David quickly wiped away a final tear and smiled at Ziven. "No, it is better if my memories remain locked in my mind...Besides, we have training to get to."

"Well .. if you ever believe that you would like to speak and wish to trust me, I will be here for you." she said softly, the expression on her face somber but not unkind. Standing, she nodded her head, waiting for him to stand, she would follow after him.

David stood and started for the door, but he glanced back and said, "It's not that I don't trust you, it's that i just don't want to burden other's with my memories..." He swiftly turned back and went to the large double doors that led into the training facility.

"It is an honor to help a friend, never a burden." she replied simply. Once there, she opened the now double doors, surprised to see how much change. When she entered and felt there was a barrier preventing magic, she paused. "This .. is only preventing use, correct?" she asked simply, assuming he would know exactly what she meant.

"Yes, it only prevents the use of magic." He looked at the blank white walls and sighed. He snapped his fingers and the walls went black. Suddenly, whise specs appeared, and soon the wall showed a murel of a far away galaxy. "That's better..."

Arching a brow,she shook her head slightly as he changed the room more. "Why is this better?"

"It promotes wellness of mind and inhances focus." He looked around the room and then motioned to her to come out. "Ziven, please come here for a moment, there is just one more spell I'd like to add before we begin and I can't do it with you standing in there..."

She nodded and moved out of the room, watching him with curiosity.

He snapped his fingers the second she was out and everything appeared to shudder as the next spell took hold. Pleased with his work, he entered the room and stumbled slightly. After walking to the stage, he motioned for Ziven to enter. "Enter, but only if you can withstand gravity 10 times it's normal strength."

She looked to him with surprise. "Why ten times? I will try .. it would, perhaps, be better to try a little at a time, increase as you go." she said softly looking at the room. She stood there mentally preparing herself for a few moments before considering taking a step in. She was both thrilled and terrified to try, but try she did. Taking a step, then another, she was now inside the room, concentrating on nothing but staying standing under the force. After a moment, her knees began to wobble. Breathing was nearly impossible .. yet somehow she was making it .. but for how long?

David quickly realised that Ziven was in trouble, and he quickly went to her side and scooped her up in his arms. He quickly carried her out of the room and set her down. "Are you ok?" He waved at the room and the gravity level dropped to 5.

It was difficult enough to breathe when standing up, it was impossible to breathe once in a laying position in David's arms. With a choking sound, she gasped for air once they were in regular gravity again but she was deprived enough of oxygen at that point she fainted.

David carried her to her room and gently laid her down on her bed. Finding a chair nearby, he sat and waited for her to wake.

Once rested in her bed, she inhaled deeply, clearly her entire body recognized this place of rest and comfort. Almost immediately, she curled on to her side, clinging to her large body pillow - part in her arms, part tucked under her head. There she would sleep for hours until she were finally rested. Given the pain she had been feeling with her loss, she had not slept hardly at all over the past week. At long last, she felt comforted enough, knowing there was someone there who would even attempt to take care of her, she could relax and rest. Slowly, she began to wake. Sleep would not easily leave her as she had slept much longer than she usually would. Blue eyes fluttered open but she did not move from her place of rest. As she became more alert, she wondered how she got to her bed .. the last she remembered, she was with David. Worry for his well being now set in as a greater sens of confusion passed over her. She took a chance, speaking softly, still caught in the unfamiliar space between wake and sleep. "David?"

In all the hours of Ziven's sleep, David had not moved an inch. Hearing his name, he quickly stood and was at her side. "Is there anything you need?"
