Dantaye gently felt the area where the brand-like arm had been pressed against her and let out a cry of pain. She looked at the cloth, burned clean through and moved it as gently as she could to see an eye burned fresh into her chest. She groaned again and looked at Thorn, "One more scar...ah, I'll be ok. Thank you Thorn." Dantaye didn't know how true those words were and she gritted her teeth through the pain of picking up her weapon.

"I Promise you all, this is a losing battle" Wes said, fighting back the flashbacks of his time as a prisoner of the dream zone. He slowly started moving abackwards, keeping his guard up, amazingly still consious after losing as much blood as he had. He motioned for the others to get back to the Hotel, without looking to see if they had seen him do so.

Seeing Dantaye in pain while picking up her weapon told her that Dantaye didn't know how true the words she had just spoken to Thorn were. " You should rest now we'll take care of this okay," Thorn told Dantaye. " You don't want to push yourself and don't lie to me saying that you're fine i can see the pain you're in so at least rest for a few minutes. Okay." Thorn said more forcefully. Trusting that Dantaye would listen to what she had just told Thorn stood up and took up a defensive position as one of the dreamer lunged at the two of them. She didn't dare dodge because then the dreamer would only hurt Dantaye more. As the dreamer attacked Thorn's sword took the full blow and she was trusted back a few inches but was able to counter attack and hit the dreamer straight in it's forehead. It screamed in pain and faded away while Thorn kept up the defensive position around Dantaye. Just then Thorn saw Wes motioning them to follow him. Helping Dantaye she helped get her out of the battle following Wes.

Cam was backing towards the hotel, occasionally launching small Chow Gar strikes with his blade, making Dreamer and Dreamer fall back.
"Come on Wes, crawl out of your emo-corner and cheer up" he joked, looking over his shoulder.

"Thorn..." Dantaye paused taking pained breaths, "Thanks for the help...I wonder though...why an eye?" her last words hung in her mind, out of all the Dreamer could have done, it branded her with an eye.

Thorn was so concentrated on getting Dantaye back to the hotel that she didn't quite hear what her friend had said. "huh Oh your welcome i couldn't just leave you there could and besides you're my friend" Thorn replied cheerfully. Just when she stopped talking her a sharp pain shot up her arm that had been injured earlier. Thorn flinched at the pain but kept the smile on her face so that no one would worry about her.

"I shouldn't be using you as a crutch," Dantaye said with a pained smile, "I know you got hurt earlier. I should be able to make it the rest of the way, we're almost there." Dantaye could remember that from the time she was a little girl she'd never liked taking more help than she really needed, and even then she felt like a leech for asking.

Cam kept backing away, dodging any flying rocks sent his way. One Dreamer got too close, so he ran straight up its chest, launching a kick under its chin. The kick sent the Dreamer flying back and Cam flying back as well, flipping over the girls heads, landing hard onto the ground in front of them.
"Oww....I meant to do that" he said in a pained voice, getting up shakily.

Wes drug himself through the gates to the Hotel's courtyard, and the last of the dreamers faded away. "So how do you like your new home, Cam, was it?" he said between winces.

"Exiting to say the least" Cam said in a pained voice, rubbing his lower back. "You guys REALLY need to work on your landscaping though, my a** hurts from that roll I took" he added, shaking his head.
He grabbed the hotel door handle, holding it open for the group.

Releasing Dantaye Thorn went through the doors that Cam held open. Taking one look back at the others she headed up the stairs to her room wincing in pain every few steps. When she got to her room she shut the door behind her and started to retreat her wounds.

Dantaye thanked Cam as she walked through the door and headed up to her room wearily. She entered the door and removed the remnants of her shirt to stare in the mirror at her new wound. The raised marks burned red against her skin in the mirror, the enigmatic eye that she didn't care to wrap her mind around at the moment. She sighed, knowing that she had nothing to help with burns.
