His eyes looked on to the grim estate with worry, his heart beating against his chest with fevered anxiety, legs weary with fatigue. His best buddy was in trouble, fueled by the love for this so called "lady" he was so infatuated with. He could recall earlier arguments with him, saying not to go any further. John's ancestry certainly did dictate how to treat Derryk's new interest. It was that rivalry that probably fueled Derryk more than any other reason to persue her. Pushing those feelings aside, John placed an even greater rush to rescue Derryk. Besides, if they got out of this scrape alive, he would tell him, "I told you so," in that same voice he always said to him after doing something impulsive.

Erebus thought for a little but as he looked apon his wifes face. This was truely something, here was his wife asking him to go and do the dirty work himself, a women who'd not but hours ago was getting ready to bed with this Derryk.
"Hmm, how about we go down there, and you get to do the dirty work darling?"
Erebus smirked this was truely turning out to be his night, he was about to rid the world of a human, and make his wife do the killing blow to her lover, he had to hand it to himself her was delicously evil tonight, and he didn't plan to stop there.

Erebus sighed, this was going to be hard then he thought for a moment.
Maybe he could kill him and she'd be his forever, or he could...
"I know darling, so i'll deliver the coup de grace, then you'll be mine forever right?"
Erebus asked, already knowing the answer.

Erebus looked at his wife, he couldn't deny her anything.
"Well darling, that sounds like a good plan, but what happends if he returns to your bed, and you disappear from mine?"

"That won't happen my darling...You've got too many guards that would love to kill him given the chance..." Lady Nyx smiled gently at her love..."Besides, there'll be nothing left of him for us to play with...we've been up here so long the guards will have beaten him senseless..."

Erebus nodded, maybe this time he'll get him to scream, he then put on his house cloak, and walk towards the door, then he looked back at his wife.
"Are you coming darling?"
Erebus asked quite simplely as he waited for his wife to come along.

"Shall I change or leave on this bloody dress?" Lady Nyx had caught it...she had been trying to work into his head and had finally caught a glimpse of what he meant to do...he was still going to torment Derryk. She waited for him to answer her question while she thought on it...

Erebus sighed, as he looked at his wife.
"You can choose, though I do like how that blood looks on you, quite lovely indeed."
Erebus smiled, the first smile he'd done in a long time. Erebus was actually happy tonight and mostly because he'd got his wife back.

"Well if you like it, then I leave it..." Lady Nyx smiled sweetly at Erebus, "Let's go down my darling..." She stepped close to him, she was shorter than he by at least a foot but her voice was strong enough that she towered over most people. She knew what he meant to do once they were back in the dungeons and she could only hope that Derryk had found a way out himself.

As Erebus and Nyx walked to the dungeon together arm in arm, the guards they passed had to do a double take, because they had hardly ever seen them like this.
"Alright my love, shall we watch the guards first or, just get in there and get some blows in ourselves?"

"Let's just go in..." Lady Nyx glared at the guards who were gaping at them..."What's wrong with your men? They seem dumbstruck..." she muttered to her husband.

Erebus looked at his wife, and smiled.
"They've hardly seen us together like this, remember these are new guards, most were killed in the last raid."
As he walked he thought about that faithful day.

"Ah yes...I'm sorry I had forgotten...that raid was horrible...and it was what brought Derryk to us...so it has had a bit of a lasting affect.." Lady Nyx trailed off, thinking about that day herself...when she had first laid eyes on the beautiful human, Derryk...she had wanted him for herself since that very day...
