"okay, sleep well Calistina <3" Jade answered, smiling at the kiss he recieved on his forehead. He watched her go before moving through the house, deciding the garden would be best viewed when it was lighter. He walked down the staircase and into the room the piano was in, sitting on the stool to gently run his hand along the keys, not pressing them down though.
"wish I could play you.." he murmured to it, sitting back a little to simply stair at it. He gently pressed down on the high note, grinning at the soft note that filtered through the room. He looked out the window, waiting for the sun to rise so he could go out and explore.

Calistina slept until about 10 o'clock, having rested a bit in the carriage on the way. She took a quick shower and changed into a day dress, something light and pretty of a blue color. She walked down stairs to make some lunch and wonder where her new little charge was. "Amber dear?"

Jade had retreated to the kitchen, absently eating grapes as he stared out the window, watching the outside world go about it's daily routine. He hadn't yet gone out into the gardens, he had fallen asleep and only woken not too long ago thanks to his rumbling stomach. He liked grapes, they were nice.
"hmm~I'm in here!!" Jade called upon hearing Calistina's voice, popping another grape into his mouth.

She heard her little one's voice and moved into the kitchen with a smile. "Hungry my dear? How would you like to help me make a little lunch and we'll eat it out in the garden?" She hoped he'd be up to learning a few cooking tricks. At least then he could make himself food while she was out.

"yeah, I'll help" Jade answered, smiling at Calistina. He was glad she was up now, he was getting a little bored. He left the grapes alone and stood up, smiling at her.
"did you have a nice sleep??" he asked politely, looking out to the gardens again. He still had to take a look around those, they looked so pretty and different., He'd have to memorise and find new favourite places to sit and think.

"Ok then, lets get started!" She smiled and started to teach the lost prince how to cook. First she taught him how to make tea by putting the water in a pot and on the stove. Next she taught him how to make salad. While he ripped the lettuce apart she chopped some tomatoes. Next he made carrot peels with a few carrots and a peeler. Finally, she taught the boy how to make some delicious sandwiches with sliced meat, some of the tomatoes from the salad, cheese, and fresh bread. "Well I'd say we've got a good meal here. You carry the salad and I'll bring the sandwiches out. There's a small table in the middle of the rose bushes."

Jade happily took everything in, finding preparing food to be 10x easier then he thought it would be. He was even more hungry by the time they had done and took up the tray without complaint, wanting to eat a proper meal. He looked down at the salad and grinned, glad he had helped prepare all this.
"this was easier than I thought it would be" he admitted quietly, waiting for Calistina to lead the way as he still hadn't gone out to search the garden. He was enjoying being here thust far, though he did miss Galbriel alot.

"Which is why I see no reason to have servants. The only time I do is when I throw a party and need to feed many people. But if its just me and a friend or me and my son, I make it myself. That way, when I taste the delicious food, I know I'm the one who made it that good." She put the sandwiches on a tray as well as the tea with cups. She lead the boy through her garden which was in full bloom. It was a rainbow of color as the sun shown through the large trees in her yard. The small gazebo in the middle of the small rose garden was very pretty and had ivy strewn all over it. "Alright, lets have lunch." She set the tray down and placed his plate by a chair and poured some tea.

"oh....." Jade answered quietly, his attention now thoroughly taken over by all the pretty flowers and sweet scents. He looked around the garden with wide eyes, not used to having so many flowers around as the Naga kingdom was a tad too humid to house many flowers there. He followed Calistina obediently, though he sorely wanted to run through the garden and explore, his hunger was all but forgotten.
It was only when Calistina spoke again that he realised they were about to have lunch, his attention only half on the task at hand, he took a seat. His gaze still wandering over the flowers. He then looked down at the food before him and picked up a fork, absently popping a slice of tomato in his mouth. He really wasn't paying attention.

"Are you ok, Amber? You seem a little distracted." She smiled and ran a hand through his hair. "If you clean your plate you can go run through the gardens and explore. But I won't have you not eating. Galbriel would skin me alive." She started eating her salad, saving the sandwich for last.

Jade was indeed distracted, all the flowers was bringing something back to him. A suggestion about flowers and a name, why couldn't he think of that name right now? It was so very familiar!! he turned his gaze to Calistina, the wide eyes swimming with deep thought and uncertainty as he started to nibble at the sandwich. He wanted to know, it was the name of a jewel or stone or something, Galbriel had frequently said his eyes matched the colour...like twin stones of..
"..Jade....." he murmured, his gaze fixing on his salad before him, his teeth worrying his bottom lip as he mulled over why it felt like he needed to respond to it. It was only a jewel right?? His eyes, nothing else...so...why did it feel better then Amber??...because Amber was not his name. "...nnn~" he made a sound of worry as he nibbled his sandwich again, trying to bring back his appetite.

Calistina stopped eating the moment he spoke that word. Ice blue eyes gazed at the boy as he sat in deep thought. Perhaps being here with her was helping his regain something of what he lost. She looked at him for a moment then went back to eating. If he was going to remember, he needed to do it his way. Forcing information would only tramatize him. She had agreed on that with Galbriel. "Did you say something dear?" She sipped her tea quietly.

Jade sat back, gazing briefly at Calistina before he lowered his gaze again, he moved away the long sleeve covering his left arm, inspecting the minuscule mark on it. He'd only just noticed it this morning, a tiny seemingly natural mark in the shape of a simple crown with two butterfly wings on either side of it. It looked like a regular mark if you didn't look close enough.
"jadejadejadejadejade..." he whispered to himself, stopping his inspection of the mark as he returned his gaze to the flowers around. C'mon!! It was on the tip of his tongue, why that word was familiar. Cool gardens then blurry images filtered through his mind at that word. He bit his lip once again, worrying it between his teeth as he dropped his gaze.
"...!" he made a startled squeak as it finally hit him, that word!! It was..It was...he paused, he'd lose the name Galbriel had given him...he felt half elated and half sad as the realisation hit him.
"my name...." he lowered the sandwich back to his plate, the food barely eaten. "...it's my name...Jade..." oh god, he had a headache.

"Yes, yes it is dear. Very good. I'm glad you are remembering." She continued to watch him, making sure he didn't strain himself too much. But he was obviously not very hungry now that a memory had returned. She would save his food for when he got hungry later. "Why do you go walk in the garden. Maybe it will make you feel better. I'll most likely still be here with your food, ok?" She smiled in a motherly way to him and put his food aside for the moment.

It was going to be hard, not responding to Amber anymore. He liked that name, Galbriel had given it to him. Galbriel was his non-father father...in Jade's mind at least. He looked up when Calistina agreed that it was his name. She knew about him?? He paused, watching her quietly. She was nice and she knew him...both sides of him.
He was famished but didn't feel like eating. He simply stood and nodded, darting off into the gardens hurriedly to get some time to think and relax. He'd remembered something!! He couldn't believe he had remembered that!! What was he supposed to do now though?? He plopped down to sit under a large bush covered in bright blue flowers, thinking again/ He honestly didn't know what to do, should he tell Galbriel?? But how would he??
