He nodded in understanding, but regret was something he knew very well and couldn't let himself live without. Though now it was a nit easier because Yusuke usually diverted his attention. "I know that feeling, and how hard is it to live with." He waited a moment and looked into her eyes before he spoke again. "What regret do you live with, Yusuke?"

"well you see my friend Sayako was an angelic and we lives with a lot of demonic i just feel like a coward for not helping her as much as i could... and i guess before i let i should of stood up to my father more... we didn't really get along, but its too late to make piece now hes no longer with us..." she sighed as she put her head on his shoulder almost to comfort herself in his warm silky fur.

"I'm sure he knew you cared about him." He lightly nuzzled his chin on her forehead as his tail idly rubbed her side, trying to comfort her the best he could. He kicked his feet a bit, bringing them closer to the shore so they could relax on the sand as the sun went down slowly in the changing sky.

"Sayako is a girl..." she chuckled laying back on the beach. "yeah i am sure she did i wonder where she is now last i heard she was with someone named Kazu..." she stated. "anyway i dont know why i brought it up i am just a bit random today." @@ she stated with a twitchy smile. "so now what?"

"I meant your father..." he said with a small smile curving his features. "And as for being random, i like learning more about you." His tail curled softly around her back as laid half on the beach as his other half was cooled by waves. Lifting his head to face her, he grinned. "Well it's starting to get late, we should probably gets something to eat then find a shelter for the night."

"care about my father yeah right..." she sighed before smiling as she licked his nose and stood up. "yeah your right Val" she agreed standing up as she shock the sand of of her vibrant fur she looked at him ready to go as she thought for a moment. No one has never wanted to learn about me before... they all thought i was so plain...

He gave her a reassuring smile before he headed off into the woods in search for some small rodents. He did indeed love fish, but everyone needed a change every once in a while. "If you like I can catch some mice, and you can gather some berries. we'll have a feast mi lady." he said cockily. And with that he went off in search of a family of mice.

Yusuke smiled and went off to do as he said imagining him trying to catch a family of mice it would be funny to watch, she grabbed a large leaf and put may different types of berried in in and a couple off apples too before slowly starting to head back dragging the leaf of fruit with her, she was careful to not let anything fall off of it.

Valerian's ears perked up to attention at the sound of soft munching underneath a nearby bush. Crouching down low he took a couple steps forward before pouching face first into the bush. Three small mice were scurrying between his paws as he quickly slapped his paw down again and again, it took a couple misses but in the end he caught his pray and carried them back to where he had left Yusuke.

Yusuke finally made her way as she say Val thinking for a moment before she put the leaf infront of him as she looked around hearing little squeaks as she saw some more mice running around she pounced on one swallowing it all as she started to chock she hated killing them so she used the snake method a lot but she was now suffering because of it.

Val cocked his head to the side as he watched Yusuke in the distance, the mice he had caught had already died while in his mouth. Plopping them down on the leaf with the berries gave her a half hearted smile as he looked at her with a bit concerned. "Are you alright? You seem a bit pale.."

Yusuke opened her mouth wide as the ball of fluff finally fell out and managed to run off somehow. "yes i am fine..." she blushed not wanting to admit a mouse beat her. she looked at him with a small smile. "anyway come on Val." she stated making her tail pull his for a moment before she went back to the leaf eating one of the apples/

Valerian tilted his head to side, his eyes wideining as he watched the little mouse scurry away into the brush, then turned back to Yusuke. "I think I should do the hunting for now on" he said with a sympathic smile. He took a couple small bites of berries, then started cutting one of the mice up with his claw before devoring the little creature.

"i can hunt i just dont like killing things thats all..." she mentioned a little embarrassed about the situation i mean whats a cat that cant kill a mouse it was just stupid. "do you have little things you cant do?" she asked looking up at him as she munched on a mouse.

Val nuzzled her neck lightly before he nodded. "I understand, I couldn't stand it either but I had to learn to get over it with everything that happened." he smiled and snickered slightly at her question. Everyone had at least one thing that they couldnt do well or were afraid to do. "I'm a bit afraid of the dark.." he answered softly, his cheek turning a bit darker.
