((Maybe Yuugi? I've got an idea of what can happen to him. Or Ryou - doesn't matter))
A sudden scream broke through but it sounded as if it was coming out of another speaker. The voice chuckled lowly "I suggest you hurry. Keep standing there and I'm sure you'll be hearing more screams."
Atemu growled, thinking up over a hundred things that could define this guy. None of which were exactly nice. He heard a sharp click and saw the door slowly swing open. It must have been locked and now it was a signel to start searching. He looked at Akiko and said, "We'll find them, don't worry." His thoughts suddenly went to Amme and mentally assured that they would find them.
Yuugi didn't know whose scream it was but it was enough to make him worr. But... if they didn't find them... no he couldn't think like that. He kneeled down beside Akiko "He's right - we'll find them Akiko." He said, trying to calm her. "We'll find them and then find a way out of here."
Despire gripped the stick in her hand, muttering under her breath then started for the door. "You fools can sit and weep but I'm going to look for Naomi." She stated as she headed out the door. She looked down both ways before turning to the right. She didn't need them.

Bakura cracked his knuckles. He would go along with these twerps- just so he could find a way out of here. He pulled Ryou off of the floor, "Get up," he commanded him. Once Ryou was to his feet he followed Despair down the right hallway. All of that sentiment crap was making him pissed.
Ryou was brought to his feet then left alone. He looked over at Yuugi, Atemu, and Akiko. "We need to find them," Ryou said in a worried tone. The scream sent a chill down his spine. It was of a woman's voice, so it was either Naomi or Amme. The idea of either made him upset to his stomach, however the thought of it being Naomi was worse.
Akiko looked over with weepy eyes toward Yuugi. She nodded her head, she knew they had to go and find them. "Ok, let's go," she said as she stood up. She looked around at the room, and at the new door. They began walking to there were the hallway split into two. "Left or right?" she asked. She could still see Despair and Bakura going right.

Despire glanced over her shoulder, seeing that Bakura was following behind her. She figured he wasn’t going to help her – he didn’t seem the helpful type. Not that she cared. She could perfectly well do this on her own. “At least you seem smarter than those other idiots.” She said as she followed the hall way.
Atemu looked down the hallway, seeing Despire and Bakura at one end. “We can cover more ground if we split up.” He said. “But we shouldn’t go alone.” If they stayed together as a group, they’d be safer.... or at least that’s how he saw it. He thought about the scream and his first thought was Amme. He might not know her but he felt as though he should.
Yuugi stood up as well and started towards the door. Although he agreed with Atemu he didn’t like the idea of them splitting up. Even if they had to deal with Bakura. They would be safer in numbers. He looked back at Ryou, “Ryou? Are you okay?” He could tell he was worried.
((Yeah. I have some idea’s of what can happen to them once their caught. I’ll PM them to you))

Bakura stuck his hands in his pockets. "I want to get out of here, those idiots would slow us down. Not to mention, I wouldn't be caught dead with that joke of a Pharaoh," he said. He looked at the walls, he remembered what happened to the twerp with the window and the electrical current. He knew to stay clear of windows.
"I don't want to split up, in every horror movie that's the down fall of the hero's," Akiko said- being almost fully serious. But it seemed to be the right thing to do. "If we split up, and one group finds them- we would still have to find the other group walking around. Or worse, if the other group is in trouble..." she explained.
"Just worried," he answered Yuugi. They all were, he couldn't say he was more-so, but he felt that way. He then made a face at Akiko, "Do.... do we have to go with them?" He said slightly more on the comical side.

Despire hummed in her throat. “If it were up to me, he wouldn’t be walking around at all.” She murmured to herself. She sighed and then said, “Once I find my hikari, I’m getting out of here as well.” She glanced back at Bakura. She once admired his skills and learned from listening to stories about him.
Yuugi nodded to Ryou. There were all worried and probably scared. He didn’t like this place and wished whoever was behind it would stop. The guy was sick and twisted. He agreed with Akiko though. Splitting up might have been a good idea but it left them at a slight disadvantage as well.
Akiko was probably right but Atemu still felt that they could cover more ground in two groups. “They can handle themselves... and Despire said she was looking for her hikari. We should be searching for Jounochi and Amme.” He said, moving into the hall a bit more.

Bakura smirked, "Ah, another unbeliever of the 'mighty pharoah'." He was happy to find somebody else who apparently despised the Pharaoh as much as himself. "As if there was a reason needed, but why do you hate him so?" he asked interested.
"Hmmm," Akiko thought, "maybe if we stay together and let them go that way. I.... I don't want us to be alone. I don't want to be alone." She knew they had to find them fast, and splitting up could ensure that. But she was scared, who wouldn't be? She followed the three of them: Yuugi, Atem, and Ryou. She stayed close to Yuugi more-so.
"I agree with Atem. And we do need to find them quickly. Naomi is probably with Amme and Jounochi as well," he said. He just had to find his friends. They headed the opposite way of Despair and Bakura.

Despire didn’t answer for a moment but kept walking. “He destroyed my life.” She stated simply. “So it’s only fair that I return the favor.” She turned down a hall, walking with caution through an opened room. Some kind of parlor maybe. “Why do you hate him?” She asked.
Yuugi walked along side Akiko, looking around at the walls. There were a few paintings and the lights were dim, causing large shadows in corners. It seemed that anywhere would be a good spot for an ambush. He suddenly heard something behind them.... like something quickly moving across the floor. “Did you hear that?” He stopped to look but didn’t see anything.
Atemu also stopped, looking around behind them. His piercing red eyes narrowed slightly, trying to looking through the shadows but saw nothing. “It sounded like something moved across the floor. Like an animal...” He said. Suddenly a faint scream broke through the silence. It sounded feminine.

Bakura's smirk faded. Another life ruined by the Pharoah. It made him even more furious with him. He was shocked to hear her question, but should have realized he would be asked. "My people were destroyed, slaughtered. Just so his father could created the Millennium Items. I only wish I could kill his father, but he died before I could. Atemu is the next in kin, he should die," Bakura growled as he spoke. He too heard a scream, though it was further in the distance.
"I heard it too!" she said whiping her head around to look. Seeing nothing, she returned her gaze foreward. The scream made her cringe and grab Yuugi's hand. She was scared, and it was a reaction.
Ryou concentrated on the scream. It was in front of them "Maybe we're getting closer to them. What are they doing to them!?" he said in an obvious upset tone. He didn't care about the foot steps behind them, he wanted to move foreward and fast.

Despire stopped walking, hearing the scream. It was a girl but too faint to recognize. Either way, she had a feeling it was not Naomi. She looked at Bakura, “Your people... they were killed as well?” It was more a statement than a question. She saw the Ring hanging around his neck and touched her own Item. “My village was destroyed for the same reason.... except they did it for the hell of it.” She said, her tone bitter. “My only wish is for Atemu to suffer the same as I did.”
Yuugi looked forward, hearing the scream. He couldn’t tell if it was Amme or Naomi but it couldn’t be good. What was happening to them? He felt Akiko grab his hand and knew she was scared. He gently squeezed her hand, trying to comfort her in a small way. The noise from behind had stopped.
Atemu looked back ahead of them when he heard the scream. It was faint but close. “They can’t be too far.” He said. Even though he didn’t show it, he was about as worried as the others. His friends were in trouble and they couldn’t even find them! His thoughts went to Amme and still felt that they were somehow connected, even though Atemu couldn’t remember why.

"I see, then we're more alike then I thought," he said feeling a bit sympathetic. Figured they would do something as ville as kill for no reason. Blood sucking bastards. He hope he rots in here, and if Atemu makes it- then he would kill him. That is, unless Despair reached him first. The hall now turned left. "This place is just a strange maze," Bakura said. He figured he would stay with her and help find her hikari. "You actually care about your host?" he questioned.
Ryou heard a click under his foot. He lifted it quickly, "What was that?" He looked around to see if anything was set off. He looked down at the ground- it was a button.
Akiko kept her hand in his, at least she felt a little safe near him. Hearing the click, she cringed. Petrified of what was going to happen, she stood still. She heard little screetches above her head. Looking up, she saw about a dozen bats fly down. "Ahhh!" she screamed as she used her free hand to cover her head. They were flying everywhere! "God damn bats!!!" she yelled out.

“Perhaps we are.” Despire said. She wanted to kill Atemu but also wanted to kill every one he was connected to – friends and loved ones. He might not have set the attack but she held him responsible for it. She also noted how the house seemed like a maze. The house itself was huge and if anything was to happen, the other group probably wouldn’t hear a thing. At Bakura question, Despire nodded. “If it weren’t for her, I probably wouldn’t be here.” She said. “Naomi was the one who found the bracelet so it’s only far that I protect her.”
Yuugi ducked at the low flying bats, swatting his other hand at them. What kind of a person would keep bats in the house?! The bats screeched, flying around them in irritation.
Atemu did what the others were doing, trying to keep the bats away. There was no telling what kind of bats these were or if they carried some kind of disease. In the mist of the commotion, he felt his back hit a wall and it spun around, causing him to disappear behind the trap door.

Bakura grunted, "The cream puff found me too, doesn't mean I like him. He ruins everything." Bakura felt a wire against his ankle. He knew what it was the second he hit it- a trap. He looked foreward and saw something shining on the wall. He grabbed Despair and pulled her backwards. She fell on her bottom, but the arrows missed her as they shot out. They stuck to the wooden walls.
Akiko didn't swing at them, she just ducked down. "Maybe if we leave them alone, they'll go away," she said relating them to bees. Normally, she liked bats. Not like this though. She pulled Yugi down with her so they wouldn't attack him either.
Ryou ducked down and didn't swat as instructed. The bats finally flew away and he stood up. He looked around, "Everybody ok?" he asked. He then noticed Atemu was gone. "Yugi, where's your yami?" he asked.

Despire chuckled when Bakura called his hikari a cream puff. She was going to comment on that when Bakura suddenly pulled her back, making her loose balance and fall on her rear. It was a second later when the arrows shot and hit the opposite wall. She looked at them for a moment then stood up, brushing herself off. “Thanks.” She said to him. Once the bats had gone, Yuugi stood up then looked around when he heard Ryou. “Yami?” He called and felt his worry increase when he heard no response. He was here just a moment ago – what could have happened? “Yami?!” He called out a bit louder but still no response. ((Hey chick – if you like Harry Potter then check out this YGOxHP crossover. Bakura nodded at her, as if saying 'your welcome'. "This place is completely boobitrapped [sp?lol], it's like the ancient temples back in egypt," he said. He didn't offer a hand up, but he looked around the area.
Akiko stood up and looked around. "Oh no..." she mummbled. How could he just disappear? "Yami!?" she called out as well. She walked slowly and looked around. "This hallway goes straight for a while- there's no way he could have... gone.... we would still see him," Akiko said confused.
Ryou looked at well. "Then where is he?" Ryou said. He looked at the wall and notice an indent that went from the top to the bottom. He walked up to it and started to knock around the area.

Despire nodded in agreement. She wondered how much time the man had to set up the traps and how many more were down this corridor. A shiver suddenly went down her spine and she looked around. “Something is here.” She said, gripping the stick. “Can you sense it?”
Yuugi had no idea. There was no sign of his darker half, no matter which way he looked. There’s no way Yami could have just... disappeared into thin air... right? He noticed Ryou knocking on the wall. “What is it Ryou?” He asked.
