Luc notices the addition to their caravan, but fails to realise the extent of the emotion in the back. Maybe I should go meet her. Luc thinks to himself. He looks back and can't see her anywhere in sight. "hmmm" Oh well if she wishes to be met, she'll come out. Luc begins humming a happy song from pure joy. He has so many new friends!

As the Wagon Train again continues on it's journey, an unnatural calm descends upon the pass. The usual sounds of nature, seems to fall silent, as if nature itself feels the need to withdraw. Shortly after the sensation begins, it passes. All that was normal before, seems normal again. It is almost as if the eye of some malevolent creature caught you in it's gaze, then moved on. Almost as if it was rehearsed, a small band rounds the bend, heading toward you. You recognize the nature of these thugs well before they reach you. Once again the bandits have arrived.
A dirty, grizzled looking warrior steps forward, longsword in hand. "Which one of you pukelings wants to die first?" Throw down your weapons and your gold, hand over them wagons and your woman, and I may let you scurry away with your pathetic lives." The 3 Bandit Scum that accompany him begin to laugh, oddly confident in the face of superior numbers...
(3) Bandit Scum A: 2, D: 2, C: 2 (1d6), M: 0, L: 3 (15), E: 0, Action: Taunt
(1) Bandit Warrior A: 2(5), D: 2, C: 4 (1d12), M: 0, L: 4 (20), E: 3( Long sword), Action: Taunt, Smash
The Bandit Warrior waits for your reply.

Kail sighs and shakes his head at the bandit’s request. “First, she is a lady and not just some property to be passed around. Second, you know as well as I do we cannot meet those demands any more than we could when the last three bandits asked us. You are probably aware what happened to them. You must also note your number is only one greater than before, hardly threatening. Yet your cocky tone leads me to believe you have some card up your sleeve. Perhaps if you explain why I should be scared, I will be more willing to meet your demands.”
While Kail is saying this, his one good eye, hidden by his glass monocle, darts around, scanning for what might be making the bandits so bold. He hoped his teammates were doing a more thorough look. Kail’igen knew combat was inevitable but he didn’t like not knowing what the bandits had planed, though he knew they'd have to face it anyways. However, he hoped to gain a more complete understanding of the situation before engaging in a fight.

Petra, having pulled herself together, had been dozing off as best she could in the back of the bumpy wagon. When the wagon stopped suddenly, she popped up, and paled when she saw the reason for the delay. Bandits! Oh, he warned me about them!
They'd obviously spotted her, and Petra started to shake when she heard the bandits order the party to hand over their gold, wagons and... her?! She was ducking down to keep out of sight, tears of fear starting, when she heard Kail'igen's retort. He's protecting me!, she thought, amazed, as a blush colored her cheeks. She peeked out cautiously of the wagon and watched Kail and two others--they were traveling with them, but she hadn't caught their names--stand to face them.

(so wait is it only us three?)
Whispering to Kail'igen Luc says "Are you ready? Looks like they're only confident, because they have an extra fighter, and a leader. In my experience bandits have often been over confident also. I'm sure we can take them." Luc hears some rustling behind him and looks back to see a small female head poking out of one of the wagons. Hehe there she is. "Come on out. We wont give you up, but we might need your help."

((There are 5 of us. Radryn is probably standing right beside me as I described him as walking in front of me the post before the encounter, I'll try to be more specific about his placement from now on. Zypher is on the wagon, he just hasn't posted in a while. And in the future you probably shouldn't post your combat round till the fight has actually broken out. The reason why I suggest this is that the situation might change by the time I finish my conversation with the bandit. You have now commited yourself to an action this round based on the knowledge that might change soon.))

The Bandit Warrior stares at Kail, an intent expression on his face. "Every fight I've ever been in, there's always been a would be hero. Take him out, the rest curl up like babies." He then points directly at Kail. "That's the one boys. Take him out." Swinging his sword over his head, he charges Kail, the three Bandit scum following eagerly behind...
The Bandit Warrior will attack and Smash Kail. The three Bandit Scum will attack Kail, and use Taunt on Kail, Luc, and Petra.
You may continue when ready.

((I have a question, does taunt just direct the physical attack or does it force the action or spell to be used on them as well if it is of an offensive nature? Also is Luc allowed to go back and edit his combat round post or is it set in stone. ><))

Taunt only works on normal attacks, I'm just using it as a bandit thing to do. Ultimately, it will have no effect on any of you. And before you ask, their attacks don't count as a team up, since all the members of your team haven't been held up. And yes, Luc can repost his actions. I'm not really THAT mean. rolleyes

(Well thanks! I think I'll just change my dice to attack in that case, sence no one is attacking me.)
Luc, ready for battle sees the bandits all charge at Kail. Hopefully I can slow one of them down Luc charges one of the smaller bandits, and thrusts his dagger at it's neck. "Take this you bandit scum!!"

Kail’igen’s one remaining eye widens in surprise as he hears the bandits answer. This was not what he was expecting. His mind quickly raced, considering his options. He thought about trying to put up a defensive hold but he knew his teammates didn’t have the power to take out enough of the bandits to stop them from killing him on their second attack. That too was considering if he even survived the first. Kail quickly came to the conclusion that the best he could do was an all out attack to try and take as many with him as he could…so he did. Charging up his mighty fireball he launches it at the bandit warrior and it splits into two to hit the bandit scum nearest to him. A small sliver of flame also comes off two hit a second bandit scum.

At Luc's behest, Petra slowly stepped off the wagon to stand, small and nervous-looking, behind the guys. She watched, horrified, as the Bandit Warrior brandished his sword and charged at Kail. Shocked at the frightening turn of events, Petra darted forward, and, quaking with fear, performed one of the few offensive spells she'd been taught: something that looked like a cube of light fell from heaven and struck the Warrior on his head, stunning him.
Petra knew she had no time to lose, and prepared herself to heal Kail'igen of the wounds she knew would come. "Kail!" she called, her voice clear despite her trembling, "Please, be strong!"
