the clearing. "But as I said, it doesn't really matter. Since you two were the only ones cold-hearted enough to kill your most loved ones, then the sword is now one of yours. Period. If you leave, you don't forfit possession of this sword." The sound of bones creaking was eerie as Durithill paced on the pile of corpses, grinning at them with his blood red eyes. "Neither you, nor anyone else can get this sword until one of you dies. Know what that means?" His blood red eyes seemed to glow slightly as he stopped pacing. "It doesn't matter if you kill each other or not. That's the brilliant part! Every single person that wants this sword is going to hunt you two down and attempt to kill you!" he said with another echoing laugh.

Magomi had run into the sword. She rubbed her head. That had hurt! And the stupid sword hadn’t even budged. Not that she had been aiming for the sword. “That wasn’t ame and you know it” she growled she then stuck out her tongue. “You’re a butt head you know that? I don’t even want the stupid sword. I’m just following Ophelia around and then you came out of nowhere and started making copies of our friends and making them fights us.” You’re a but head and a jerk.” She announced before turning to Ophelia. “Lets leave this jerk face alone”

Ophelia winced and averted her eyes to the ground. Everyone would hunt her, no, them. They would hunt them to get the sword, how could she be so selfish to involve a little girl with her own, personal desires? How could she corrupt such an innocent child? Ophelia closed her eyes, her weapon ready, and while lacking the sense of sight, her ears only became more keen to her surroundings. Any sort of noise would catch her attention, so she did not leave herself unguarded.

"Magomi, go." She said, suddenly opening her eyes and turning to the child. Her eyes seemed to be full of anger, but not at the child, but at this man, this killer. The terror. "Run from here, it is unsafe for you. Fly swiftly." She said, hoping the girl could translate the anger in her eyes as she averted her attention back to Durithill. She gripped her weapon firmly and sneered at the male. "I promise I'll come find you once I've dealt with him, and you can have all the candy you ever wanted, alright?" Aside for the short amount of time Ophelia actually knew this girl, she grew quite attached to her, for she reminded her of herself when she was a child.

"Go now, and be safe."

"Aww, you're no fun." Durithill said, pouting and crossing his arms. Of course he had been lying, but he had hoped that they would have tryed to kill each other. "Let me ask you something, though. All the time that we've been talking, have you seen me make a single offensive gesture? I'm not even armed!" he said with a laugh, revealing his empty hands to prove that he didn't have anything to attack them with. "I'm no threat to you. I'm not even here. I am simply an illusion created by the sword." That was the honest truth. Well he was a little more than an illusion, since he could interact with his environment, but he couldn't touch or be touched by living beings. Of course, that didn't mean they could just walk through him and take the sword. No matter how hard they tried, the sword wouldn't budge. It would only move for a single person, and two had passed the trial simultaneously. That meant that the first person to attack the other would be the one who could take the sword from its resting place. Though the 'illusion' or Durithill wouldn't mid seeing them kill each other.

Magomi wasn’t one of those innocent deer eyed children. She was kind of getting into this. It was fun, in a weird kind of way. “I don’t want any candy… I want to stay with you” she replied. Magomi guessed that Ophelia thought she would just be a hindrance rather than help. This angered her slightly. She let a spear of ice form slightly to her left. She then threw it to Ophelia’s feet. “See I can take care of my self…. I want to hang around with you.” She said not going to move. She saw no point of her continuing to wander around by herself. Wandering around with Ophelia was much better.

Magomi cast her eyes to Durithill with a slight smile. He had a point. Perhaps he was simply a person who was bored and enjoyed the sport of fighting. To tell the truth here in the woods, especially here there probably wouldn’t be many things to play with. Especially if you were tied to the sword.

Oh no. It wasn't that Ophelia didn't believe Magomi could defend herself. In fact, she was sure of that, but she didn't want her to get injured. She didn't want to be at fault for any sort of fatality inflicted upon her, however her attention shifted back to the male before the sword. Durithill, was it? Ophelia seemed to blink, then she sighed. The female stepped around the spear of ice protruding from the ground and passed the illusion. Grasping the handle of the weapon, Ophelia moved to yank the sword from it's fixed location, but found herself unable to. It like it was lodged in cement. She leaned on the weapon and closed her eyes in thought. He did mention that they had to kill one another, however they surpassed that. There had to be another way around it, right? Of course there was...

"Magomi," she began, stepping away from the sword and looking to the child. "Come here. See if you can grab the sword." She said. The girl wasn't going to leave, right? There was nothing she could do to make her do so. She seemed to be pretty attached to Ophelia through one way or another, but regardless, she did attack Ophelia. A lance of ice was hurled at her. Of course, it didn't come in contact with her body, nor did Magomi mean it aggressively--or at least she thought--but she was still attacked, thus, Magomi should be able to remove the sword... Hopefully.
